After recovering from the shock, riddhima composed herself and said "or agar mien tumhe tumhara surprise dedoon toh".

Armaan looked at riddhima with confused expressions and asked "what do you mean? Just now you said you forgot to bring the gift didn't you?"

Riddhima with a naughty smile said "I am saying what if I give you your surprise? Don't you understand simple Hindi?"

Riddhima giggled and armaan irritatedly replied her "I understood what you said what I meant was".

Before armaan could speak anything further riddhima interrupted him by saying "good that you understood it, so that means what you asked for as a compensation for the gift won't happen now rather you will get your surprise".

"You still didn't get it? I agree I was angry with you, in morning when you said to mamma that we all will go out for some outing, at that time I was really mad at you and even upset because I wanted to spend some time alone with you as it's our first valentine but then later I realised that it was just an excuse so that our parents don't come to know about the fact that we are celebrating our first valentine. After that I" riddhima stopped speaking as she looked at armaan who was smirking and had an expression as if he won something.

Now riddhima narrowed her eye brows and armaan chuckled at her expressions.

"And you thought to play along and continue with your acting of being angry right?" armaan asked riddhima.

Riddhima was now shocked after hearing armaan.

When his words registered in riddhima's brain she asked "you knew I was fooling you didn't you?"

Armaan chuckled at her condition and said "first of all when I claim to know you I really mean it ok. We know each other from ever since we were born, we have spent hours/days/months together do you really think I wouldn't know what your little brain is cooking up? I knew that you were faking to be angry where as you weren't angry. Secondly when you act very childishly and behave like a baby it's a confirmation that you are definitely up to something".

"I am not a baby ok and it's really bad in fact worst that we know each other so much because it's so difficult for either of us to fool the other not fair" riddhima said while pouting.

"yes you are and I know it's really bad but hey it's not worst ok its good we understand each other so much in future if we fight we'll know what's going on in other person's mind and this will help us to solve our fights" armaan said while looking in riddhima's eyes.

"I know that but hey when you knew I was joking and I wasn't really angry or forgot the surprise then why did you behave like as if you knew nothing" riddhima asked while keeping her hands on hips.

"It's better to hear from one's horse's mouth. I was waiting for you to confess your plans yourself and like you even I was playing along" armaan said and winked at riddhima.

"you know what now I am officially getting angry so I have decided that I won't give you your surprise keep waiting for it" riddhima said while folding her hands in front of her chest.

Armaan shook his head and smiled which was noticed by riddhima.

"Don't smile ok I am really serious I am not giving you your surprise now" riddhima said while pointing her index finger at armaan.

"If you don't want to give me your surprise its ok your choice but then you will have to give me the thing I had previously asked for in return of not giving me a surprise" armaan said with a smirk.

Riddhima gave a glaring look to armaan and armaan chuckled at her expressions.

Riddhima knows that she is badly trapped in armaan's trap but still she didn't lose her hope.

"Don't you think we are in a public place and it's not an appropriate place for doing such things" Riddhima said and showed tongue to armaan.

Armaan giggled seeing her child like behaviour and said "look around do you find anyone".

Riddhima looked around and indeed no one was there.

Seeing her looking around armaan said "it's a deserted place you see there are hardly anyone so it won't be a problem for us to".

Before armaan could speak further riddhima cut him off and said "but it's a nursery I agree not much outsiders will come but forget outsiders I don't even see any worker care to explain".

Riddhima folded her hands in front of her chest and looked at armaan with questioning eyes. Armaan sheepishly smiled and said "this deserted place is my courtesy".

Riddhima stared at armaan for few seconds and asked "I knew it and how much money did you spend on all of this? And most important question from where did you get so much money?".

" Riddhima stop yaar stop doing this interrogation and you are diverting the topic" armaan said.

