Before Arnav could react to what just happened, he noticed khushi at the door and his eyes widened. He pushed shruti from him. He was dumbstruck at what just happened. The worst thoughts were coming in his mind, no words were coming out of his mouth and he felt as if he is the most helpless persons in the world at this moment.

Arnav: kh- khu-shi. khushi I

Shruti smirked. Finally the climax! Finally her plan has been successful. Finally the barrier is created between Arnav and khushi. FINALLY she's getting what she wants.

Khushi was already in tears and dumbstruck. She didn't know what to say. She slowly walked into the room not breaking the eye-contact with Arnav Arnav and stood between shruti and him.

And then the most expected yet unexpected thing happened.

She turned to shruti, raised her right hand and BAM!

The next thing shruti knew and Arnav saw is the five fingerprints on Shruti's left cheek. Shruti's eyes started widening and stopped when it was as big as a saucer. She looked at khushi with at loss of words.

Khushi gasped and covered with her mouth with her hand.

Khushi: oh! I'm SO SORRY! I didn't mean to do this.

With that she raised her left hand and slapped her tight with her fingerprint on her right cheek.

Khushi: YAP! That's right! That slap on your cheek deserved my left hand.

Arnav didn't know what in the world was going on. Neither he had any clue about what is happening right infront of him nor has he the sufficient voice OR courage to question anything because the expression khushi had in her face was enough for the bravest soldier in the world to forget working with his gun.

Khushi: HOW.DARE.YOU?

Shruti wih her hand on her right cheek looked at khushi still with her mouth agape/

Shruti: what the HELL do you think you are DOING khushi?

Khushi: what the hell in the world do you think it WAS shruti?

Shruti realized Khushi's not even addressing her with what she used to address her by.

Shruti: first of all, talk to me respectfully.

Khushi: oh OH! Do you have something left in you to be respected Shruti?

Shruti: either you have lost your mind or-

Khushi : I have lost it? I HAVE LOST IT SHRUTI? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE TRYING TO DO WHEN I ENTERED THE ROOM?

Khushi spoke with the loudest voice possible shocking Arnav more and more by second.

Shruti: I didn't do anything! You saw everything with your own eyes. I-

Shruti couldn't believe it. She didn't know at the last moment, when everything was going according to her plan, the table will be turned! She could have digested it if it was Arnav talking to her instead. But khushi? KHUSHI? she was dumb enough to believe everything so far. What happened now?

Shruti: look khushi! I have no clue what you're talking about and i-

Khushi: not a problem shruti! Amanji is here to clear your doubt.

Khushi gave a smile at her and called aman who entered the room with 2 cell phones in his hand.

Khushi: the phone.

Aman handed one of the cell phones to her. she did something with it and held it right infront of shruti.

Khushi: Actually no. it won't be a great idea. Sorry shruti. Wait for another 50 seconds.

Khushi turned to aman and

Khushi: Amanji? Plug it to the laptop please. I want this to be seen clearly and perfectly. After all, it holds shruti's respect, isn't it?.

Aman gave her a smile and agreed.

Aman: yes ma'am.

On the other hand, Arnav who had no knowledge of what's going on was even more confused when Aman and khushi started their conversation.

Aman got the USB from his pocket and plugged it into the laptop. And then a video started which dried shruti's throat. Arnav widened his eyes. Aman smiled at shruti and khushi had her dangerous expression on.

The video revealed the conversation between her brother and her.

: how's everything there?

Shruti: it wasn't good till today. Arnav was mad at me for like 3 DAYS bro! he never behaved the way he did the day I left khushi in the caf. He's all changed!

: ya I know. It Shocked me too.

Shruti: i know he didn't care about anyone in the college days but at least he used to talk to me and helped me out with the things although I just used to pretend to be a girl who needs help and stuffs.. But seems like that khushi has changed everything. I can't stand it bro. I WANT ASR!

: don't worry shruti, I hope your current plan is working.

Shruti: I don't know bro. that khushi is way too dumb that she doesn't see my true colour. And made arnav frgive me. But to be honest, Arnav is still all a bit hard on although he has forgiven me.

: that's fine sis! Just make sure you're very careful with what you're doing. Only khushi should doubt that there's actually something between you and Arnav. if Arnav gets even a HINT, you'll be grounded.

