Let It Snow

"I don't notice the people standing behind me; neither have I competed with the persons standing ahead of me. All I see is my Goal. And everything around becomes obscure after it."
He walked through the white snowy path, leading to the main hall. Chilly currents spent shivers down his spine, making him wobbly in knees. His bones froze, filled with the solid snow, and taking every step towards the brown gate of entrance was very difficult. But the only thing which kept him walking was- his Goal lying ahead.
His eyes were fixed on that metal knob of old wooden door. It was huge with ancient works on it. But more, for him it was equivalent to heaven. And he could not tolerate someone else coming in between him and his goal, not even these chilly winds.
Snow was nowhere sticking to ground, and the storm was getting wilder. He needed to get in as soon as possible. And with his final brave steps he finally reached at the door of that old building.
From its outer looks one can never understand the beauty of this place. Its insides spoke volumes about the shrine atmosphere which it had for dancers.
It was the best Dance institute known. And it was his Goal, his dream.
"Reyaansh, Come here..." came a manly voice. He was the director of this Dance institution and famous classical dancer also.
Rey walked towards the voice and bend down to take blessings from its owner. He felt his heart melt hearing those melodious words in which hard work of years was reflected very clearly.
"Stay Blessed. See this is your rehearsal hall" Said the director, extending his hand to remove the curtains from the door. The hall was huge, enough to incorporate 200 people at a glance. But the special thing about it wasn't its size, but the atmosphere, all filled with an extraordinary vibes.
Rey saw his dream shining in his realities. He was watching the very place he had dreamed, and he just couldn't stop himself from smiling. He saw every possible corner of it, from the window's to the mirrors to the furnished floor. Everything was an exact copy of what he had dreamed.
A replica of his dream, and a ticket for reality of his dreams.
Rey smiled for long time, watching every minute thing happening there.
And there he saw her for the first time. She was dancing in the light peeping in from window. And he felt his heart beat stop.
Her hairs falling over her shoulders effortlessly, her lips sealed with a perfect smile. Her hands placed gracefully above her head, her whole body weight was directed on her one leg, while other one was stretched in a beautiful split.
It was strange for a person like him to feel this way; he never paid any heed to anyone other than himself. But here from corner of his eyes he was continuously watching her dance.
A different contentment filled his mind.
With a snap he got back into reality and he retraced his eyes towards her, but she was nowhere in hall.
He smiled on his foolishness.
But never had he known that this visual treat of hers will become his daily routine.
So his life just started, his racked his fingers through his hairs, while walking towards hostel of Gurukul.

He lay down on his bed sleepless. Only one thought was roaming in his mind, who was she? And secondly why he was thinking about her?
He jumped off from bed helplessly. But he made sure that his inner havoc does not spoil his performances. Tomorrow was going to be special for him. He was going to be introduced to whole Batch of Dancers and Professors. And maybe he could see her again.
He scoffed, feeling stupid about his thoughts. He walked towards the window of his room and simply relaxed watching the chilly snowy landscape. It was like these valleys of Dehradun added a special aura to this Dance academy. Everything seems so beautiful and surreal. The snow here is absolutely white and he could grab the snowflakes by simply extending his palm from his window. Moon here was extra bright. It was a place so different from a world he had belonged earlier. No noise pollution, but soothing sounds of winds blowing along with smell of snow.
His eyes were fixed on the huge moon, until it hides himself behind the clouds. And there he saw someone run through the empty half-lit corridor.
Those eyes were shining in moonlight. Her hairs were flowing gracefully. He can never forget her slightest visual.
What was she doing here at this late hour?
He was confused. She was the same girl he has seen dancing in the hall.
He opened the door to follow her. He ran behind her, until he saw her enter the girl's quarter of hostel.
Where she was coming from?
He was hell confused, but ultimately it was not his matter. He retraced his steps to his room, making sure that no one sees him out at this late hour.

Finally his first day started. He made his way to rehearsal hall, where the director was going to introduce him with everyone. He was dressed in his best clothes with his charming smile. He stepped inside the hall, where already everyone was present and doing their warming up sessions.
The director smiled on seeing Rey enter and he clapped to gather everyone's attention.
"Students, Meet another fabulous talented friend of yours, Reyaansh Singhania. He is the recent addition to this family. I hope you will have a great time with him and help him understand this place a bit more..." the director said.
Meanwhile the director finished introduction; Rey was continuously finding her in the crowd. And his luck was in his favor. He got a short glimpse of her before she hid herself in the crowd.
"Mr. Singh will allot you a partner soon Reyaansh..." Director told Rey.
"Alright Sir" Rey replied, and again continued finding her traces.
While Rey was doing his warming up session, he saw her coming his way. His eyes got glued on her.
For surprise she was absolutely like him, she straight away extended her hand to him and Rey shakes his hand with her with a confused smile.
"Hello Reyaansh...Look I cannot talk cheesy stuff. I just wanna say you that, it wasn't me whom you've seen in corridor last night." She spoke out.
A less he paid attention on her words, but more on the way she was speaking them. A different confidence was evident on her face.
"Alright it wasn't you." He replied casually.
"What is your Na---me?" he asked, in a lower tone as he saw his professor coming his way.
"Oh so you got your partner Reyaansh?" Mr. Singh said eyeing at him and kria.
"Sir we were just..." She popped in.
"No, No it's great. You both can make a great dancing pair. I am impressed. Start rehearsing together." Mr. Singh replied, pleased with the situation. He was happy that he got his work reduced.
But Kria shot an angry glare to Rey before leaving. "Okay Sir..." she hissed.
And Rey stood absolutely cool about it, but what is her name? He was blank. She dances well. But she first needs to understand with whom she was paired. It was going to be difficult for her. He smiled.
His first day ended bit sooner. And the strangest thing was, while rehearsing with her none of them talked. Mere eye connections can't do anything. She would simply look at him with a blank expression, and would speak when it's necessary, just like him. He liked the people who talk less. And she was one of them. It was eye catching, the way she steals glares, the way she dances, the way she pretends to be strong enough, and the way she was interacting with him- through her eyes... He felt like screaming and asking her why she is so different from others.
Her soft and mellow voice was something for which his ears waited. And it just adds to her charm, the way she is so restricted to herself. She was a person to be cared.
But by the end of day he felt a different notion budding beautifully between them. The way they have danced in front of whole batch was something commendable. Two perfect strangers dancing like an eternal pair, it was definitely not normal.
And perhaps this was the notion budding, they were so perfect together, how?
She was perfectly molded for his hard frame. And he knew she must be feeling the same.
But more he was surprised to see this mellow side of him. How can a person so stubborn melt for a stranger and that too so soon?

