Chapter 110 to 113

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! He met Ekta finally!!! Ok... Now I don't even know how to react! Let me just start from the beginning!
During the car ride with Shyam and Arnav I could feel the tension and apprehension as if I was in the car with them! Shyam's confessions to how he found the car in the isolated area shows the strength in their relationship. He openly admits to his emotions as pain I regards of Arnav and continues to show how they have a deep trust which cannot be broken.
As for Arnav's thoughts... It shows his progression as a character. What used to be his dream and desire (the demise of Yash) has now become what he does not want to occur the most. The main significance comes from the fact that Yash Gupta is second while Khushi is first. Earlier Khushi would have been the only one he cared about but now he feels his bond with Yash and even with Prem. the fact that hissed even goes to Payal shows just how much he has begun to care for that family.
The part that shook me to the core was when Arnav was asking Shyam if this was all just a nightmare. The strong Arnav Singh Raizada still has his own insecurities and looks up to his Jeeju when he needs to be comforted. His desire to want to go back to simpler times makes sense and makes me truly feel for this man who has had his whole world turned upside down simply due to a visit at the Gupta Residence.
When they enter the room, Shyam's reaction to Ekta was expected as he did not know of her being alive. Arnav's reaction shocks me. It was him releasing all his pent up emotions finally letting go of his past. He screams at the heavens for doing such an injustice to him and his father.
I absolutely loved the fact that the room was covered in Arnav and Arjun's pictures! It shows the depth of Ekta's love for both of them and how she never let go of the belief that they love her too.
Arnav telling his mother that she hates her because she left them broke me inside. It's as if he has once again become that sad little boy whose father has left him all alone. He craves for his mothers love and once he gets it... Well he wouldn't be Arnav he simply said "I love you"... A complex man like him gives complex answers which hold so much meaning!
I LOVED the update and now I'm really hyped up for the next one!!

Finally Arnav found his Ma.. Happy..

Wow the most awaited chapter and it was worth waiting. Absolutely amazing, just superb! Brilliantly written and it looked like a movie running in front of me. Pure excellence, awesome!!!!

Dear friends and readers,

I would like to inform beforehand for all "IPKKND?" fans not to read this comment that it truly might hurt your sentiments. However, it is not my intention. As sharing your views here about the new season, and as many of my friends send me PM's regarding the same, I thought I would share my opinion on the sensitive matter here, in this thread.

I am neither supporting season two, nor am I against it

I would like to display two contrasting views of mine, which is not letting me have peace from the day I heard about the news.

Q1) Do I want "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doom? ' Ek Baar Phir"?

Fan in me ' hell no! "IPKKND?" is very dear to me and I would never accept anything under that name without the old cast and crew. If season two gives us an opportunity to cherish the same old magic with our Arnav, Khushi, the Raizada and Gupta family, I am more than okay to watch any number of shows and seasons. But with new cast and crew under that title' f**k off, Star Plus, this is not going to work at any cost.

Writer in me ' why not? If the show promises a new story line, without copying any other shows till date, with interesting characters, I would like to give this show a chance to impress me. As far as the story does its justice and entertain me, introduce new characters and actors to me, when why not?

Q2) Am I going to abandon this show?

Fan in me ' of course, is that even a question? I can never ever watch anything, how interesting it might me.

Writer in me ' not at all. I have no idea about the story and so I cannot say a word about it now. In future, after watching few episodes and after understanding what the story is about, if it did not please me, then I, for sure, will abandon this. But without knowing anything about it and just because it copied the title, then no.

Q3) Am I hurt with the new cast with the magical title?

Fan in me ' are you nuts? I am so hurt that I want to kill whoever decided to use our magical title. In fact, given chance, I will become a serial murder and kill the whole cast and crew of this new f**king serial. Do they not have shame to use it? To use the popularity for this f**king show? It is a total gone case. None, I mean, none of us are going to watch the show.

Writer in me ' are you crazy? Who am I to decide what title the show has to use? I mean, come on, you know what the story is like and if the season one guys gave the title's rights willingly, then, who am I really to oppose the whole show for the reason alone?

Q4) Am I going to accept this "Shlok-Astha" just like "Arnav-Khushi"?

Fan in me ' what the f**k? There is no way anyone could replace my Arnav and his Khushi in my heart, not only this lifetime, but for an eternity. Arnav and Khushi are my couple, my love and my life. with them, I learnt what love is and what trust is. I learnt from them how to love. f**k with Shlok and Astha, they are not going to manage please even an ounce of my blood. It was, is and always be Arnav and Khushi.

