Arnav kept his lunch box,which had home made food in it,over table all the while smirking on Khushi's bewildered expressions because of his shameless remark & looked up towards her.She was still in the same position near door.She very well got the exact meaning of his words when he said he was hungry too.It was definitely scandalous for her.But as well,for her surprise she was not hurt this time.She was amused by her brain & heart.Both started working in unison without even her knowledge.Situation was even worse.She started blushing when she thought of few moments back when Arnav had said those words to her.Arnav saw her blushing & it gave him some inexplicable satisfaction.He just loved the effect he was having on her.
"Are you planning to stand there & just look at me?" He said naughtily.
"Hum wo...nahi...aap..." Khushi stammered & looked around nervously.
"Let's eat.It's pretty late."
She was feeling awkward & nervous that he was sharing his food with her.But she was hungry & savory smell of the delicious food tempted her,so she decided to keep aside her shyness.She went over to the table & sat across Arnav on lounge.Arnav placed two plates on table & Khushi served food in them.They started having their lunch.Food was really exquisite & Khushi knew the instance she had her first morsel that it was made by someone who loved Arnav so much.She remembered her meeting with Arnav's sister & grandmother in morning.Though she didn't talk about it.
They were in the middle of having lunch when they heard knock on door.Aman came in with a file after Arnav told him to come in.He looked at direction of dining table in his boss's office & was surprised to see Khushi there.Well these surprises were more often to Aman now but could he question the almighty ASR?Of course not.Aman decided to ignore it & went on with telling Arnav,why he was there.
Khushi was busily gobbling down the tasty food in front of her when she thought something brushed past her legs.She looked up from her plate in confusion but nothing was unusual.Arnav was talking with Aman about something seriously.While Aman listened to him intently.She turned her attention towards her food & again she felt that something touched her foot.This time she looked up at Arnav with shock because she knew it was Arnav's doing.He winked naughtily at her when he saw Aman wasn't looking at him.Khushi's eyes turned saucer shape & a gasp escaped her mouth.She couldn't believe what Arnav just did.Red rose over her cheeks & she immediately diverted her gaze to escape his burning one.She knew he was shameless but this was height.It was now difficult for her to concentrate on food due to Arnav's constant teasing her with his legs under the wooden table.If she had protested Aman would have known their little naughty secret game.Aman left after some time & Khushi sighed in relief.She looked angrily at Arnav who smirked back at her all the while looking devilishly handsome.
"How could you do that Arnavji?" Khushi stood up from lounge & questioned him.
"What did I do?" Arnav asked innocently still sitting over the lounge.
"You very well know what you did." She pointed her index finger at him & said furiously.
"I don't know what you are talking about." He said as if matter of fact.
"You ...you..." She couldn't gather courage to say what he did.
"I what?" He stood up from lounge lazily & advanced towards her.
"You brushed your leg over my leg & you winked at me." She finally said it while going back with his each forwarding step.
"Really." He said huskily & with that final step he pinned her to the door of his cabin.
"Um hmm." She could just whisper due to his close proximity & his eyes boring into her skin.
"There is something on your face." Arnav said & Khushi got self conscious.She tried to wipe her face clean but failed to do so.After a few futile efforts Arnav held her tiny wrists only to make her breathless.
"Wait.I'll do it for you."
Saying so,Arnav bent more towards Khushi & his eyes were concentrated on her lips.She knew what was coming next as soon she saw his eyes turned darker.There was a tiny crumblette of sugarless jalebi right at the corner of her delicious lips which was making Arnav jealous from so long.Finally it was replaced by his lips.It tasted more sweet because of her lips.He took her lips into a full blown kiss before she could even blink an eyelid.He started exploring her really slowly & tastefully like he had all the time in world.No hurry.No worry.Nothing.She closed her eyes & reciprocated him like that was the only eternal truth that exist on this planet.It was all right for her now,for her surprise.She had completely surrendered to him.'Where is that tiny part of me which was there to protest until yesterday?' She wondered. 'Well you are in love.And everything is fair in love.' Her inner voices justified her action.She entwined her fingers in his hair & he sneaked his arms around her curvaceous waist & pulled her more close to him.His torture on her senses made her almost light weight like some feather.All she could feel was pleasure & nothing else.Her cheeks started burning due to excess blush & a moan escaped her lips when she couldn't take it anymore.
