Hey friends!!!!! My name is Livania but you guys can call me Livi. I've been a die- hard fan from the time IPKKND started and I miss it all so much. Really I've never loved a programme so much ever before.

Anyway enough of my silly banter, I've been a silent reader for some time now and I have to say that the stories are fantastic and not to forget addictive. So I decided to write one of my own. I'm not going to reveal the concept yet but I'm gonna try my best to not make it too clichd.

So here it is... hope you like it...

INEVITABLE CHANGES...

PROLOGUE:

'Doctor, where is my wife? I want to see her now. Please.''

'Please Mr Raizada, calm down. You have to calm down. Please.''

'I don't care about calming down. I just want my wife dammit!!!''

'Mr Raizada I don't know how to tell you this but your wife didn't make it. But we are trying our best to save your baby. I'm very sorry for your loss. Mr Raizada, are you okay? Mr Raizada? Nurse, bring the injection, quick.''

THREE DAYS LATER:

'Mr Raizada, a decision needs to be made immediately. Your brother is not in the position to make a decision.''

'Doctor, are you sure that there is no other way?''

'We've done all we could Mr Raizada, its up to you now.''

'Dadi...''

'Do it Beta! For your nephew and your brother.''

The Raizada family stood back and watched as the elder Raizada brother gave the go ahead to a decision that would change their lives forever. And the tears rolled...

So that's it. I know it's a little confusing right now but I promise it will all become a little clearer after this and maybe the character sketch in the next post will help you understand.

CHARACTER SKETCH:

BARUN SOBTI AS ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA-26 years old, the same as the serial but the only difference being that he was a very family-orientated guy until tragedy struck and he lost his wife and baby. He beomes hard and withdraws from the people around him.

KHUSHI GUPTA\SINGH RAIZADA- 20 years old, a mature, beautiful woman who makes the mistake of falling in love with a man who vowed to never let love happen to him again. Not to mention she is Arnav's sister-in-law.

DEEPALI PANSARE AS PAYAL SINGH RAIZADA- 24 years old, a beautiful woman. She was Arnav's wife until one fateful night that they met with an accident and she didn't make it. She is Khushi's elder sister. She was 7 months pregnant at the time of her death.

AKSHAY DOGRA AS AKASH SINGH RAIZADA-28 years old, he is Arnav's elder brother and is married with a 2 year old daughter. He and Arnav share an unbreakable bond. He is Arnav's mentor and best friend. He lives with the guilt that he gave the go ahead to let doctors take his 3 day old nephew off life support. He is dreading the day that Arnav finds out.

DALJEET BHANOT AS ANJALI SINGH RAIZADA-25 years old, she is a beautiful, strong-willed woman. She is Akash's wife and a mother to their two year old daughter, Pia. She was good friends with Payal and Khushi. She loves her Arnav Bhaiya and misses their fun after the accident. She is never afraid to voice her opinion.

JAYSHREE T AS DEVYANI RAIZADA\DADI- 60 years old, she is the elder of the Raizada family. She loves her grandsons and grand-daughter-in-laws. She raised her grandsons after her son and daughter-in-law mysteriously disappeared. She is very kind-hearted but strict when needed.

ABHAAS MEHTA AS SHYAM MANOHAR JHA- 27 years old, our lovable villain in the story. He is Arnav's rival in business and some shocking revelations will be made about him in the future.

MADHURA NAIK AS SHEETAL MANOHAR JHA- 25 years old, she is Shyam's wife and involved in their business too. She absolutely hates the Raizada's

THE GUPTA FAMILY IS THE SAME AS THE SHOW

So heres chapter 1...

CHAPTER 1: CALLINGS FROM THE PAST

FOUR MONTHS LATER:

Arnav Singh Raizada walked up to his front door and pressed on the doorbell. Hari Prakash, the house-keeper opened the door.

''Hari Prakash, there is a box with files in it, in the car. Please bring it to the study for me.'', he said, then looked around noticing that the house was awfully quiet.

''Where is everyone?'', he asked

''Chote-Saab, Malkan is gone to the temple. Bade-Saab and Bade-Bahu are gone with Pia Baby for her monthly check-up and Choti-Bahu is in her room.'', explained the man, stepping towards the door as he wanted to get the box from the car.

''Oh! And Hari Prakash, make sure no one disturbs me in the study. I have alot of work to do.'', he instructed in a stern voice.

''Ji Chote-Saab.''

