I forgot to tell earlier that i have made an index on the first page below the prologue.

Before starting I want to apologize for the delay but without any further talks here is the next part.

Part 12

Arnav barged in the house slamming the door shut behind him but not the encounter. Her glimpses had filled up his mind and today not knowing why he was feeling content and angry at the same time. Yes, he had to agree that his di had been right. His kids had grown and he met with them he came to know how things would have been hard for them just by seeing Monty's actions towards them. He was proud to be their father even though it was him who wanted to finish them earlier. Moreover they were innocent and knew humanity. They made him a unknowing friend. And today he met his only soul mate too after heck of years. She was still the same by looks but not for him because he judged her more than that. Her eyes, he felt had cried but still not enough for pouring out her heart. What he hated the most was her new attire...all protected as if she had been betrayed for life. And how could she judge the most beautiful moment of her life as that. She also didn't want to face him. On the new years day she had been furious when he had tore her duppata to free him self and today she too tore it to get rid of the connection. But at that time there was hatred which caused him to tear and now even after they were one, there was hatred? So did it mean that their relation was due to lust and not love?

The whole way twins talked about their new friend.

Karan: He told Monty off.

Aleisha: He was so sweet and adorable and chubby.

Hearing so much about their new friend Shashi who hadn't noticed Arnav finally asked

Shashi: And what was the name of this oh so sweet person?

Karan: His name was...hey devi maiyya we forgot to ask!!!

Khushi: He was Arnav ... Arnav Singh Raizada.

Turning towards the twins, caressing their faces who looked at her with curiosity

Khushi: ...Your father.

And that was that. The once lively car was silent and astonishingly because of the same person.

Anjali had not communicated with anyone since she had come because of the situation and now she felt the urgent need to talk to Naani about what to do next. But not Daadi as that would make the things worse than they really were. After the narration of whole incident what Naani was able to say was

Naani: Sigh. The things have gone worse than before. And now bringing children with Khushi or without cannot solve the matter. The water has crossed the heights. Arnav has married already and has a child too. They have too live without their father now and that is that.

And Naani cut the phone. But Anjali was not done yet. She couldn't leave Khushi or the children here with this taunting world for the rest of their life and let them suffer. She went to Arnav's room. He was holding his head with his hand looking deeply disturbed. And it was not soon before Anjali realized that he had met them. She talked to him straight

We will be leaving tomorrow or day after and I want Khushi and the children with us

But Di you know that...

No I don't know nor want to know anything I just want you to do as I say

She left after that and he would or probably wanted Khushi to be with him with their children and he knew a way for that but while taking the decision he forgot that there already laid a burden of another family. He forgot that he was married even if only for family but he was.

After reaching home the twins had been following Khushi everywhere. And when they finally reached their room they immediately rushed to hug her mumbling small sorrys. Khushi bent down

Why are you asking sorry?

Aleisha: Because we hurted you.

Khushi: And when did I say that?

They both went quite. And she embraced them in a warm hug, trying to forget what she couldn't. Just then her phone rang. She picked up

I want to meet you at the gurgaon site.

The phone was cut. It was not difficult to recognize whom it belonged but she decided to go.

Gurgaon Site.

Both the cars reached at the same time. Khushi came out of the car and told the driver to go and the actions were copied by Arnav.

He didn't wait for her to speak and told her himself

I want the children to shift with me permanently to Delhi. I also have some rights on then and if you cannot hand them to me then give me the money that I gave you earlier when you left.

All this time Khushi hadn't shared a single eye contact with him and had kept looking down continuously but then she lifted her head and spoke after a moments silence

Ok, come and take them tomorrow.

She left saying that.

Arnav thought, So he got fooled again, by her tactics. He had been thinking that she would have been loving them like a mother does but no. If this would have been the case she would have argued with him to let them be with her but she gave away meaning that she didn't treat their children with love.

After reaching home Khushi called everyone in the hall and confronted,

Tomorrow Arnav is going to take Aleisha and Karan with him.

Everyone demanded the reason from Khushi except for the two who kept staring blankly at her. And when everyone dispersed both of them took Khushi to their room and said,

Why are you abandoning us?

Are we not good children?

We didn't even misbehave mumma then why?

Khushi couldn't see them shedding tears from their precious eyes and hugged them mumbling,

Because I want you to be confident and face this world bravely.

Because I want you to have everything that you ought to have, every single happiness.

Karan: But if we get father we wont get you right?

Khushi: You wont get me but atleast he can give you a mother but I cannot give you another father.

Aleisha: Whenever you gave us gifts on our birthday we asked for you for your love and care everytime and you promised to give us and why are you not proving your promise?

Khushi: I am going away from you but trust me you will not regret my decision for you.

They started the packing and at the end of the day Khushi caught Aleisha putting her picture in the bag she stopped her from that and told them that if they treat their new home as their previous one they would love it too.

Next day when Arnav and Anjali went to Khushi they went in the house too. In the roo the twins were holding Khushi hand while she gathered their bags. She climbed over the stool and took a briefcase from the cupboard.

Aleisha asked her

What is in this bag? We packed only two then this third one?

Khushi: After reaching home just take it to your father.

When they came down Anjali had been waiting for them in the hall and Arnav in the car outside. The twins said good bye to everyone when it came Khushi's turn they asked for her actions first. She kissed them on their forehead and hugged them tightly for the last time. Anjali did not expect that Khushi wouldn't come with them but decided to stay calm.

At the end both of them still held her hand ,Khushi had to free hers from their grip. She pushed them to their new phase of life.
