Karan grabbed a drink from the bar and handed it to Suzy who stood next to him at a corner of the dancefloor.

She took it and grinned, "Ziddi ho.. Aakhir apni baat manva hi li na.."

He shrugged his shoulders and winked, "Kya karoon? Meri personality hi kuch aisi hai.."
She chuckled and the duo moved away from the crowd towards the seating area.


Karan's eyes searched for Rosy all the while and he even got worried for a second upon not finding her.

The blaring music and ecstatically screaming crowd made it impossible for him to talk to her and just when he was about to politely excuse himself to go look out for her, he saw her.


She stood in a corner with closed eyes and her arms hanging at her sides.

Her hair was tousled with all the dancing but her face showed no signs of tiredness.

He took a closer look and was amazed to see a small smile playing at the corner of her lips.

The sight made him smile in turn and he found himself observing her, forgetting all about Suzy and the party.

Gone was the shrewd, manipulative Rosanna D'costa and for the second time that evening, Karan questioned himself if his intuitions were indeed right.

Her heart desired him.
Each time she questioned herself and her pounding heart when he set his eyes on her, only one answer rang in her ears.

Even today, years later when all dreams were shattered and hopes of being with the man she had ever loved lay crushed beneath her feet, Arohi could never bring herself to forget him.

The boy she had grown up with, the man she had fallen in love with and the friend she couldn't imagine her life without, she wanted all of him.

Despite her logical mind and crushed heart's constant reminders and reasoning, a tiny part of the young woman within her hadn't given up hope.


A warm strong arm encircled her waist and pulled her closer making her snap out of her trance.

Her curled lashes opened slowly and she found herself staring into those familiar dark eyes.

Arjun didn't move his gaze from her and slowly lifted his hand to her face.
Grazing her soft cheek with the back of his palm, he placed his forehead against hers.


She looked on with disbelief and a tear rolled out of her eye at the gentle touch.

Bann ke chaahat nazron se khat

Likhna likhna..

Tu hai jaisa mujhko waisa

Dikhna dikhna..


This is what she had missed all these years; his warmth and strength..

Every time he held her in those strong arms, she would lose herself and forget all her worries. And the same happened today as well..


She tilted her head to the side and brought her hand up to cup his face.

He was undoubtedly the most handsome man she had ever seen.. No other had ever been able to make her heart flutter.


Her lips parted on their own to speak but the soft look in his eyes stopped her..
She felt his stubble against her palm and smiled as she caressed his jaw.

Likhna likhna..

Tu hai jaisa mujhko waisa

Dikhna dikhna..


They were hardly even moving to the music anymore, simply holding each other amongst the crowd of people.

His face was so close to hers that their noses touched each others and their eyes drifted close slowly.
His fingers trailed patterns along the curve of her waist before they came to a rest at the base of her spine.

Ro's breath came out in soft puffs and he leaned closer to her.
The scent of his musky cologne washed over her and she raised on her toes slowly.

Years of longing and heartache seemed to be coming to an end. Her betraying heart had already silenced her logical mind. All she knew was that she wasn't letting him go ever again.


Money, fame, her career and everything in her life seemed insignificant when compared to what she felt that moment. Decisions she had made needed to be changed.. The wrong needed to be undone.

Besabak surooron ka saathi

Mujhe kya parwaah iss duniya ki..

Tu paas mere.. jag paas mere

Main hoon hi nahi iss duniya ki..


She felt him nuzzle her nose and slowly opened her eyes.

His eyes shone with love. She could see her feelings mirrored in them.
Not thinking twice, she gently placed her head on his shoulder and embraced him.

Never before had she felt so secure and at peace. It felt as if everything else ceased to exist.
It was only the two of them and their innocent love, untouched by malice that had triumphed over all..


Tumhi din chadhe
Tumhi din dhale..

Tumhi ho bandhu
Sakha tumhi..


Karan tapped her shoulder slowly and her eyes flew open.
She looked at her empty hands and her eyes drifted towards the entrance.

Not being able to believe that all of it was unreal and a figment of her imagination, she stepped towards the door.
But as she approached the end of the room, the harsh reality came crashing down on her.


The sudden dejection spreading across her face didn't go unnoticed by Karan.
Neither had he missed the happiness and colour rising on her face when she stood immobile in the middle of the dance floor.

He could read through the lost look on her face and his doubts were answered.

Though he wasn't sure, he had guessed her little secret.
His partner was probably nursing a broken heart.



Rosy steadied herself by leaning on a chair, closed her eyes and tried to compose herself.
Her heart had tricked her yet again.


Outside, Arjun stood leaning against the SUV awaiting a signal from his colleagues.

The nightclub, partying youngsters and friends hanging out together had reminded him of her.

He looked up to face the starry skies, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. A weird sense of restlessness overcame him and he closed his eyes..

For the first time in years, he felt as if she was right there.. Beside him..
As if he would find her winking at him or smiling cheekily at him.

The void deep within him resurfaced yet again and unaware to himself, he prayed. She had always believed in the power of prayers. She'd said they were a means to convey our heartfelt gratitude and wishes to the Almighty.

And to him, there was nothing dearer than the girl he had loved and lost. He prayed for her..


Little did he know that he was a few feet away from the love of his life.

Phew.. Done.. Now that was a really long one.. And hence I need an equally long break as well.. 😛

And what a start, Rosy with highlight I am sure is very pretty, but the FB of pink and hair and Arjun's reaction had me rolling but the cherry on the top is how she got him back. Yep, never do that to a tigress, most specially Rosy/Arohi the tigress. She is in a league of her own ACP saheb.😆

Ha..and you say I am good at description, but you my friend are no less, trust me you kill me every time.😳

OMG, kill me now, seriously in black shirt? You did that on purpose.😲 I will get you back for this, but you should have never warned me because I was prepared with ice cold water by my side.😛(But I did have to pause and read that part few more times before I could move down to read the rest. Should have saved it till last.😆

Ohh...me thinks, Liza has teeny weeny crush on our hotwa, but hey who can blame her, tell her ogle on.😉

On second thought, she should stick to Specky Sen, looks like the lady is just as impressed with her arch enemy.😆 And Specky Sen is also melting towards her it seems.😉

*shakes head* but this two will never change, they hide their true feeling under the guise of fights, but nothing misses our sharp cops eyes right?

😆 Lol..Poor Karan, Didn't even get to dance with the lady, but worry not I am sure he won't be disappointed for long. If one leaves, another lands in his arms.

And the games begin..Shree and Liza tried up one on one another and end up dancing with two of the my favorite people. (Love the song😃)

Damn...that was so beautifully done behna, specially the description of Arohi's feelings for Arjun, very well done behna, and I have been waiting for those glimpses for long time now.

oh and those Liza and Shree moments, no words behna, it was so easy to imagine them.

And then the moment into Rosy's head thru her daydream, god behna, for a moment I thought it was all real, but as I read on I realized its not that simple. Just the presence of him nearby his playing havoc on her mind and senses, I can't imagine what it will do to her when she actually sees him. But thru her dreams her true desires lay open, she hasn't given up on him or his love completely. She too wishes to put everything behind her and embrace him.

And as expected he too felt her presence, I had a feeling there would be a moment where they would each feel each other in one form or another and I was proven right. Yes if only Arjun knew that he hasn't lost her, that she was still there within reach, but I know it can't be that easy.

As I said behna, mindblowing update and I look forward to what you bring us next.

Yes like you now I am also getting impatient with anticipation, I can't wait for one or the other to get a glimpse of each other, please update soon, even though I know we have lots to go thru I am still looking forward to future update.🤗