Shruti: no he's used to me hugging him and stuffs. But yes I'll try to make the next move soon.

She was way too shocked to even react. How did all these happen? When did it happen? Shruti wanted to break the laptop. She wanted to run and get rid of the upcoming incident.

Arnav didn't stir for sometime. Whatever shruti did was a mistake, he thought, disrespect of the fact that he wouldn't have forgiven her anyways. But what he just SAW had left him with'.. he finally looked at shruti with his fist clenched, glaring at her, throwing the most dangerous looks ever. And she just wanted to CLING to him? She used to pretend in the college days? Of Being so helpless? He had never imagined shruti, one of his closest friends could do something like this. He strated to head towards shruti when khushi started.

Khushi: I'm sure you realize that you're wasting our time shruti? We're waiting for an explanation. So would you please?

Shruti: uhh'' khushi I don't know what the hell you got this from. It'.. it ' it'i- I ' I don't know- look khushi, I didn't try to-

Khushi: you didn't try to WHAT Shruti? YOU DIDN'T TRY TO HURT ME? YOU DID'T LEAVE THE CAF PERPOSELY THAT DAY? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO EXPLAIN? THAT YOU CALLED ARNAV AFTER YOU GOT TO THE HOTEL? Shruti didn't know where to start from. She knew everything? she KNEW all these? From when? And if she knew everything, why did she pretend to be unknown?

Khushi: Ok before you misunderstand me, let me clear it shruti, the slap, the insult you're bearing infront of me, Arnavji, Amanji AND your friends who are standing right at the door is not because of doing these horrible things to me.

Shruti looked at the door to see her five friends who did everything at her beck and call were throwing disgusting looks at her. she was embarrassed than ever!

Khushi continued: No shruti, it was not because of all the horrible things you did to me. I don't even care much about what people think of, talk about or do to me. But if it's something about US, and by that, I mean me and Arnavji, I wouldn't tolerate a single second. So the "insult" was ONLY due to your nastiest, the most disgusting thought about getting MY ARNAVJI! Because of the thought of snatching MY arnavji away from me, BECAUSE OF THE MISUNDERSTANDING YOU ATTEMPTED TO CREATE BETWEEN US.

Arnav looked at khushi and then shruti. What is she saying? Tried to snatch ME from khushi? Misunderstanding?

Khushi: HOW DARE YOU SHRUTI?! HOW DARE YOU EVEN THINK OF GETTING MY ARNAVJI?

He was more surprised AND shocked at the way khushi was talking to shruti. NEVER in Arnav's life had he imagined that his little wife who has been extremely sweet to everyone would talk to ANYONE like that, and the look she had on her face was beyond anything else. But he did enjoy the scene infront of him. Putting his anger at shrtui aside for the time being, he wanted to see what khushi does. So he crossed his arms as khushi continued.

Shruti: khushi there's not such things. You misunder-

Khushi: SHUT UP!

That startled everyone in the room' Shruti, Aman AND Arnav. Never had khushi spoke to anyone in such a loud voice. She was all red in anger and breathing heavily.

Arnav was more worried now. It seemed like she would faint right away. She looked pale yet her eyes were throwing daggeres at Shruti.

Arnav: Khushi! khushi we'll talk about it tomorrow please? You need re-

Khushi: YOU stay away from this Arnavji!

Arnav gulped and sealed his mouth.

Khushi: so far you have seen only my positive sides, my honesty. You never thought of this side of me right? Awww! Guess what?! I'm not done yet!

She turned to aman.

Khushi: get me a pen and a paper amanji!

Aman nodded and went to get it.

Khushi: oh before I do my work, wouldn't you ask me how I got to know all these?

Shruti looked at her with questioning eyes.

Khushi headed towards shruti and stomped on shruti's foot with the pencil heels she was wearing.

Shruti: OUCH! OUCH! WHAT THE-

Khushi gave the most innocent look than ever.

Khushi : O MY GOSH SHRUTI! DID I HURT YOU. O MY GOSH! I'm SO SORRY! I didn't mean to do it, you see. It just happened.

Arnav was at the extent to burst into laughter at the way khushi was trying to intmate shruti. But he realized it's not a great time to do so as it won't be preferable to his own safety when his wife is in such a mood.

Shruti glared at her.

