Chapter 14 (installment 1) :

Morning, 9.00 am, Mehra mansion.

All gathered in front of the mansion. Rathod splited his team in three groups... Saakshi-Aisha, Chotu- Arjun, Shree and him. Today Sonali alone stayed in the SUV with two Junior ETF officers. And Chikky who was sitting comfortably on Shree's head, fled to her friends in the sky.

Rathor : Guys, Shree & Arjun will check downstarirs, specially the projection room, and rest will chech upstairs, Aisha, stick with Saakshi. Come.

Chotu pushed the main door but it was heavy enough that he was having difficulty to open it.Rest ETF boys gave him a hand...but the door seemed to be jammed.

Shree : The door was oiled a day before, now it's jammed...

Rathod : Seems somebody poured glue in it... Damm it!!

Chotu was frustrated enough because of not to be able to break or open the door. He held the door handle and pulled it with force. & in the next instant he found himself lying on ground.

Rathod : Aab yahi baki tha...bewkoof ne handle hi torr di...

Arjun : Uff...Move Chotu... I can't breath.

Chotu rolled aside and sat ...he cheched himself if he was injured or not...Meanwhile Rathod helped Arjun to get up.

Chotu : I'm OK..Sir you...?

Arjun didn't heed him... he took the handle from his hand and observed it ...then he got up & keenly observed the door.

Arjun : the screws are scratched... and the door also.

Rathod : It's a very old stuff... And it has went through several pulls in last 15 days. Maybe that's why...

Arjun : No Rathod, It has been helped to come out... I mean the screws were made loose deliberately.

Shree : So we are going back...( ACP's glared at him)..we cant get in na..

Arjun : Saakshi, tum aur Chotu...

Saakshi : (Started walking toward backyard)Follow me.

Saakshi led them to the broken window. But she surprisingly saw the window was closed by some wood pieces.

Saakshi : Yeh kab hua !!

Whole team was frustrated, they looked everywhere except each other.

Rathod : Spread out guys and find a way in.

Now everyone started checking the windows of the mansion to get in ...Suddenly Aisha called Saakshi. Rathod was nearby and he heard that, before Saakshi he reached by her side.

Rathod : What happened, Aisha?

Aisha showed him the closed window.

Rathod : This is closed Aisha...we can't get in through it.

Aisha didn't answer him, instead she pulled Saakshi's scarf, entangle it around Rathod's hand tightly and hit the window glass with his hand. Rathod was stunned to her gesture that he even forgot to react.

Aisha released his hand from Saakshi's scarf and her hold as well, she removed the broken glassed from the window pane and open the bolt.

Aisha : (smirking) Now we can easily get in sir... (in microphone) We've found our way guys... (returning the scarf to Saakshi ) Thakns Saakshi.

Saakshi : My pleasure...Sameer??

Rathod : (shaking off his hand) I'm fine...let's get in...Aisha Yeh tumne...

Aisha : We've warrant sir.

They entered the mansion. It was a big room with a big dining table & some chairs.

Aisha : It's the dining area...

Rathod : It's one of the dining areas, Aisha. Another's upstairs.

Saaksi : But it's in use... look the room is clean.

Arjun : And whomever entered here last time...he smokes. (he held remaining of a ciger)...Chotu collect fingerprints from here.

Rathod lead the girls and Shree to upstairs.In the daylight, the mansion looked as mysterious as in night. However, the daylight decreased the darkness a bit, but the dark corners still able to give them goosebumps.

They entered the main hall and started searching the place. Rathod and Shree noticed the Armour suit which stick up against the wall. They passed a "I knew it" look.

Shree stood up in front of the suit and checked it properly. He found a wire binding the suit to a ring placed on the wall.

Shree : Sir look...this armour suit is bound against the wall...

Rathod : Taaki yeh phir se kisipe na gire.

Shree : This ring is new.

Rathod : Of cours it is...purana hota toh tumpe yeh janab girta hi nahi.

On the other side, girls were checking out the photos and paintings.

Aisha : Unbelievable yaar... all the photos are of one single man ! ...and he looks different in each photograph !!

Saakshi : Haan... That's why some film critic named him " The man with million faces"

Aisha : Aab to uska films vi dekhne ka mann karr raha hain. Saakshi yaha kuch nahi milega. I think we should..

"OULD"..."OOD'..."D'

Aisha stopped at her place, confused.

Saakshi looked at her face and started laughing. & it amplified thousand times.

Rathod and Shree dragged them aside.

Rathod : Saakshi, stop it !!..

Saakshi : Sorry guys... but I love Eco...so. Ek baar hello bolu? Plz..

Rathod : Not now...do one thing...you two go right, and we'll go left. Jaldi se sab dekhke barar milo... I'm feeling strange.

Girls nodded and the team splited.

Rathod and Shree entered a room, neatly arranged with some bookshelves, a reading table and some few furnitures.

Rathod : It's may be his study...well maintained...

Shree : It's like a library...so many books !! ...Sir yeh kya ho sakta hain? (he pointed towards a big thing covered with black canvas.)

Rathod : Dekhlo...come & help me removing this.

Both removed the canvas...& both missed a heartbeat.

Shree : Sir ?!!? Yeh toh...

Rathod : Skeleton hain, but whose?

His gaze fell on a card placed near the foot of the skeleton. Shree read it loud.

"To my friend Yatin Mehra, who have always been with me in every venture into darkness. It is a small token to our friendship; I hope you will take care of my body the way I kept your secrets in my heart. -R. Conrworth."

Rathod : Kaise kaise paagal hain iss duniya main... koi aapna skeleton kisiko gift karta hai kya? Shree, call someone to take this body for autopsy.

Shree instructed the medics in microphone and turned towards Rathod. He was looking into some files and papers on the study table.

Rathod : Old scripts...and papers. Shree, take some snaps...maybe we can find something useful.

Shree nodded and started working while Rathod checked the room thoroughly.

yatin mehra was really a psycho and has oviously had all sorts of crazy frnds...own skeleton as gift??
