Riddhima opened her eyes and a smile appeared on her face, because the moment she had opened her eyes she had seen a beautiful big size, white colour teddy bear.
On the teddy, inside a heart shape, it was written I Love You'. Riddhima immediately stood up on her toes and snatched the teddy bear and hugged it tightly. Armaan who was holding the teddy bear frowns after being neglected.
"Oh hello gift miene diya hug uss teddy bear ko kar rahi ho, not fair" armaan said after feeling neglected.
Riddhima looked at armaan with raised eyebrows and asked "It's really beautiful teddy and why should I hug you when I have such a wonderful teddy to hug".
Armaan looks at riddhima with hurted look and says "fine then keep hugging your teddy because I will take it back after few minutes".
"Why will you take it back?"
"Simple reason I bought it so I own it and it will be with me"
"But you bought this for me na so it will be with me only"
"I paid for it so technically its mine you will not get it"
"Kanjoos its for me so I will only keep it"
"Umm no like I said I bought it so I will keep it or rather throw it"
"Throw it but why?"
"You seriously asking me this ok then from the moment your eyes fell on this teddy you forgot about me, you conveniently ignored me didn't even wish me goodmorning. Forgoet goodmorning you didn't even glance at me once and all because of this teddy so I will not let you keep it, I will take it away" armaan said and crossed his hands infront of his chest.
"I will not give you back" riddhima said and showed her tongue to armaan.
Armaan made faces and said "Don't challenge me basket"
"Same to you"
"What?"
"Don't challenge me either" riddhima said and showed armaan her tongue once again.
Before armaan could speak anything riddhima runs towards the washroom along with her teddy in her hands. Before entering the washroom riddhima turns and looks at armaan who was looking sad, riddhima smiles seeing him.
"Check the dressing table and one more thing teasing or rather irritating you is so much fun. Aise mauka mujhe kitne kam milte hain or jab abhi mila hai usse chod kaise sakti thi" riddhima says this and shuts the washroom door with a giggle.
Armaan smiles and shouts back "I knew you were teasing me and for your information I was also teasing you".
Riddhima shouts back from Riddhima shouts back from the washroom "really but i didn't feel like getting teased".
"Yes you did feel when I said I'll take that teddy away from you and throw it" armaan said with a smirk on his face. He was also walking towards the dressing table to see what riddhima wanted him to see.
Meanwhile riddhima shouted back "no I still maintain my previous statement I really didn't feel like getting teased".
"Admit it basket theres no point ignoring or hiding it I read your eyes and for your information they never lie, at least to me they don't lie" armaan said while looking at the dressing table.
Armaan was trying to look for something unique because if riddhima has asked him to check her dressing table then there has to be some peculiar thing for him.
Inside the washroom riddhima was tongue tied because she knows what ever armaan is saying is true. She now has no valid reason to defend herself.
Armaan who was searching for his gift was getting irritated because till now he was unsuccessful in locating his gift and also because riddhima didnt reply him back.
"Yeh basket ne gift kaha rakhi hai dressing table pe toh kuch bhi nahiin hai" armaan mumbled. Meanwhile riddhima quickly dressed herself and came out of the washroom.
The moment she came out her eyes fell on armaan, he was sitting on a chair with a frown look.
Riddhima made faces and then spoke "what's this frown for? You didn't like my gift?"
Armaan looks at riddhima for a second and then starts speaking "to not like it I first need to see it atleast".
Riddhima tried her level best control her laughs. Unfortunately armaan saw that and became angry; his anger was increasing second by second.
"Will you stop laughing"
"Arey but I am not laughing"
"Quit being innocent because you are not I know you were trying to control your laugh"
"Oh so you noticed it? now that you know can I laugh loudly?"
"Dare you laugh loudly and by the way I will get the gift only if its there"
"Huh what do you mean?"
"I mean how am I supposed to find a gift when in reality it doesn't even exist? I will find a gift only when it exists right?"
"I knew you are duffer but today it got proved"
"Huh"
"come with me" riddhima said.
Riddhima held armaan's hand and led him towards the mirror. She made him stand infront of the mirror and asked "now can you see your gift?"
"Is the gift mirror?"
Armaan asked in a confused tone.