Khushi: So, the other other day Arnav told me that you didn't call him when you got to the hotel. That's when I felt like something's wrong. After all, you had won my trust by saying that you had gone back to the caf and when you didn't find me you called Arnav. oh yes! talking about the cafe, you DID go back to the caf that day right?

Shruti: Of course I did.

Khushi: but the manager of that caf said something else, as far as I remember.

Shruti: I don't know what you're talking about.

Khushi: oh please, don't worry about it. Someone is here to get your memory back.

The manager of the caf entered the room as Khushi called him.

Shruti's eyes popped out seeing him.

Khushi: oh shruti! Why are you sweating? Need a glass of water?

She handed a cold glass of water to her.

And Arnav was too amused at Khushi to say anything.

Khushi: would you kindly tell us what happened in that caf that day?

Manager: these two lady came and ordered. In the mean time, that lady went out and never came back.

Khushi: no manager. You must be wrong. She said she came back that night. Didn't she inquire about me?

Manager: no Ma'am. I didn't see her since that day. And anyways, It was my night shift. I was there all the time till the caf was closed. So I can't be wrong.

Khushi: oh alright. You may go now. Thanks!

Khushi turned to shruti and shrugged.

Khushi: so shruti, what do you have to say about that?

Shruti: YES I DID! I DID ALL THESE! I DID ALL THESE ON PURPOSE BECAUSE I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU FOR BEING ARNAV'S WIFE WHEN HE SHOULD BE WITH ME! HE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU! HE DESERVES M-

Khushi: |Didn't I say NOT to add your name with MY arnavji! Sorry to interrupt, carry on and tell us why you did this.

Shruti: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO SLAP ME KH-

Khushi: I'm the wife of the great Arnav singh Raizada, also known as ASR, a big and well known business tycoon and being the wife of him, I have ALL the right to protect our marriage from any other characterless bimboes who tries to cross her limits. Now carry on.

Shruti was fuming every minute. And Arnav smirked at how khushi that in a flow, without any hesitation.

Shruti: Because I wanted to get Arnav. After the college, he went to the Harvard and got out of my hand. But now that I have got him, I wouldn't let him go. BUT YOU! YOU CAME BETWEEN US! Yes I did try to let you down infront of my friends so that YOU feel like you don't BELONG to him, so that you feel like he doesn't deserve a girl like YOU! Because you are an ILLITERATE BI-

Now it's ASR's time. Arnav took two long strides and held her throat.

Arnav: how many times have I WARNED you not you talk nonsense about khushi?!

He said with his clenched teeth.

Shruti widened her eyes at Arnav's action and started choking.

Khushi started pulling arnav to let her go.

Khushi: Arnavji, let her go. What ARE YOU DOING!?

Aman entered the room to get his jaw dropped at the scene infront of him. His spectacles were about to fall when he held and fixed it.

Khushi: Amanji what are you DOING at the door. Come and help me!

He ran to them and helped khushi out and finally they were successful.

Khushi: Arnavji, have you gone MAD? What were you DOING?

Arnav glared at shruti who was still choking.

Arnav: ONE.MORE.WORD against khushi and you'll regret the rest of your life, I promise!

Khushi handed her a glass of water and made her sit on the bed.

Khushi: are you okay?

Shruti nodded.

Khushi: great! So where were we? Oh yes. umm' amanji? Did you get the pen and paper?

Aman: yes khushiji. Here

He handed the pen and paper to khushi and she turned to shruti again.

Khushi: here this is for you.

Shruti confused: for me?

Khushi: yes! so this is very simple. All you have to do is write "Arnav aka ASR, the great business tycoon belongs to ONLY khushi singh raizada. NO ONE, not even the most beautiful, prettiest, hottest sexiest girl in the world can take her place. And vice versa. I was a characterless bimboe to even THINK of Arnav as mine and now I'm regretting the consequence. I PROMISE, I will NEVER EVER make the same mistake with ANYONE in my life." You got to write this simple line 10 times in each paper and give it to your friends who don't have ny life other than asking silly questions to me. And this is for all of your friends except Purvi. She's smart enough to understand what I said about our relationship downstairs. Anyways, so yes, that's all you have to do And then you're free to go shruti.

WOAH! What was that? Not even in his wildest dream had he thought his crazy little wife could be possessive to this extent. His heart danced with joy at her possessiveness and he wanted to laugh out loud at the same time at what khushi was doing to make shruti realize that he's Khushi's and only HERs.

