Chapter 22 :

Khushi just leaves RM. She is very angry and hurt. She thinks what does he think of himself. He always commands her, No she is not going to fall again for his charms. No matter what she will go ahead in life without him. Saying this she takes an auto and reaches GH.

Here in RM all are sad thinking about arnav. Anjali speaks with NK asking him to speak with khushi. Lavanya hears this and interrupts their talk.

Lavanya(angry) : Di i respect you and ASR. But dont you think that chamkilli deserves love and how could you speak like this Di. U know what she has undergone cuz of ASR. Just imagine if i was treated the same way will you still support ASR, why because she is from middle class. No di. I will not accept this. I am sorry. Chamkilli is coming with us and no one can stop me from this. Not even NK.

NK sees the determination on lavanya's face. for a minute he was concerned for his nannav but then seeing lavanya's face he made a decision to be with his best friend.

NK : Di please give khushiji some time. Please dont make her life a hell. Lets go lavanya, we are getting late.

Lavanya bids good bye and both of them leave RM. NK calls khushi but she does not pick up the call. He then calls GH and buaji receives the call and tells that she has reached home and is making mountains of jalebis. Lavanya & NK reach GH.

In RM :

Arnav was pacing back & forth in his room thinking about khushi. Anjali enters his room and sees him pacing around. She holds his hand and makes him sit on the bed and sits next to him. Neither spoke anything. After a while arnav broke the silence.

Arnav :Di i cannot let her go. I cannot live without her Di. How can she think of leaving me.

Anjali : Let her go chotte. She needs space. I am sure if you give some space she will return back to you. Don't force her. I am sure she is hurt and is angry. How many times i have told you chotte don't make any decisions when you are in anger. Now see your own anger has spoilt a peaceful life. Please chotte give her sometime.

Arnav :Ok Di. I will give her the time. But don't tell me that i cannot meet her.

Anjali nods her head and moves out of his room. Arnav takes a deep breath and changes his clothes and starts working.

AT GH :

Lavanya and NK reach home and they try to change khushi's mood. So they decide to go for shopping the next day, and also to start preparing for their journey. Khushi was thankful that she had such wonderful friends who were with her as her support. They spend their evening having chats and enjoyed their evening.

Soon the week passed. NK had made all the arrangements required for khushi to travel with them. Khushi was spending her time with her family. Though all were sad of her leaving them but they were sure that she needed to do this. In this time arnav tried calling her many times. But she didn't want to distracted. Lavanya had informed them about their journey. She spoke to naani and payal. But didn't bother to speak to anjali nor arnav. Arnav was getting restless as the day passed. Soon it was time for them to leave india. They were travelling on sunday. So for the final time they thought of spending time together. Payal had invited her for lunch and dinner. Khushi, NK, Lavanya, Buaji, Baabuji & Garima reached RM. Payal was happy but also sad. But she knew khushi was in safe hands.

Arnav was silent when he got to know that khushi was coming home for lunch and dinner he made himself free so that he can spend some time with her.

The lunch was a joyful affair with everybody laughing at NK's jokes and knowing NK & Lavanya's Love story. Khushi maintained some distance with anjali and this was observed by everybody. Arnav had his eyes fixed at khushi hoping that she would see him at least once. Khushi who knew that arnav's eyes was fixed on her dint bother to look up at him. After lunch they were relaxing in the living room when khushi suddenly spoke surprising everybody.

Khushi : Arnavji i would like to talk to you alone.

Arnav was surprised but then he was happy that atleast she decided to speak to him. Lavanya & NK looked at each other and at arnav & khushi. Arnav just nodded his head and they both left to his room. All were anxious to know what khushi wanted to speak but then they gave the some privacy.

Once when they reached the room, khushi walked towards the pool area and sat on the chair, arnav silently followed her to the pool area and sat opposite to her.

Khushi : I know you are hurt arnavji. I trusted you and i loved you. I need this space between us. I need you to understand what happens when the person whom you love breaks your trust. I hope u would have felt it when you saw me with shyam. But then i dint hurt you like how u hurt me with your words. U made me an orphan again. Why arnavji? Why you dint ask me once. I would have told you all without hiding anything. Infact i would have married you even if you would have told me the real reason. But then i think my love for you was not enough. I want to be free now.Please let me go. I am not making this decision in anger or in hurt. I want to prove myself and want to make a stable income for my family. Please take care of yourself and your family. Anjaliji needs you now. Dont go into a shell. Please.

Arnav :Khushi i am sorry. I love you khushi. I cant live without you. Please dont go.

Khushi : I know arnavji.I can always see that in your eyes, but then fate had different plans. I need some time please dont make it difficult for me.

Khushi then moves towards him and cups his face. Arnav melts feeling her soft palms and holds her hand to feel her.

Khushi : Arnavji i want to tell you something.

Arnav :Tell me khushi, i am here to listen.

Khushi : I... I.. I love you arnavji. I love you a lot. Please take care.

Arnav was frozen seeing the love in her eyes for him. He pulled her into a bone crushing hug. Khushi also hugged him with all her strenght. She knew she was stubborn but she needed this space between them. Not only for her but also for anjaliji so that arnavji can take care of anjaliji.

After sometime the break the hug, but still holding their hands together. Khushi gathers the courage and leans forward and kisses arnav on his cheeks. Arnav was shocked seeing khushi kissing him. She moves back to see his reaction, but arnav cups her face and kisses her on her lips.

Lavanya was worried for khushi so she made her way to see that ASR doesnt hurt her again. But what she saw made her cry. Two people in love deeply hurt because of one person, are now getting separated. She could see the love in ASR's eyes for khushi which she never saw when she was with him. She silently took a oath to help them build a new life. She dint want to disturb them so made her way to join the others. NK saw her satisfied and happy look and understood that his Nannav was truly in love with khushiji.

It was time for them to leave. HP came to arnav's room and called them. Arnav tightens his hold on khushi.

Arnav: Khushi.. Khushi take care. Please will you stay in touch with me. Will you forget me.

Khushi : Arnavji, please calm down. I will always be with you. I will call you. Please dont spoil your health. Promise me.

Arnav hugged her not knowing how he was going to stay without her. Khushi was crying silently but she had to do this for her family and also for herself. Soon they came down and joined the rest of the family.Anjali dint know what to speak even khushi dint want to speak to her now.She took the blessing from naani, maami & maamaji. All of them crying for khushi. The guptas NK, & lavanya left RM. Arnav was still standing out to get the final glimpse of khushi.