He sat near his window, cherishing the moonlight making everything shine. He blinked his eyes and smiled. Never had he imagined that this place could be so much special for him. When a whole month got wrapped up here, he just didn't knew.
He got to know her more. Nothing changed between them, just a simple addition that now he knows that her name is Kria.
And now he could witness the effects of his charms on her.
In this month he saw a complete new Reyaansh being molded for her.
With a thud he got back into his senses. Again he saw someone walk hurriedly through the corridor. And he knew it must be her. But where does she go every time.
He stood up determined and followed her with silent steps.
Soon he saw the academy campus being left behind and she was still walking ahead.
Where was she going? He rubbed his temples as the chilly winds strikes him hard.
But strangely he saw her notice him following her but still she continued walking as if she wanted him to follow this time. It felt like she was smiling knowing that.
Soon he saw himself entering a lonely area, filled with snow all around.
And there he saw her stop and smile. She turned towards him and stared at him with warmth, as if she has intentionally brought him here.
"Come..." she said and continued walking in a definite direction.
He was perplexed. Was he being mere a follower and she the game planner?
But soon his confusion got cleared when she stopped near a wooden bridge. She stood still and waited for him to come near.
The moonlight was beautifying each element of night. The chilly winds were still horrifying them. But there was a certain flow of contentment tonight.
He reached near her. She extended her hand and intertwined her fingers with his hard ones.
He was shocked by this gesture of her.
And then she crossed the bridge with him, which ended to a silent valley having a wooden dome adorned with flowers and snow.
He stood numb, witnessing the most heavenly play of nature.
"This place is so beautiful" he said astonished.
"Not yet..." she said with a devilish glint in her eyes.
"Te amo, te amo," she says to me
I hear the pain in her voice
Then we danced underneath the candelabra, she takes the lead
That's when I saw it in her eyes, it's over.
He eyed her questioningly, asking her what she meant. But there she started removing her jacket, then all the sweaters, ending up in her dancing clothes.
Was she serious?
It was so cold here!
How can one dance here?
He eyed her quizzically, was she indicating him to dressed up like the same? But he didn't wait for her to respond, he pulled off his scarf and jacket, ending up into his vest and jeans.
She shivered when a chilly current stroke her and he simple hugged her in order to protect her.
Then she said "te amo"
Then she put her hand around my waist
I told her no, she cried "te amo"
I told her I'm not gonna run away, but let me go.
"So you wanted this?" he whispered in her ears, while twisting her.
She lowered her face, knowing that a pink shade had already taken on her cheeks.
"Yes" she whispered in his ear's, running her hands on his exposed chest.
And they danced, like there was no tomorrow.
My soul is awry, without asking why
I said, "te amo, wish somebody'd tell me what she said"
Doesn't it mean "I love you"? Think it means "I love you". Don't it mean "I love you"?
Under the moonlight he witnessed a new phase and sort of his dance. It included perfection, emotions, but more this time it included Love.
In the snow fall he saw something more surreal in her eyes, a feeling which made her melt in his arms.
And they danced even better than ever.
So this was what she wanted, to make him read all the unread chapters of her restricted life. And he smiled knowing that she was the only reason of his restlessness all the time.
Listen we can dance, but you gotta watch your hands

I feel the love, but I don't feel that way.
She might have read all his thoughts, she might have known the reason they are so perfect together, and she might have seen that hidden desire in his eyes. And she pulled him close to fulfill them. Her cold lips boiled under his hard ones. And she kissed him with whole heart, which he accepted so lovingly and reciprocated the feelings in his way- by kissing her in return.
He knew she won't say it ever, as she only speaks when it is necessary. And right now there was no need of words.
Her breaths and lips said it all, which he understood so vividly.
Then let the snow fall till the dawn, they would dance, kiss, love till the snow sticks to ground.
Don't it mean "I love you"? Think it means "I love you" Don't it mean "I love you"?
It meant "I Love you".