Riddhima hits her forehead with her hands and then points her index finger on the mirror. Armaan looks at the pointed area and huge smile occurs on his face.He could see a teddy bear on which his photo was there and on it, it was written "My Teddy".
Armaan was about to turn when riddhima stopped him and armaan gave her a 'what happened' look. Riddhima shook her head in 'no' and said "If you turn you will not be able to see your gift".
Armaan raised his eyebrows and asked her "why".
"The gift is hidden only its reflection is falling here so it means that you can only see your gift through this mirror"
"But that's not fair it's such a wonderful gift and most importantly it's from you I want to keep it with me"
"Then try finding it" riddhima said in an amused voice.
"What" armaan asked as he was bewildered hearing riddhima.
Riddhima smirks and seeing that smirk on riddhima's face armaan knows something is fishy.
"Well yesterday night someone was so hell bent on playing treasure hunt with me so I thought I should play the same game with that person" riddhima said while grinning. Armaan looked at her with shocked expressions.
"You can't be serious basket"
"Oh too bad because I am serious and by the way since you left arrows for me to make things easier or rather I should say difficult for me so I will leave you with the treasures reflection try figuring out or rather trace out from where the reflection is coming" riddhima said.
Riddhima crosses her hands infront of her chest and gives a challenging look to armaan.
Armaan looks at riddhima and says "fine I accept your challenge and after college I will definitely find it".
COLLEGE CANTEEN
Armaan and riddhima walk inside the canteen and walk towards the table where gang was already sitting.
"Oye message karke canteen main kyun bulaya class nahiin attend karni" armaan asked rahul.
"Class has been postponed it's after two hours now"
"Toh why you guys still here lets go to the nearby mall what say" riddhima suggested.
Everyone nodded their head in agreement and went towards the car. They all enter the mall and start roaming around the mall. Riddhima's eyes fall on beautiful dress and she stops to have a look at it.
Riddhima was staring at the dress when someone's whisper brought her back to reality "You like it".
Riddhima smiles as she knows who this person is. Armaan who was walking ahead realised riddhima isn't with them that's when he stopped and looked behind and found riddhima starring at something.
Riddhima looks at the dress dreamingly and says "hain".
Riddhima looks at armaan and smiles. Armaan who was looking at the dress too looks at riddhima and smiles. They look into each other's eyes and soon the world becomes oblivion to them as they keep staring into each other's eyes.
After few seconds their trance was broken by the noise made by their friends. The gang who was walking ahead had stopped in front of pizza hut to eat something and that's when they realised armaan and riddhima were missing, so they walked back and started searching for armaan riddhima.
Finally they found them and muskaan shouted "Oye tum dono yahan kya kar rahe ho".
This brought armaan and riddhima back to reality and they start looking in all direction except at their friends. The gang had seen them staring at each other so all of them have a grin on their faces. They look at each other and gesture each other to say something.
Armaan and riddhima did notice this and they too looked at each other and gestured each other to be prepared as they know what's going to happen next.
"Yahan kya ho raha tha" muskaan asked in a teasing tone.
"Kuch bhi toh nahiin" riddhima replied immediately.
"Oh really then why is your face red" nikki asked instantly.
After hearing this riddhima looks everywhere and tries hard to control her blush.
Armaan looked at riddhima and immediately spoke in her defense "tum logo ke comments ka asar hai".
"You sure hamare comments ka asar hai because we feel ye tera yun usse ghoorne ka asar hai" rahul said in a mischievous tone.
"Ghoorna Kaun ghoor raha tha" armaan asked innocently.
"Arey khul ke bol hain ghoor raha tha tum dono husband wife ho ghoorne ka license hai tum dono ke paas" abhimanyu said.
Armaan looks at abhimanyu and gives a forced smile "tu help kar raha hai ya marwa raha hai".
Armaan whispers this so that only abhimanyu can hear it but unfortunately everyone hears it and starts laughing. Armaan riddhima both turn red and look down at the floor as if searching something precious.
"Chalo lets eat something and then let's go back to college to attend rest of the classes" abhimanyu said and everyone nodded their head in agreement.
They ate some snacks in pizza hut and then went back to college. After college was over they went to library and made notes for their exams. After finishing their work they exchanged their notes and went back home to study further.
