While I laud Arnav for manipulating things to make it up to Khushi by making their marriage legal, i sincerely hope he lets her go.


I hope he allows her the time and space to find herself.

I hope he allows her to start owning her life.

I hope he allows her to know what she wants for herself .

I hope he will allow her to decide if and when she wants to allow him back into her life. I want HIM to be given access to her life, not her to come back to him.

For despite his genuine remorse and repentance, Arnav is still arrogant enough not to realize that it is not love that Khushi is looking for.

She knows that he loves her and she loves him, but right now she is looking for herself , the person who has given herself so totally in her love for others that there is nothing left of her. She wants to salvage the shreds of her life, pick up the pieces and build herself a new, strong Khushi who can break out of the cage called love which has been her life so far.

She has given everyone her boundless and selfless love, now I hope Arnav gives her the gift of the freedem to love and nurture her crushed self and let her overcome all that she has been through.This is your best story ever, Smita, it has shown beautifully and very poignantly the very painful birth of Khushi the person, who has decided to shed the masks of sister, daughter, daughter-in-law, wife and become herself.

For me your story is about the birth of Khushi. Though her love for Arnav and his for her is the most significant aspect of her life, and in fact this love is the very soil from which she will grow, yet it is only a part of who she is. Khushi is more than just the love that she has for Arnav and he for her! Chapter 8 moved me to tears.

Smita that was utterly a fantastic update...now looking forward for rashmi's interpretation...😊