Arnav stepped into the entrance hall of the Raizada house and when he looked up, the sight that greeted him, tugged painfully at his heart. His Jaan's face, was encrusted in a wooden frame, with a beautiful garland over it. It hung there, showcasing her beautiful face and her smile. God! He missed seeing that smile. He missed her. He remembered the day he took it. It was a year ago when they had gone on their honeymoon to Paris. They were so happy. He felt his eyes well up but his moment was interrupted by Hari Prakash.

''Chote-Saab, here is the box. I'll take it up while you change.Shall I get you a cup of coffee in the mean time?'', he asked kindly.

''No, I don't want anything. I'll call if I do.'', with that said, Arnav walked up to his room to get changed.

Khushi sat on her bed, her knees drawn to her chest with her hands resting on them. She had just completed another one of her daily crying sessions. It had become a daily routine for her but only in the confines of her bedroom. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and eyed her sindoor and mangalsutra. She felt as though she couldn't recognise herself anymore.

With each day that passed she felt worse about herself. She knew that she was the intruder in the house, the one that had to find her place. She felt as though she had committed the biggest sin ever. She had fallen in love. And then she had let that cloud her judgement and hence her life today.She replayed the conversation she had had with her Buaji almost four months ago.
FLASHBACK:

''Bitiya, I know this is hard for you but we are all missing your sister. Listen, khushi, Devyaniji, your father and I all think that it is the best thing to do.''

''But Amma? She doen't think so. Amma hated me before and now she'll hate me even more.''

''Nonsense! I'll talk to Garima and convince her okay? You don't worry about that. You just focus on what we have decided.''

''But Bua, he doesn't love me. He doesn't even feel attracted to me. How can I marry someone who doesn't even care about himself?''

''Khushi, with time it will all change. You trust your Bua nah?''

Khushi nodded.

''Thats my girl.'', said Khushi's Bua, Madhumati, engulfing her in a hug

END OF FLASHBACK

Only now did Khushi realise that she had been so caught up in her own emotions that she failed to see the reality of the situation and its outcome. Here we had, Khushi Singh Raizada, married to her Brother-in-law, madly in love with him, trying to find her place in the Raizada family and failing miserably at every attempt.

Because the reality of it all, is that Arnav Singh Raizada would never love her back and the Raizada family would never accept her besides, Dadiji. Even Pia, her niece, showed her dislike towards her. And the most shocking part, was Anjali Di who was once her Best of friend showed her how much she disliked it too. Khushi was all alone.

Arnav was busy in his cupboard, taking out a sweater when something fell out. It was a glossy paper and it didn't take him long to realise what it was. A sonographic picture of his baby, their baby. He ran his hand over it. They were going to name him Dhruv. Of-course they had two names because they didn't know the gender. But Dhruv was the name if it were a boy.

He remembered how Payal would say that she wanted a boy. A mini Arnav, she would say. Gosh! They were so excited for the baby. He remembered the day she told him.

FLASHBACK:

''Hi Dadi!'', greeted Arnav after returning from a long day at work

''Hello Beta.'', she greeted smiling brightly

''Where is Payal?'', he asked impatient to see his wife.

''Payal Bahu is in her room. she wasn't feeling well, so she went to lie down.'', said Dadi

''What? Payal is sick and you're telling me now?'', said Arnav in a worried tone

He rushed up to their room to find his wife out of bed, twirling in front of the mirror with the green saree, he had gifted her, draped over her shoulder. She stopped immediately when she saw his reflection in the mirror. Payal's face turned crimson.

''Jaan, Dadi told me that you were feeling sick. But you're out of bed.'', he told her, coming up behind her, to hug her.

She instantly relaxed into his touch and smiled. ''Arnav, I'm fine, Actually, Dadi sent me to bed but I'm too excited to sleep.''

''About what Jaan?'', asked Arnav confused.

''Arnav, I asked Dadi
not to tell you because I wanted to be the one to tell you.'', she said, confusing Arnav more.

''Tell me what?''

''I'm pregnant.''

''What? Are you serious? Oh my God! I can't believe it. Jaan we're gonna be parents.'', said Arnav in an excited tone, lifting Payal up and spinning her around.

He put her down and said, ''I love you.''

''I love you too.''

They stood for ages hugging each other while the rest of the Raizada family stood watching them with teary smiles.

END OF FLASHBACK

Arnav didn't realise he was crying until a tear fell on the picture. He put it back in the cupboard. And sat down on his bed, clutching the edges to control his emotions.

Arnav Singh Raizada was tired of his life. It didn't mean anything anymore, without, his wife, his jaan, his best friend, his lover, HIS PAYAL...