"I am not diverting the topic first you anwer from where did you get so much money because I know your weekly pocket money was on a verge of becoming nil so kindly answer my question as you see I am damn curious to know from where did you get so much money"

"stop suspecting me I haven't done anything wrong for this money I borrowed from atul bhaiya now can we come back to our surprise" armaan said with a smile.

'Jitni bhi koshish karo iss gadhe ko topic se divert karne ki stupid divert hota hi nahiin ab kya karu mien' riddhima thought.

'Oh toh basket ko lagta hai vo mujhe divert kar payegi kya usse pata nahiin ki kisse panga le rahi hai boht maza ane wala hai aaj' armaan thought.

Riddhima glanced at her phone which vibrated once indicating that a message has come. Riddhima quickly checked her phone and smiled after reading the message.

Armaan narrowed his eye brows at her action and then when he realised whose message it could be he quickly raised his eye brows. Armaan immediately snatched riddhima's phone and riddhima looked at armaan with 'what-is-this' look.

"Is it amit's message?" armaan asked riddhima.

Riddhima narrowed her eye brows and said "hain hai uska message toh".

"Why is he messaging you now? Doesn't he know you are with me?"

"Armaan vo kabhi bhi message kare whats the harm in it and no he doesn't know that we are out together"

"there is no harm but"

"but what"

"but when I am with you, it should be our time no one should disturb us"

"armaan but other's don't know that we are out together and plus anyone can message anytime"

"yes they can but not when we both are together"

"so what do you want that I should message everyone that I am with you so they shouldn't send any message to me"

"haha very funny no I certainly don't want you to tell others about our meeting "

"then how do you expect others to know that we are together and they shouldn't send me any message"

'Mujhe pata hai armaan yeh tumhara hi plan hai mujhe irritate karne ka kyunki miene tumhari gift tumhe di nahiin mien dedeti lekin ab toh pakka nahiin doongi' riddhima thought.

'Dekhte hain basket kab tak tum mujhe topic se divert kar paati ho ghoom phirke tum mere jaal main phas hi jaogi' armaan thought.

"What do you mean" riddhima asked which brought armaan back to reality.

"I mean it's simple use the technology switch off your network then no message will come and especially won't disturb us" armaan replied riddhima and then smirked.

"What if my parents try calling me? If they hear the tone that the phone is either switched off or out of network coverage they'll freak out and then the consequences I am sure you would know better" riddhima said and then smirked seeing armaan confused.

'Armaan baton main kaise ghoomana hai tumhe yeh mujhe ache se ata hai or kyun na aye bachpan se tumhe janti hoon itna mushkil nahiin hai tumhe uljhana (divert)' riddhima thought.

'So riddhima isn't really going to give up so easily I guess I'll have to use my methods now' armaan thought and smirked.

Seeing armaan smirking riddhima understood that he is definitely up to something.

'I guess he is going to use His Way to take out things from me I better be strong enough not to fall for his way's' riddhima thought.

After observing riddhima for some time armaan walked towards riddhima with challenging look. Riddhima narrowed her eye brows and looked at armaan with 'whats-going-on-your-mind' look.

Armaan just smirked seeing her and when the distance between them was of just few centimetres armaan winked at riddhima confusing her completely.

Before riddhima could predict or understand armaan's action armaan wrapped his hands around riddhima's waist and pulled her towards him.

Before riddhima could comprehend what's happening armaan started blowing air on her face and as a reflex she closed her eyes tightly. Armaan smiled seeing her responding to his ways.

"K ky kya ka kar ra rahe h ho" riddhima said while stammering a lot in between.

"kyun acha nahiin lag raha" armaan asked while grinning.

"Na nahiin" riddhima replied while trying hard to control her heart beat.

"Nahiin ka kya matlab hai acha nahiin lag raha ya acha lag raha hai" armaan said and then chuckled. Riddhima shut her eyes more tightly.

Armaan ever so lightly moved towards riddhima's ears and whispered "I like the way you react to my touch".