RIDDHIMA's ROOM AT 10 PM
Riddhima was studying when she heard a knock at her door.
"Mom miene apse kaha tha na mien yeh topic khatam karke khana khane aa jaongi toh aap upper kyun ayi" riddhima asked while marking a line with a highlighter.
"Tu darwaza toh khol dekh armaan aya hai"padma said.
Hearing this riddhima immediately closed her books and opens her door and saw armaan was standing with her mother. Riddhima looks at armaan and raises her eyebrows, riddhima gives him what-are-you-doing-here' look.
Before armaan could reply padma started speaking "vo armaan ko kuch doubts hai toh usne mujhe phone kiya tha permission lene ke liye ki vo abhi aa sakta hai or miene usse hain kardi. Armaan tumne khana khaya" padma asked armaan.
Armaan nodded her head in 'No'.
"Theek hai phir mien tum dono ka khana yahan upper hi bhijwa deti hoon padhai ke saath saath khana bhi khate rehna" padma said.
Both nodded their head in agreement and padma went from there. Armaan smilingly enters riddhima's room and went towards the mirror. Riddhima closes her door but doesn't lock's it.
"Now tell me the real reason, why did you come here?" Riddhima asked while her hands were folded in front of her chest. Armaan looks at riddhima and then back at the mirror.
"Tum bhool sakti ho lekin mien nahiin"
"huh"
"Mujhe vo teddy chahiye toh usse dhoondne aya hoon tum padho mien araam se apna 'treasure' dhoondoonga or hain tumhe disturb nahiin karoonga"
"Ok fine as you wish" riddhima says and goes towards her table and starts studying whereas armaan starts searching for his treasure.
Riddhima who was studying wasn't able to concentrate on her studies as armaan was continuously moving from one place to another.
From past half an hour armaan was just moving from here to there trying to figure out the actual place of the treasure through this reflection and was failing badly.
Even though he wasn't disturbing her but still she was getting disturbed due to his constant movement. Finally she gave up and closed her books and looked at armaan.
"Armaan will you stop it"
"what"
"You are disturbing me"
"But I am not disturbing you"
"Yes you are"
"How? I haven't even talked with you nor I am constantly bugging you for a clue then how am I disturbing you?"
"By moving from one place to another its not letting me concentrate"
"Toh mien ek jagah beth kar toh nahiin dhoond sakta na"
"toh phir mat dhoondo"
"arey aise kaise na dhoondo miene shart lagayi hai"
After ten minutes Padma knocks on riddhima's door and both armaan and riddhima look at each other. Armaan immediately rushes towards the study table and picks up any random book and starts behaving as if he was reading it from long time.
Padma enters the room with a tray in her hands. She smiles seeing armaan and riddhima engrossed in their studies and silently wishes inka rishta aise hi dheere dheere masboot hota jaye or jis bandhan main yeh dono bandhe hain usse samjhe'.
Padma keeps the tray on the study table and looks at armaan riddhima "isse jaldi finish kar dena ok".
Both armaan and riddhima smiles and nod their head in agreement. The moment Padma leaves riddhima stands up and walks toward armaan.
"Aaj bach gaye tum kissi din marwaoge"
"bach gaye na aage bhi bach jayenge"
"whatever now I hope you have given up"
"give up and me? No chance"
"vaise mera badla poora jitna tumne mujhe tarpaya utna miene tumhe tarpa diya" riddhima said and armaan made faces.
"I have already figured out" armaan announced and riddhima was shocked hearing this.
"What"
"Yeah you have used double mirrors to hide the original position"
"when did you find it"
"Just now when Padma aunty kept the tray" armaan said and winks at her.
"Good now if you are done then leave" riddhima said and showed toungue to him.
"Well abhi nahiin I seriously had a doubt in one particular topic first explain me that then I'll leave"
"ok fine batao kaunse topic main problem hai" riddhima asked armaan.
Armaan picked up another book and showed her the topic.
Riddhima sighs seeing the topic "it's complicated anyways lets start".
Armaan smiles and then both of them start studying. After an hour both of them sigh and close the book.
"That was one hell of a boring topic"
"I know, but its good we finished it isn't it armaan?"
