HIDE AND SEEK - Chapter 34

The world under Akash's feet was shook as he realized who had called and what had the other person implied!

All he could register was that Di was in danger and he or Arnav could not do anything about it. He stumbled backwards to be caught by Payal and NK and a frightened Lavanya looked at everyone not understanding how to deal with the situation since she was the youngest. After not getting a response from Akash, Payal had sent Lav to call both Arnav and Khushi. She carefully kept his head on shoulder to get him out of his shocked state where as NK called home. However their worry increased when no one at home picked up.

Amidst all this chaos Arnav and Khushi were blissfully unaware of the situation and sitting together in the balcony enjoying the cold air and the freshly brewed coffee when Lavanya came banging on the door. All Khushi and Arnav could understand in her blabber was that something had happened to Akash after a phone call and that Anjali Di's life is in danger.

They ran back to Payals room to find her shaking Akash back to reality and NK frantically trying to call someone.

Arnav crouched down and held his friends face in a gentle grip, never had he ever seen him broken like this before, only ONCE when his parents had died but NEVER after that.

"Aki whats wrong, talk to me bro."

"Arnavvv.." came his chocked voice, "Di..."

"Di what damn it!"

Arnav Singh Raizada was not one with much patience and the thin line of patience he had was now on the verge of breaking.

"Rodger burned down our factory and apparently Di was in it."

Arnav couldnt believe what he heard from Akash, it was as if someone had shaken his entire world. All he could register was that Di was in danger. A moment ago he was running after Khushi thanking God for have sent her in his life to have come down crashing on the ground that there was alot of danger lurking on their backs.

The same moment Nk's call got connected and Rishab confirmed them that Anjali was fine. Arnav snatched the phone not realizing what danger this could get them into.

"Dad hows Di."

"Arnav shes fine beta, please take care of Khushi"

This made Arnav realize what his dad actually meant and he gave NK the phone back.

However the moment he called his dad he was informed that Anjali was safe and had only gotten slightly hurt. During this course of time his call with his dad was recorded and someone on the other side of the world now knew of their where about.

It took them an hour to stabilize Akash, NK and Lavanya got something to munch for the night since everyone decided to stay in one room. Khushi made tea for everyone, she had decided to be strong for Arnav, she kept thinking of ways to get Arnav out of his anxiety but failed miserably.

In another corner of the world Rodger was celebrating his frst victory.

"Its time to get you back Khushi". Rodger said in a menacing tone. he was extremely happy, Shyam had done his work well. He knew Arnav would call his father as soon as he hears about his sister and it would become easy to track the duo. Anjali however was just collateral damage but he also noticed Shyams interest in her. NO he could not let this happen, he had to finish Anjali before Shyam developed feelings for her. After all she was Anahitas daughter, it wasnt hard to fall for her.

Hey guys, i know its a short update but now updates will be frequent, hope u liked it though it was more of a filler update. I really wanted to show how strong their relationship is getting, all 6 of them. A little precap in the end and also the link to Apartment # 304 a fun story i had started.
