THE PREDATOR AND HIS PREY
Chapter 8:
It was time for party. The party is held at Raichand Mansion itself. Everyone is getting ready in their own rooms respectively. Arnav is as always in his three suit dashing. Lavanya is in a pink sari .
Nani is very angry with her for wearing revealing dress.
Soon everyone came downstairs. Elders is at the party welcoming the guests. Lavanya is clinging with Arnav where as Arnav and Akash is talking with some business man. Khush and Anjali is entertaining the younger couples. Nani and Buaji is talking with each other. Thakupa and Thakuma is welcoming the couples. Aaradhya and Garima is busy in in arranging the caterers. Ansh is playing with some children. Ashu is talking with his friends. Avinash and Shashi is welcoming the guests.
Ayesha and Payal came downstairs wearing saris. Akash and Ashu looked at Payal and Ayesha dreamingly. Payal was wearing a green sari
where as Ayesha was was wearing a red mixed with golden colour sari. Both were looking stunning. Arnav is looking for Khushi as she is no where to be seen. Soon Khushi came downstairs wearing a red sari with silver embroidery on the body and border of the sari. Khushi came and joined everyone at the party.
Avinash went to the stage and announced: "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Today, this get together is arranged for welcoming my daughter Khushi, My cousin sister Madhu, and my niece Payal after 5 long years. Hope everyone will enjoy the party. Thank u." He concluded his speech. Everyone clapped and started the party.
Everyone is busy enjoying the party. Arnav is glancing at Khushi occasionally. He is not minding Lavanya. Khushi is talking with her friends happily.
He is secretly admiring her.
He is highly attracted towards her. Of course he will be attracted as she is wearing sari of his favorite colour which is red. Her curves is perfectly fitted in that red sari of hers. Her fair and flawless skin is increasing her beauty. She has put her hair loosely which Arnav liked very much. And her soft red plump lips is curving when ever she is smiling. How he wanted to kiss that lips senselessly. He shaked his head from that thought. "Control Arnav! Control!" He thought to himself. "She is Khushi Kuma... no Khushi Raichand ur di's nanand. U can't think about her like this. Besides u have so many other girls who is dying to be with u." He tried to calm himself by saying this to himself.
Khushi also stealing glances at him. He is looking dashing as always in his three suit. "Oops! I have to say thanks to him for saving me." She said to herself. "But how i'm going to say thanks to him? Laad governor! But u have to say thanks to him, after all he saved u. How will i say? I have so many times fighted with him. So what! He also fighted , shouted and screamed at u. More over, he even put ur life in danger. But ur mamma taught u that u have to say thanks when ever anyone helped u. At that time u was Khushi Kumari Gupta, but now u are Khushi Raichand. After all, He is not that much bad. Other wise, y should he saved me? She is battling with her thoughts when Payal nudged at her elbow.
Payal: "Khushi? Where have u been lost?"
Khushi: "Nothing jiji! I was thinking about saying thanks to Arnav ji."
Payal: "What is there to think that much? Go and say thanks to him." With that Payal pushed Khushi towards where Arnav was staying.
Khushi was very tensed. "Y r u this much tensed Khushi? It's not that he is going to eat u alive. Say thanks and come back. Yeah! That's it!"
Where as Arnav and Lavanya saw Khushi coming towards them. Arnav was not sure if she is coming towards him or not. Arnav is talking with his PA Aman and is also stealing glances Khushi. Upon seeing Khushi Lavanya Crossed her arm with Arnav and is glued with him. Khushi came towards them and now she is standing infront of Arnav and Lavanya. Arnav is looking at her. She cleared her throat.
Khushi: "Hi Arnav ji and Lavanya ji!" in a nervous yet confidently she wished them.
Arnav: "Hi! He also wished her back. He is confused at her as y is she talking with him.
Khushi: "I hope u two r enjoying the Party." She told them to which Arnav nodded at her while Lavanya not payed attention. Then Khushi saw Aman Standing with them. She didn't know him so she just smiled at him. Aman smiled at her and introduced himself.
Aman: "Hi! I'm Aman. ASR's PA and u?" He asked in a polite tone.
Khushi: "Hi! I'm Kushi. Anjali bhabhi's nanand." And she looked at Arnav.
Khushi: "Actually Arnav ji... I.. I came here to s.. say t.. thank u to u for saving me today morning at the mall from that goons." She managed to say confidently to which Arnav nodded at her. " Thank u" With that she was about to go but Arnav stopped her by asking.