Armaan bit her ears and riddhima tilted her head giving less space for armaan to do anything. Armaan looked at her face and closely looked towards her cheeks. By now riddhima's cheeks turned red and armaan smiled genuinely.

'So riddhima is falling for my ways? Ab riddhima poori tarah se bhek gayi hai ab poochoonga toh bata degi shayad' armaan thought.

'I know armaan tum kya kar rahe ho or na chahte huye bhi mien phasti jaa rahi hoon. I seriously need to do something so that he doesn't really win oh God His ways are so dangerous' riddhima thought.

Armaan kissed riddhima near her lips teasing her at its peak. Riddhima fisted her hands in order to control herself.

"Riddhima" armaan said huskily.

"Hhmm" riddhima replied.

"Tumhara surprise kya tha" armaan asked again in a husky voice.

"vo" riddhima said but stopped herself on time.

Armaan smiled and thought 'she is a real fighter dekhte hain kab tak chupa pati ho kabhi toh bataogi ki tumhara surprise kya hai'.

Armaan moved towards her ears again and whispered "you looking very beautiful today or rather very delicious".

Armaan kissed her ears due to which a shiver ran down riddhima's spine. Riddhima's fist was getting tighter after every action of armaan, her nails were badly hurting her skin but she was not feeling the pain instead the pleasure which she was receiving from armaan was overpowering the pain and this isn't a good sign as it means she is falling in armaan's trap that too very badly.

Armaan fisted her hair and pulled her head back so that he has enough access to her slender neck. Armaan dipped his head in her neck started placing fervent kisses on her neck.

Riddhima pressed her lips tightly so that she doesn't moan because if she does it she'll officially lose though she knows she is losing but still she can't make it evident to armaan.

"Ko koi aa ja jayega" riddhima managed to speak while her eyes were still shut tightly.

'Aise time pe bhi iska dimaag chal raha hai? Armaan beta boht mehnat lagne wali hai' armaan thought. Armaan ran his hand along her spine seductively and riddhima couldn't control further so she gasped at armaan's action.

Armaan smirked and said in a husky voice "basket mujhe tumhara gift boht acha laga".

"Sa sach sachi" riddhima asked armaan while her eyes were still closed.

"Hain"

Armaan cursed the timing he was so close to know about the surprise but never the less he still managed to get some idea about his gift. Riddhima opened her eyes with a jerk and pushed armaan as his hold wasn't tight anymore. Riddhima quickly took her phone from armaan's pocket and without seeing the caller id she pressed the "On" button.

"Hello" riddhima said in a hurry.

"riddhima miene tumhe yeh batane ke liye phone kiya hai ki ananya or mien thoda late ayenge tu agar bahar kha kea a rahi hai toh achi baat hai or agar nahiin toh miene fridge main armaan or tere liye khana rakh diya usko hamare ghar le ana or tum dono kuch kha lena ok" Padma said.

"ji mamma" riddhima said.

"Theek hai phir mien phone rakhti hoon per yaad rakhna zyada late mat ana andhera hone se pehle ghar aajana theek hai" Padma said.

"ji mamma hum time se ghar pohch jayenge" riddhima replied.

"Good theek hai phir mien phone rakhti hoon bye" Padma said.

"Bye" riddhima said.

'Phone ne saara plan bigaad diya agar aunty two minute baad phone kar leti toh unka kuch chala jata kya' armaan thought.

'I had almost spoken the surprise but how did I fell into his spell when I was so determinant? Am I that week? Or does he really have that charm which can make any girl go week on their knees? Whatever it is I better be careful not to fall for it again anytime soon because I know he'll again use his way I better be strong this time' riddhima thought.

To divert the topic riddhima said "armaan ghar chalte hai padhna bhi toh hai exams paas ane wale hain".

'Acha bahana hai topic ko divert karne ka' armaan thought.

"Arey aise kaise chalo kissi restaurant main jake kuch kha lete hain" armaan said.