"Yeah now before exam we'll just have to go through it once"
"Yeah" riddhima said while arranging the books on the table.
"Waise riddhima barah (twelve) baj gaye hain"
"hain toh"
"arey aaj promise day hai" armaan said and riddhima turns.
Riddhima looks at armaan confusingly and armaan smiles. Armaan holds riddhima's wrist and pulls her infront of the mirror.
"Since aaj promise day hai toh mien tumse ek simple sa promise karna chahta hoon" armaan said and riddhima raises her eyebrows.
"I don't know if you'll find it cheesy or not but all I want to say is jaise bachpan se saath main har gam/dukh or khushi baati hai vaise hi saari zindagi batenge. Mien hamesha tumhe khush dekhna chahta hoon or tumhari saari wishes poori karna chahta hoon. In aakhon main sirf khushi jhalakni chahiye gam nahiin or mien har kadam pe tumhare saath rahoonga' or tumhare liye yeh" armaan said while giving her a packet.
Riddhima open's that and was shocked to see the same dress that she was admiring in the mall. She looks at armaan and says "yeh".
Before riddhima could say anything armaan placed his index finger on her lips, preventing her from speaking anything.
"Sshhh jaise ki miene kaha mien tumhari har wish poori karna chahta hoon or in aakhon main sirf khushi dekhna chahta hoon, aaj mall main tum isse jaise dekh rahi thi yeh toh pakka tha ki tumhe yeh boht pasand thi toh bas khareed liya tumhare liye Or hain agar tumhe lag raha tha ki mien koi special emotional speech doonga on this promise day toh bhool jao that doesn't go with my character huh" armaan said, he could see riddhima was becoming emotional so he thinks to lighten the moment.
Riddhima smiles and hugs armaan and says "I too promise to be with you in every up or down of our life".
Armaan hugs riddhima back and after few seconds they break the hug. Both says goodnight to each other and armaan leaves for mallik mansion. Both slept peacefully that night as this is how their relationship is, both find solace in smallest of things; they don't behave like usual couple, simple promises and gestures by anyone makes the other person happy and content.
The day passed quite quickly as everyone was engrossed in their preparation for exams.
Though rahul did made a silent promise infront of god that whether muskaan is in his destiny or not he always wants her happiness and god should keep her happy.
On the other hand nikki promised herself that she'll tell abhimanyu about her feelings in the upcoming trip and wished for his happiness.
SOMEWHERE IN A ROOM
"Hain plan ko execute karne ka sahi waqt mil gaya" said a person.
"Kab" asked another person on the phone.
"The upcoming trip" said the person.
"You sure you'll be able to manage it and don't need any help" asked the other person.
"No I don't think I'll require help but I'll analyse the situation and if I find it's perfect I'll execute the plan or else we'll have to wait for another opportunity" said the person.
"No we can't lose this opportunity make sure things go fine ok" said the other person.
"I'll try my level best" said the person.
"Ok" said the other person and cuts the call.
"This trip is going to be fun" said the person and laughs.
RIDDHIMA's ROOM at twelve in the night
Riddhima was studying when her phone rings; it was a message by armaan
A: aaj hug day hai chahta toh tha abhi aa jao tumhare ghar hug lene but intezaar ka phal meetha hota hai aisa suna tha aaj dekhna chahta hoon ki kitna meetha hota hai
R: koi meetha weetha nahiin hoga :P kyunki mien tumhe hug karne hi nahiin doongi aaj
A: acha? Phir se challenge :D baar baar kyun harna chahti ho :P or abhi trip bhi aa rahi hai ghar se door hum tum akele ;)
R: akele kaha hai dost hain na :P and goodnight and sweet dreams
Armaan smiles and mumbles "This trip will be fun but pehle yeh exams toh khatam ho jaye".
Armaan sends riddhima a goodnight message and sleeps.

In the next part i shall finish the valentine week along with exam and send them to the trip😉 and the much awaited twist shall start from then😃 I know many are getting worried for AR's seperation i'll just say it will be an interesting track and you'll enjoy it 😉 eekkkss I too am excited to write my much awaited twist 😆 ever since this FF started i was waiting for it to come but had to develop a foundation for it nd finally the time comes for the twist😳 I hope it turns out interesting nd u all love it😳
