Arnav carried Khushi in his arms again and made his way into the house.He turned to Pooja who was following him sleepily "Chutki you go to your room I will take her to hers"
Pooja nodded and smiled.Relieved at the fact that Arnav is talking to her again.She lightly kissed his cheek "Thanks bhai and again sorry for what happened " Arnav smiled slightly "Its ok.Mom don't have to know any of this alright? Now go and sleep " with a good night Pooja left to her room.
Arnav carried Khushi inside her room and slowly laid her down on the mattress.Her hair covered her face and she frowned in sleep.Without realizing what he is doing, he sat next to her and gently moved her wayward hair away from her face.Her cheeks felt soft and smooth to his touch as he lightly stroked them in the process of moving her hair.. She looked angelic even in deep sleep.
He cant believe those guys bad mouthed her like that.His fists clenched just thinking about it.Just when he was about to step back, Khushi rolled sideways and her cheek fell on his hand near the pillow.
His breath got stuck in his throat as his gaze took in her beauty once again.She was oblivious to everything that had happened around her and was sleeping blissfully like an innocent baby.With a sigh, he gently removed his hand and stood up.
His gaze then fell on her high heeled shoes which were still dangling in her legs.He bent down and removed them carefully.Finally covering her with a blanket, he stepped out of the room switching off the lights.