Shruti stared at Khushi for some time.

Shruti: are you crazy?

Khushi: not yet but I'm sure you will be if you don't obey me.

Shruti: oh really? what will you do?

Khushi: oh seems like you actually have amnesia, Shruti. I still have the video, REMEMBER? I can show it to everyone downstairs.

Khushi smirked as shruti's face filled with shock. She gulped and snatched the paper and pen from khushi and started writing.

After 25minutes, when she was done, shruti handed the papers to her friends.

Khushi: thanks! You may LEAVE now and hope we never meet again shruti!

With that Shruti headed towards the door to see her friends turn and go without her. she turned to Khushi and-

Shruti: F*** you Bi***. I PROMISE you will regret for what you did today.

Khushi: ain't anybody got time for that. so GET OUT, you big fat characterless creature!

And she left. Aman left as well with a smile at khushi's hilarious way to teach a lesson.

Arnav flared his nose at Shruti and took his phone out of his pocket.

Arnav: Aman? Ya do it.

Aman: yes ASR.

Arnav stayed in his position for sometime, trying to digest what side of khushi he just saw.

After sometime, when he realized khushi hasn't moved yet, he went to khushi and wrapped her from behind.

Arnav: Thanks for trusting me.

Khushi who was still all red in anger and breathing heavily turned around, grabbed Arnav's collar, covered his mouth with hers and kissed him like she has never done before. it was like she was trying to take all her frustration and anger through it. Arnav was shocked at her sudden action but he just wrapped his arms around her waist as he pulled her closer. Khushi tightened her arms around Arnav, as if she would never let him go.

Khushi finally let him go and he just stared at her.

Arnav: khushi?

Khushi said with her moisted eyes: You're MINE arnavji.

Arnav pulled her into his chest and soothed her.

Arnav: shh' I'm yours. ONLY yours.

It was the worst day in Shruti's life. Never in her life had she thought, she would have to be embarrassed infront of her FRIENDs who literally were at her beck and call now don't want to even look at her.

She went downstairs to see everyone giving her weird looks, much to her annoyance. What the hell is going on?

Aman patted her and she looked at him. He pointed at the big screen in which a video was played and her eyes were flush open at what she was watching.

The video of her conversation with her brother was being played. How she was talking at khushi's back. How shruti said she can't tolerate Khushi, how she wants to get arnav, everything was revealed infront of everyone in the party. Those who knew her were already glaring and giving disgusting looks and those who didn't even know her had started to speak ill of her at how she had been so intolerable at the wife of great ASR.

"ASR's wife is the sweetest thing ever! Why would anyone even want to DO THIS?!"

"chhii! Disgusting!"

"gosh! Shameless girl. I feel so bad for Khushi"

"Awww ASR's wife loves him so much! I can never forget the speech she gave few minutes back. I wonder how she;s feeling at this moment"

Shruti's mobile started to ring and she picked up.

Shruti: hello?

ASR: told you. One more word against khushi and you'll regret the consequence.

With that he disconnected the call. Shruti wanted to hide somewhere. From all these embarrassment. She threw her phone on the floor shocking everyone more and left the party.

It was almost 12:15 am and arnav was watching cricket with one arm around khushi who was on his chest, sleeping peacefully.

Arnav smiled at what Khushi did to shruti today. "HOW.DARE.YOU. think of snatching MY arnavji away from me". he recalled how she kept saying "MY Arnavji" to emphasize that he;s hers. How she had been zero tolerant at shruti today. how she spoke in her loudest voice startling everyone in the room. He remembered her red, furious face, her noticible outrageous looks were one hell of an expression. Yet her innocence never leaved her face. He had never seen this side of khushi. not even in his wildest dreams. He relized what he means to him. He pulled her close to him and kissed her forhead.

He recalled how he thought he would lose khushi. how shruti had planned everything to snatch him away from his khushi. from day one she had been attempting to do so. What if khushi didn't trust him? What if she actually misunderstood? What if she actually thought there's something between them? after all, shruti hadn't left anything to cling to him at every moment she got. And he didn't even deny. How could he not understand it? How could he let anyone else come so close to him? So what that shruti was one of his closest friends in the beginning? So WHAT he didn't doubt anything before the 'caf incident'. He can't just let anyone other than his wife come so close to him.