'Mien janti hoon armaan tum restaurant kyun leke jaa rahe ho tum vahan koshish karoge poochne ki lekin mien bhi riddhima hoon itni asani se nahiin bataongi' riddhima thought.

"Hain chalo" riddhima said with a smile.

Both armaan and riddhima went to a restaurant and riddhima was surprised as armaan wasn't asking her about the surprise. Armaan knew riddhima won't fall for his trap now as she would be more determined than before so he dropped the idea of asking her as he knew no matter what riddhima will gift him his gift sooner or later.

After eating both armaan and riddhima came back home and were sitting in armaan's room as armaan knew in Gupta house they will meet amit and he too will join them and that's what armaan doesn't want so he brought riddhima in his room.

"Basket aaj ka din end hone wala hai or kal propose day hai oh that reminds me we haven't officially proposed each other and proposing each other on propose day will be mind-blowing, it will be a day to remember" armaan said.

Riddhima was standing near the window and wasn't replying and this made armaan curious so he walked towards her and back hugged her. Riddhima who was busy looking at the moon was startled with armaan's action.

"Kya soch rahi ho" armaan asked riddhima.

"Kuch nahiin"

"jhooti tumhe ache se janta hoon jab moon ko dekhti rehti ho na toh hundred percent kuch soch hi rahi hoti ho ab bata bhi do ki kya soch rahi ho"

"mien soch rahi thi hum kitne ajeeb hai na"

"matlab"

"jaise normal couple behave karte hain na hum vaise bilkul behave nahiin karte balki bachon jaise ladte rehte hain"

"or tum aise kyun soch rahi ho"

"aise kyun soch rahi hoon matlab"

"I mean achanak se yeh khayaal kyun aya"

"pata nahiin bas aya aaj ka din hi dekh lo na hum subha se lad rahe hain or college main jitne log relationship main hai vo log toh aise nahiin ladte matlab miene unhe ladte huye nahiin dekha"

"unhe ladte huye nahiin dekha toh iska matlab yeh nahiin hai ki vo ladte nahiin hai or rahi baat hamari toh hum dost pehle hain or bachpan se jaise behave karte aa rahe hain vaise hi behave karenge na"

"tumhe yeh khayal iss liye aya na ki hum log valentine day pe bhi dost jaise lad rahe the" armaan said and riddhima kept quiet as she didn't know whether what he said was right or wrong.

When riddhima didn't speak armaan spoke "basket hamari relationship different hai hum itne saal se dost jaise rahe hain toh vo adat jane main time to lagega na dheere dheere hum baki couples jaise ban jayenge lekin baki sabki tarah hum ladenge nahiin kyunki hamari ladai bachkani hogi kya kare bachpan se adat hai or adatien itni jaldi jati nahiin. Hamare beech serious wali ladai hogi hi nahiin or agar hui toh hum ek doosere ko itni ache se jante hain ki doosere ki dill main kya hai or kaise manana hai vo hume pehle se hi pata hoga, har relationship different hoti hai isi liye hamari relationship kisi or se kabhi compare mat karna samjhi".

Riddhima smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

Suddenly they heard ananya's voice and riddhima said "ab mujhe ghar jana chahiye mamma aa gayi hongi or ane wale exams ke liye bhi toh padhna hai".

"Mat jao na thodi der ruko na please or tumne mujhe abhi tak mera gift bhi nahiin diya hai" armaan said.

Riddhima started moving towards the door when she turned and said "since you didn't make a new plan to trouble me so that's why I am giving you your surprise. Tumhara surprise tumhare cup board main hai dekh lena" riddhima said.

Armaan started walking towards his cup board when suddenly riddhima back hugged him which startled him.

Before armaan could come out from his startled mode riddhima quickly turned him and pecked his lips and whispered "I love you" and ran from there.

By the time armaan came out from his shock mode riddhima was nowhere in the sight and he just realised riddhima also fulfilled his gift which he asked for as a compensation.