Arnav had held her & kissed her after a long time.He was finding it difficult to not go any further with it.She was not helping him either.Instead she was unknowingly encouraging him.Her innocence,her shyness,her soft touch.His hands made their way down her body on their own accord.He so desperately wanted to explore her & he did not wanted to hurt her as well. 'But she is reciprocating.But this is wrong.What the hell Arnav.Since when did you start to give a damn about right & wrong?' Devil inside him asked him. 'May be since I met her.' He was surprised by the answer he got from deep down his heart. 'Well heart.That blood pumping organ.So there are still emotions alive in it or may be they are new found.Whatever.' This was hell amusing for him when he went on with the musings of his brain & heart.The man who followed only his brains was today listening to his heart.He retracted his hands off her waist really slowly & raised them to cup her cheeks.But he refused to break the kiss.He had not had enough of her yet.And it seemed like it was the other way around too.He rubbed his rough thumb over her sensitive skin near her ear & at the corner of her lips & her cheek.Once again lust took over him & he bite & sucked her lip a little harshly with a groan.She hissed in pain & pulled his hair in response.
It would have been proceeded further if it wasn't for Arnav's phone that rang at the wrong timing or say,right timing.Nevertheless they parted unwillingly & Arnav looked down at Khushi with pure lust showcasing in his eyes.Khushi came back to her senses & realized whatever she did just some moments back.She felt happy & sad & nervous & angry.She was not sure why she was happy or sad or nervous or angry.She just was.It was all damn confusing for her.Arnav backed off from her & looked at her for the longest minute before attending the call.Khushi too looked at Arnav while trying to compose her frantically beating heart before going out of his cabin.It was all too much for a day for Khushi.She remembered that she had a file to work on & buried herself into the work she was assigned on,by Arnav in morning.She also remembered that it was her sister's birthday & she have to be there with her in evening to celebrate it.She decided that she will complete it within her work hours at any cost,to be home on time.She kept all the other distracting thoughts aside & merged into her work.
Around 5.30 in evening Khushi was still busy in her work.There was now just a little work left to do.She looked up from her file & looked around her casually.She saw Aakash coming towards her with a smile on his face.She smiled back at him.He came to her table & handed over a cup of tea to her.
"Aapne kyun takleef ki sir?I was just about to go get tea." Khushi said with embarrassment.
"Forget it Khushiji.I know you are working since afternoon without taking break." Aakash said while making her easy.
"Haan wo...Arnavji wants this file urgently.So..." She said pointing at the file in front of her. "Thank you for this tea sir." She smiled widely at him.
"Hmmm.I don't think you are thanking me whole heartily." Aakash said nodding & pushing his specs up his nose.
"Matlab?"
"You call Bhai by his name but I'm 'sir' for you.That says that you are saying thank you just for formality." Aakash said teasingly.
"No sir.I mean Aakash ji.Humne dil se aap ko thank you kaha.Infact when you gave me tea,I felt like my Babuji is taking care of me like back in Lucknow when sometimes me & Jeeji studied late night & he used to come with tea for us in our room." She said seriously. "I wish I had a brother like you Aakash ji." Khushi continued with welled up eyes.
"Wow.Do you really think of me like that Khushiji?I'm really glad & sorry to make you emotional."
"Hum bhi na bilkul pagal hain.I think it's work load that made me emotional Aakashji." Khushi said hitting her forehead in exasperation. "Hey Devi Maiyya." Suddenly she screamed.
"What happened?" Aakash asked.
"I need to complete this fast Aakashji.It's Jeeji's birthday today.I should be home in time." Khushi said worriedly.
"Great.It's Payalji's birthday." Aakash exclaimed in excitement & Khushi looked with surprise at him. "I mean yes Khushiji.You should be there in time to celebrate her birthday." He composed himself immediately.
"Oh no no Aakashji.We don't celebrate birthdays with cake,party & all that.It'll be just simply Me,Jeeji & Buaji." Khushi said awkwardly.
"Perfect then.What did you get for Payalji by the way?" Aakash asked her curiously in order to ease her awkwardness.
"See.I forgot to buy gift too Aakashji.Ab hum kya kare?" She looked up at Aakash while biting her nails in panic.
"Don't worry Khushiji.You can pick up something from our latest collection." He suggested.
"No Aakashji.It's OK.I'll get something on my way back to home."
"Come on Khushiji.I insist.Please."
"But Aakashji...I can't afford..."
"Okay we make a deal.You take anything you like & you can pay in installments.Agree?"
"I don't know...but seriously Akashji it's OK." She said nervously.
"Let's go Khushiji.I'm not gonna listen to you now.And then you have this file to complete too.Hurry up."
Aakash literally dragged her out of her chair & they headed towards storerooms of AR Designs.Khushi told Aakash in the flow of chatting that her sister's favorite color was pink.There was an exquisite pink dupatta hung over a hanger.The instance he saw it,he imagined Payal carrying it with grace & shying looking at him.He smiled while feeling the soft dupatta in his hands.Khushi saw the dupatta & liked it.Both selected it in unison & Khushi was again surprised by Aakash's behavior.Dupatta wasn't much costly too.Khushi told Aakash that she'll pay it off as soon she'll get her salary.Aakash agreed sweetly & they returned back & Khushi resumed her task of completing file.It was almost 6 in the evening & there was still an hour's work was left for her to do.