He closed his eyes and cursed himself at the thought of how khushi had felt when he hadn't pushed shruti away from him. Yes he did show his intolerance towards Shruti infront of her but sure it wasn't enough. At least for a wife, it wasn't.

Arnav whispered: I promise I'll never let you down. Never EVER! I'm sorry.

With that he closed his eyes only to hear some weird noise.

It was a sound of hiccup. He opened his eyes and looked around him to see khushi hiccupping.

Khushi murmured in her sleep: You-..*hiccup* you're MINE arnavji! *hiccup* this is *hiccup* MY Arnavji! Do you get that? *hiccup* you big fat *hiccup* characterless creature! YOU MORON! *hiccup*

Arnav looked at her concerned written all over his face. She was going through this even in her sleep?

Arnav: khushi?

Arnav shook her only to get snuggled by her more.

Arnav: Khushi? are you okay sweetheart?

Khushi: mmm' Arnavji's mine!

Arnav: Khushi?

He shook her and she finally opened her eyes. He helped her sit on the bed and poured water in the glass and gave it to khushi.

Khushi: wa *hiccup* ter? (water)

Arnav: uhh'you're hiccupping.

Arnav smiled at her late realization.

Khushi took the glass only to surprise Arnav with her bonecruishing hug.

Arnav shocked: Khushi? what's wrong sweetheart? Are you okay?

Khushi started sobbing scaring arnav more and more by minute.

Arnav started rubbing her back and consoling her.

Khushi: you're mine Arnavji! No one can take you away from me. NO ONE! Not even devi maiya.

Arnav didn't know the evening incident could affect her to this extent that even in her sleep, the only thing she had in her mind is "Arnavji is mine". He had been surprised to see the new side of khushi she had portrayed infront of everyone. But he didn't know she was hiding all her fears about losing him and zipping it somewhere in her heart. If he did, he would have handled the situation, not stressing her whatsoever. What Khushi did is what every wife would have done to save their marriage. But Khushi's posissiveness, her fear has made Arnav realize what he means to her. he recalled "the only person I trust blindly is my love, my LIFE, my husband, my hubby, my ARNAVJI". She has not only said that he's her life but actually proved it.

Arnav closed his eyes and soothed her for sometime. Breaking the hug, he made her look into his eyes.

Khushi still sobbing: how'. How dare shruti does something like that with you when ONLY I have the right to do so?

Arnav: khushi? Sweetheart, I ONLY belong to you. You have ALL the rights on me, no one else. No one else in the world can take your place alright? I'm ONLY yours.

Khushi: no *hiccup* one? (no one)

He kissed her nose.

Arnav: NO ONE! Not even the plants in my garden! Promise.

Khushi laughed as arnav wiped her tears.

Arnav: stop thinking about today sweetheart. Why would we think about some nonsense that spoils our mood at 1:00 am?

Khushi thought for sometime and looked at him.

Khushi: I think you're right Arnavji. But you're mine ok?

Arnav laughed and pulled her into his chest.

Arnav: yes sweetheart! I'm ONLY and ONLY yours.

Khushi: and Shruti-

Arnav: -is a big fat characterless creature who has spoiled my khushi's mood.

Khushi laughed: you just took the words right out of my mouth.

Arnav: that's because you have said that million times.

Khushi wondering: have i?

Arnav: hm.

Khushi: and Arnavji, not e-

Arnav: yes khushi, not even your devi maiya can take me away from you. PERIOD!

Khushi smiled and kissed his right cheek.

Khushi: I'm so sleepy!

Arnav: ya. it's quite late. Let's sleep.

Arnav laid on his back pulling khushi on his chest.

Khushi: Arnavji?

Arnav: mmm hm?

Khushi: Have I ever told you that you're MINE?

Arnav: it's your nineth time khushi.

Khushi: oh okay. I'll sleep now.

With that she closed her eyes, snuggling and cuddling to him.

Arnav shook his head and laughed in his breath at the number of times she had repeated the same line. He would never get tired of hearing this in his life.

He was finally relieved that khushi had taken all the nonsense of shruti out of her head. And most importantly, he was relived that she talked to him and let out everything that was going in her mind.

He kissed her hair and closed his eyes.

I apologize for the swearing part. I just had to put that up for a few reasons