Arnav: "R u okay now?" He asked her. Khushi stared at him unbelievingly as he always talked to her in rudely. Aman and Lavanya stared at Arnav shockingly as they didn't hear him talking politely with anyone else other than Anjali and elders.
Khushi smiled at him brightly: "Yes of course, I'm fine now." With that she was about to go again Arnav stopped her by telling.
Arnav: "Khushi, Whatever happened at the guest house, I didn't knew about it."
Khushi, Aman, Lavanya looked at him as if he has some horns.
Khushi: "It's o... Okay" She siad to him with a confused smile. And she went away from there. Aman and Lavanya did not ask him much about that as they knew that he'll become angry.
Khushi was smiling to herself by recalling his words. "After all, He is not that much bad." She went to her family and started talking to them.
Soon it was time for dancing. Khush and Anjali, went to the dance floor and started to dance.
Everyone cheered for them. Ashu and Ayesha, Payal and Akash is stealing shy glances at each other. Khushi saw this. Then she became thecupid for them.
Khushi: Come on Ashu Bhaiyya and jiji! Go and dance." She told them cheerfully.
Ashu: "But we don't have partners."
Khushi: "Partners... haan, Ayesha will come with u to dance and Akash ji will come to dance with jiji." She told them happily and winked at looking at Thakuma and Thakupa. They smiled at her reassuringly. While the other four looked at each other shocked.
Thakuma: "Yeah! Choti is correct. Go and dance." She also supported them.
They 4 moved towards the dance floor and started to dance with each other while 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' song is playing in the background. Khushi and the elders cheered for them. Some girls come from the dance floor and dragged Khushi towards the dance floor. Khushi also started dancing with them while the song was 'Salam Namaste'. Soon Lavanya also started daning with them. Everyone started to dance at the song happily.
Arnav is watching all this from where he is standing. He loked at his sister and jeejaji who is dancing happily and at his shy cousin brother Akash and Payal dancing lovingly. Then his gaze moved towards Khushi who is dancing happily. He could see her bare waist as she was dancing. The way her waist is swaying and her long silky hair which is upto her waist. He can't control his desire for her anymore. He is highly attracted towards her. He called his PA Aman and whispered something to his hears to which first, Aman was shocked and nodded at him He lloked towards Khushi and moved to obey his BOSS order. Arnav started to walk towards the dance floor looking at Khushi as a PREDATOR going to catch his PREY.
Suddenly the light goes. Everyone became panic. Every where was darkness. Khushi is looking at everywhere as she could not see anything because of the darkness. Suddenly someone came from her behind and she felt a hand cover her mouth and being pulled away making her startle and try to scream but to no avail as her mouth was covered.
Before she knew it she had been taken away from the venue towards the back side of the house. She then felt herself being slammed up against the wall as the person who had taken her away came in front of her up close so she couldn't move from her position. Khushi can't see any thing as there was completely darkness. It was Arnav who take her from the venue and came towards backside of the house. He removed his hand from her mouth. Before she could scream, the hand was replaced with his mouth. Arnav slammed his lips onto hers in a hungry kiss. With her free hand Khushi tried to push him but failed to push him of her but she kept her lips closed not allowing him access into her mouth. Arnav kissed her very hungrily not really knowing why but he felt like he could do this forever. Khushi was still trying to push him off but instead moved her head back making giving Arnav more access tom kiss her. Upon not opening her mouth Arnav bited her lower lip lightly and she opened her mouth because of the sudden bite. He took it as an opportunity and entered his tongue into her mouth kissed her hungrily. Khushi tried to push his tongue back by moving her tongue but instead it ended up being kissing him. Arnav know that she is pushing his tongue and he is enjoying this, but khushi doesn't know that she is kissing him back. When he felt that she can't breathe because of the kiss, he moved away his face from her and calmed his breathe.
Khushi took this as an opportunity and pushed him through his chest. Arnav moved back because of the force of pushing. She ran away from there to the venue. At the venue Light is not yet come. Khushi came to the dance floor and wiped her lip stick with the tip of her sari and combed her hair with her fingers started to search for Payal and others where as Arnav wiped the lip stick from his lips and cleared his dress and went back to the venue. Upon reaching there he texted Aman to put the light on. Within seconds the light came back.
Everyone looked for Khushi. She is standing there at the middle of the dance floor tensedly. Everyone rushed towards her and asked her if she is okay to which she replied she is okay. She purposefully didn't say about the kiss to anyone as they'll be worried for her.
