Part 6

The children in the class were having very tough time memorizing multiplication tables as their teacher was about to assess them by a surprise test. However the twins still seemed to be cool and their minds were gripping the facts quite easily. It had all been possible by following Khushi's nuska.

The twins had tried their best to make friends but as soon as their mother's began to know that the twins didn't have father their minds filled up with misconceptions and hence all the children treated them negatively playing tricks to make them feel as uncomfortable as ever, but it was a different matter with the teachers. The liked Karan and Aleisha the most of all children and never accused them of anything as they knew that it was the other children.

Even know when the test was starting Monty and Tina were still prepared to throw a new hurdle. The test was given out to everyone and as soon as it finished the students handed over their sheets to Ms. Sheena. Monty had stuffed a paper of multiplication in Karan's bag while he was out for assembly. He suddenly shouted, "Ms Karan was cheating, see the paper in his bag." "Karan, Aleisha and Monty have scored full but if Karan was cheating then Aleisha must be too so the treat will only go to Monty. But you three have to come to staffroom in the recess."

Anjali opened the file named 'Khushi Gupta' with intense curiosity not waiting to sto thinking for a second. It contained Khushi's 9 pregnancy reports and at the last were punched two birth certificate copies. It was written Aleisha Gupta, Karan Gupta but the father's name field was empty and this was illegal too. Anjali rushed with the files to the head. At first she was angry that why Anjali disobeyed the rules but then Anjali narrated her family relations with Khushi and how their past contrasted but all her pleas went in vain as the head didn't agree to give her Khushi's address or tell the father's name. But Anjali after this information was sure that they are Arnav's babies as their birth year and date if seen can be only if Khushi conceived at the time of her marriage, it was highly possible as one day both of them were not present in the house.

The twins reached the staff room and tried to verify but their teacher was acting stubborn. As soon as Monty entered she shouted at him, "How could you reach heights of such misbehave…. <Monty tried to speak but she cut in between> I know all about your tricks and it was you who cheated as you already read the planner and that's why managed to achieve good marks, but the stars only belong to Karan and Aleisha and you'll be punished for the whole day.

Meanwhile at home strange things were happening the crow was crowing and buaji guessed some visitors would be coming. Garima's daeen eye was flattering and it meant something bad which was to be.

Anjali dialed shyam before reaching the flat which made shyam extremely angry and the moment Anjali stepped home she walked to Arnav (he was taking a call), made him face her and slapped him which followed her shrieks, "How could you leave her in that state?"
