Thoroughly enjoyed reading about her 'lemon' smell and how she came to smell of lemons.

And of course, bringing back memories of every important moment of IPKKND.

I, too, thought that she was marrying Gautam... and who knew the ring belonged to her mom?

Very cleverly written...

Loved every bit of this lemony and fresh tale...
This was really wonderful. I never thought Gautam would be Payal's fiancee's name. You got me along with Arnav. 😉
But I loved the reason for the lemony smell. This reminded me of the dialogue of Khushi to Arnav in the temple that he will realise one day that everything he did was because of Devi Maiyya "Devi Maiyya ne aapka hath pakad ke likhwaya tha" Here truly Devi Maiyya did it and she even rewarded Aman as promised after Arnav-Khushi's love story. 😉😳

There was something refreshing in the story, much like half of the title of the story...the lemon. While the story of Arnav and Khushi unfolded, the fragrance of lemon stood out on its own, and before long had been wholly accepted as a separate entity, essential to the essence of the story.

I loved that there were many elements in the story that were drawn from the show, but were a shadow of the former. The reason I liked it was because although moments which were painful were present, they were filtered, making the impact easy to bear. The intermittent sorrow, or limes if were to to stick to the metaphor was beautifully balanced by an insight into Devi Maiya's mind.

I had guessed that Gautam was not Khushi's fiance, so was not that tensed while reading chapter 23.

The relevance of the lemon was also a revelation in itself. Though it was not her innate fragrance, nevertheless it did not quite change things for me.

This story is sooo sweet. It should be named under the category feel good stories of arshi. Just a beautiful story revolving around 2 people who are in love. Gr8 work..