After some time working hours ended & one by one all the AR employees left.Khushi was still on her duty assigned by Arnav.She had not even looked up since long.She kept working completely forgetting track of time & surroundings.While in his cabin Arnav was keeping track on her every move over CCTV camera screen.Whole AR building was secluded now.There were just three of them including security guard.Arnav saw Khushi shutting the file close in front of her around 7 PM.He saw her yawning & stretching out to be relaxed.She rose her entwined arms up & Arnav's darkest fantasies stirred up.He imagined her in a red saree & a really sinful pose with her arms stretched up to portray her the perfect seductress.Gust of wind was playing with her loose locks.Her delectable bare waist & buttery soft skin urged him to touch it & pull her flush towards himself.He couldn't tear his eyes apart from her lips.He was completely turned on.He feared if he would do something regrettable with her if given a chance.'May be.' Devil inside him smirked.
Khushi packed up her bag & stuff & headed towards Arnav's cabin with file.The lopsided smile on Arnav's face deepened when she knocked on his cabin door.She pushed the door open softly & entered the cabin.Arnav stood & came forward.She gave him file & he kept it on table while fetching his SUV keys from table.
"So do you have any mean of transport to go back home?" He said not exactly looking at her.He knew the answer already. "Let's go.I'll drop you."
He went out of his cabin not waiting for her answer & without looking back.Khushi followed him hurriedly & after some time they were on Delhi streets.Khushi sat in complete silence & Arnav kept stealing glances at her with hope that she will say something.When he got no response from her,it irked him a lot which resulted into his getting frustrated.She never left a chance to get the worst out of him unintentionally & he never left a chance to get his way with her.He braked his SUV suddenly & it stopped with a jerk.Khushi clutched on to the dashboard in front of her to steady herself & looked at Arnav incredulously.He had stopped the vehicle in the middle of completely deserted road & she was clueless about his intention.But more than that she got agitated because she wanted to go home early & was already late because of him.And as if that was not enough,he was hell bent on playing tricks on her by stopping SUV out of the blue.Arnav was looking straight & out of the wind shield.His jaws were set in a line & eyes were stone cold.
"What is your problem?" He suddenly turned & snapped at her.
"What are you talking about Arnavji?" Khushi asked in confusion.
"Why do you behave like this when you are around me?" He questioned her.
"What do you mean by like this?" Khushi's confusion grew some more.
"Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about." He said bitterly.
"I seriously don't know what you are trying to say Arnavji."
"Really!!You talk nicely with Aman.You are all happy & laughing around Aakash.But when you are with me,you are nervous or silent & I see nothing but hurt in your eyes.Why Khushi?Tell me why dammit?" Arnav burst on her.
Khushi looked at him lostly.A turmoil of emotions erupted inside her. 'Because they both are like brothers to me but I love you Arnavji.' She thought. 'And I have seen only lust for me in your eyes.Only lust.' Her chain of thoughts broke with Arnav's angry voice.
"Talk dammit."
"I don't have any answer to your question." Khushi said with welled up eyes.
"Shit." Arnav hit the steering wheel when he saw her almost crying.It hurt him to see her in tears.He was shocked when it dawned on him that her sadness matters to him.He realized that he couldn't see her in pain.
"Okay fine.Now stop crying."
He said looking ahead in to night street & turned on the ignition of SUV.They drove off to Lakshmi Nagar in complete silence after that.SUV halted outside Khushi's house & she hopped down of it after undoing her seatbelt.She turned & left without even looking back at Arnav while he craved to see her face before leaving.As if on queue Khushi stopped & turned to look at him before disappearing in to her house.
Arnav closed his eyes as if trying to store her image in them forever.She stood in front of his vision with open hair & red attire.Her face was glowing with a mysterious glow.There was shyness in her eyes.He threw his head back still closing eyes & dove in to her thoughts.He forgot about his surrounding.He forgot that he was still there on road,in his car & outside her house.He cared less.Only thing mattered at that moment was her.She was the only one who was able to provoke lust in him.She was addictive.She was obsessive.She was the only one who occupied his thoughts & dreams all the time.She made it impossible for him to think about anything else other than her.He opened his eyes & hit the steering in frustration.She had dared to change Arnav Singh Raizada without even lifting a finger.How could he let her do that?The almighty ASR took over him & he accelerated his SUV vigorously.His vulnerability was gone now,unlike when she was around.He decided to sort out this matter soon.Very soon.
