Chapter 5

The pheras were over and the bride and the groom were now doing the rest of the rituals with contentment on their faces. Khushi could actually imagine herself in Payal's place with Arnav on her side by the way he was behaving now a days. Her laad governer was so unpredictable. Urgh, it was kinda hard to understand him because of the mask he always wore, but now she could see the mask fading a little and Arnav coming out instead of THE Arnav Singh Raizada.
The wedding was over and the after rituals were getting started.Sadly for Arnav, he had to move away from Khushi as he didn't want anyone to know anything before he was sure of everything himself.
Arnav was standing next to Anjali who was jumping around half in excitement and half because she didn't have a lot of time to get everything ready at the door for the Garh Pravaish of the newly wedded couple.
Out of nowhere Hari Prakash came to Arnav and asked him "Bhayyia do you know where Khushiji is?"
"Why?" Questioned Arnav suddenly very interested in the conversion.
"There's a letter for her" replied HP
"I'll take care of it" said Arnav happy at getting an excuse to talk to Khushi.
Hari Prakash simply handed the letter to Arnav and walked away to enjoy the wedding.
Arnav was getting more curious by every passing second as to who sent this letter? What's in it?, Why did they send it? All his answers would be answered if he opened the letter and read.
He was about to open the letter when he remembered what he learnt in school, not to read people's personal stuff.
He was not a kid anymore, he was not afraid of getting caught anymore so he again started to open it but his fingers stopped thinking that what if it was something he wasn't supposed to read.
Forget it! He told himself and again touced the letters corner but how would Khushi react if she came to know that he read her personal stuff on purpose.
So Arnav Singh Raizada was stuck in between in his curosity and Khushi.
The devil AKA The Arnav Singh Raizada on his left told him to read it and the angel...ummm well change that to the nicer version of Arnav on his right told him it was bad manners.
In any other situation Arnav would not give a damn about manners and just do what he thought was right and that would definately be the wrong and the evil option but this was no ordinary situation just because it concerned Khushi.
Finally Arnav came up with a solution. If the paper dropped on the floor, opened, then that wouldn't be my fault and I can also read a few lines to get an idea of the subject thought Arnav and patted himself mentally for being so clever.
So, Arnav dropped the paper on the floor after unfolding it and bent down to read it. Normally, this would be considered as a totally ridiculous act but right now it was needed.
'Meet me at the terrace in 15 minutes' read Arnav. He was confused now. So, he decided first to clear the confusion and so he planned to check the terrace for this mystery person and then he'll still have enough time to tell Khushi about it.

Terrace - Raizada Mansion
"Khushiji I knew you'd come! I knew it! I love you Khushiji, more than anyone can ever! I'll leave Rani Sahiba forever for you! We'll be together" Said Shyaam with a freakily emotional face on. No Shyaam! Come on, bring the emotions out! Bring out some more feelings! Shyaam mentally said to himself.
He had been standing on the beautifully decorated terrace dressed in an all red kurta and pyjama. He looked worse than usual in red which he wore often. Anyway, he had been rehearsing this one piece from ages. He wanted to get it right. So, he twisted his face a little more, twitched his nose a little and started again with his act , he still had time. Anybody who would look at him would find this flipping creepy but the creep found it emotional and so he went on again.
Busy with his rehearsel, Shyaam Manohar Jha failed to Witness two people standing at the entrance. One was literally on fire and the other was on the verge of strangling him to death.
And that's how the snakes future was decided...