Writer in me ' Cinderella is my first favorite fantasy story, that followed by sleeping beauty and Rapunzel. Raj-Simran from DDLJ are my first ever reel-couple. Rahul-Puja from DTPH and Rahul-Anjali from KKHH, KKKG. Armaan-Ridhima, touched my heart with their love story and so are Sid-Ridhima. Every story has its own way and importance and magic and made me fall for the couple more and more by each episode and scene. If Shlok-Astha has their own magic and impress me with their love, may be, they might just add in my list. There really is no comparison between Arnav-Khushi and Shlok-Astha.

Q5) What is my opinion regarding the first promo of the new show?

Fan in me ' copycats, again. I swear Star Plus has no shame or self-respect. They are doing their best to disappoint fans and audience. What the f**k is that promo about? Is there any comparison between Arnav and Shlok? Who the hell is that actor anyways, daring to follow our Arnav's steps, taking his place under his title? Get a life, Shlok dude. You can never survive in this field if you did not back off from the serial.

Writer in me ' actually, I found an interesting character in Shlok. There is something about the promo that made me think about it clearly. That hardly one minute video greatly portrayed what kind of the lead protagonist is. I think I am going to give the show a chance, just to find out who this Shlok is.

Q6) Is there any similarities between the promos of two seasons that disgusted me, or that showed me about the relation between them?

Fan in me ' how many times do I need to tell this? Fine, let me explain then. the very promos of our Arnav Khushi and our IPKKND? Attracted me, made me fall for the couple before the serial actually hired on the channel. I can never ever accept the new serial or its f**king promo. Come on, the new actor cannot even act properly. What the crap is that, anyway? Helping a woman park her car and insulting her? seriously, Star Plus, get some life before we fans killed you.

Writer in me ' actually, I kind of liked the promo, and yes, it is totally different from season 1. Remember that promo when Arnav's car dashes with Khushi and offered money, where Khushi rejected it, saying to offer the same to a person who teaches him how to say sorry. However, here in the new season, Shlok is different from Arnav in every way possible. While that promo showed Arnav to be a ruthless business tycoon who have no respect for others and thinks that money is the only language understood by people. Here, Shlok displayed two facades on him. A playboy types. He, not only helped a girl in the most annoying way, and also literally slapped her with insulting words. And, with the girl in his car, he displayed himself as a guy who respects women and never shows his back to them when needed help. This clearly shows the difference between the lead characters. I cannot really see any similarities between them.

Q7) Why can't they choose another title to simply avoid all this mess?

Fan in me ' that is what we want. Either change the title and carry on with the show. Or keep the title and bring back our IPKKND cast and crew. Do not mix them and create a shitty mess and make us fans abandon the whole channel.

Writer in me ' who are we to decided that actually? Let's be practical for a while. Let's take "Punar Vivah" for an instant example. In season one, "Punar Vivah" that is, is the story about a divorcee and a widower and how they met, married and fell in love with each other, accepted each other along with their families and faults. And stayed together, overcoming every obstacle that came in their path. In season two, "Punar Vivah ' Ek Nayi Umeed" that is, is the story about a couple who are separated for ten years due to circumstances. The man is married to another woman in the mean while and stuck in loveless bond. When the wife challenges the girl lover to make the man settle in his married life first before setting her own life, girl lover takes it and tries to bring the man and his wife close, controlling her own emotions. With same titles, and with almost-same concept of re-marrying and giving love and life a second chance, the stories have very different paths and their own set of characters. I am considering the "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?" in the same way. In actual season, the story is about two star-crossed lovers, with an arrogant and ruthless business tycoon ' Arnav, and a traditional and cheerful and full of life middle class girl ' Khushi. Where, the character Arnav is very passionate about everything and anything in his life. he loves with passion, hates with passion, and works with passion. And Khushi is very outgoing and an optimist. She looks for the best side even in worse situations. Likewise, may be, Shlok, as already said, two facades types, and Astha might have her own specialty, with common factor being "star-crossed lovers".

Thus, two very dear qualities in me are having a clash between their ideologies and interests. Whom am I going to support and whom am I going to fight back? The fan in me? Or the writer?

The only reason for me to post this is, to share my views on the whole issue. Fight for our right, guys, there is no wrong in doing that. But I beg you, yes, I really beg you not to bash on the actors who are taking part in the new show. That really sucks. They are not at fault, do they? Our love and respect for Arnav, Khushi and the entire cast and crew should never ever make us to disrespect other actors and crew in the industry.

The reason for IPKKND? To end was due to Barun's decision, as every source mentioned. He decided to pursue his higher dreams in big screen and the crew ended the serial, respecting our feelings, that we, the fans, made it impossible for them to replace ASR with any other actor. Now, all they are doing is bringin another show, under the same title banner. If they used our Rabba Ve's or Laad Governers, or Rakshas, or Jalebi's, we can make them die and the channel be damned. But without knowing anything, we can't just point at them. My humble request, and the only reason for posting this as said, don't bash or badmouth any actor in this new show.

My apologize for hurting your sentiments. This is really not my intention.
