The Next day…..
The Rai Prakash House was in a complete chaos….. People running from here to there….. Gautam shouting over the phone….. Rashmi instructing the cook….. Rey getting mad at the decorators….. Aashi running to get some other arrangements….. Neha and Rini getting the flower decoration done….. Simi trying to calm Gautam and instructing the person on the phone….. But no one noticed Sharon and her long face….. She was sitting on the dining table thinking about Swayam…..Being the bride she was not supposed to contribute in any of the arrangement but just sit.. While handling Gautam Simi happened to notice Sharon.. She excused herself and went to her..
Simi (tapping her shoulder): Hey Shar tum theek ho?
Sharon (low tone): Yeah I'm fine!
Simi: It's your mehndi today….. Aren't you excited?
Sharon: Yes for sure I'm excited
Simi: Aisa lag toh nahi raha….. Waise Swayam bhi aa raha hai! Usne Rey ko abhi bataya…..
Sharon's face lit up and she immediately looked at Simi
Sharon: Kya?! Swayam aa raha hai?
Simi: I knew it….. Phir se tum dono ke beech kuch hua hai! And yes he is coming!
Sharon excitedly hugged Simi…..
Sharon (in mind): Aaj Swayam ko manana hi hoga!
Rashmi interrupted her thoughts
Rashmi: Aare Simi jaldi lekar jao Sharon ko aur tyaar karvao.. Sab guests aate hi honge!
Simi: Yes aunty!
Simi took Neha along with her to get Sharon dressed up.. Sharon wore a beautiful netted mehndi green saree with rust and gold work only on the borders.. The pallu had minimal zari work complimenting the border.. A halter neck blouse and no jewellery except for an elegant pair of ear-rings.. She even avoided much make-up.. just a deep line of khol and lip gloss.. She got seated in front of her dressing table as Neha and Simi were doing her hair.. Simi glanced at Sharon she saw her yet in the same mood..
Simi: Kya hua Sharon? Swayam tumse ghussa hai ya tum usse?
Sharon: Woh.. Woh.. Swayam..
Neha: Neha saying jhagada karne se love growing!
Simi: Haan but hua kya?
Sharon: I over-reacted!
Simi: Phir toh main Swayam ke side hu.. Bichara jab dekho tab tumhare ghusse ka victim bann jaata hai!
Sharon: I know! And Simi main waise bhi bahut guilty feel kar rahi hoon toh please aur mat guilty feel karvao!
Simi: Ok ok! But agar ghussa hai toh baat karo uss se!
Sharon: Woh baat sune tab na! Kal se baat karne ki koshish kar rahi hu! Na toh phone uthata hai, aur na hi messages ko reply karta hai! He is just avoiding me!
Neha: So what! Swayam bhi toh running tumhare piche piche when you angry!
Simi: Neha is right! Tum jab ghussa hoti ho tab Swayam never gives up.. So now even you shouldn't give up so soon..(teasing) Come on ya tumhara would-be husband hai, you should know the exact ways to convince him!
Sharon turns into a deep shade of red as both her friends keep on teasing her.. Soon she gets ready with some of her hair pinned up neatly and the rest left open.. Simi and Neha were ready so they walked Sharon down as all the guests had started coming.. Simi got Sharon seated where they had four of the mehndi ladies ready.. Sharon selected one of the most classy designs for her hand and feet.. And continued sitting there like a statue.. The girls along with Rey were busy attending the guests and also checking on things simultaneously..
After a while entered the groom with his parents, Taani and all the boys.. Swayam wore a white kurta with a deep v-cut almost till the mid of his torso.. It had some silver work on the edges.. Sleeves gathered up till his elbow.. And the killer look of his hair gelled back and tied in a tiny pony .. and not to forget the sexy white Jaipuri mojari's with matt finish☺️.. He looked simple yet killer.. If no one would have known that he was the groom, Swayam surely had his chances wide open!!😆
Sharon looked at him and lost herself.. She was continuously gawking at him.. Swayam felt someone gaze on him so he looked around for the source.. He stopped as he found himself drowning into her love once again.. He was got back to land when he felt a strong hit on his shoulder..
Rey (whispering): Tension mat le kuch dino main tu jitna chahe usse ghoor sakta hai!
Swayam: Abbey chup oye! Aur kitna chidayega!
Rey: Ek baat bata tu kyun ghussa hai Sharon se?
Swayam: Tujhe kaise pata? Kuch bataya kya usne?
Rey: Nahi subh se dekh raha hoon, uska face dull hai.. Iss liye guess karna mushkil nahi tha!
Swayam: Nahi kuch nahi! Chod na baad main bataunga!
Swayam was avoiding looking at Sharon as he had to carry on with his plan.. But there Sharon's eyes were glued to him.. She saw him interacting with all the different people present.. then he went and sat with all their friends..
Sharon (in mind): Swayam se baat karni nahi but kaise? Itne saare log hai.. Soch Sharon soch!!... Idea!
She immediately called Simi and murmured something in her ear.. Simi grinned and left.. By then all the girls had beautiful designs on their hands.. Sharon's mehndi had taken the longest for obvious reasons.. Simi and Rini went to the boys who were chatting in one corner..
Simi: What's up boys!
Nil: So finally tum girls ka yeh mehndi lagana ho gaya!
Vicky: Haan yaar pata nahi inn sabko iss main kya maza aata hai?!
Bharat: Phir kya pehle paise barbaad karo phir time!
Swayam (tapping Bharat's head): Abbey isse shagun mana jaata hai!
Simi: Kya baat hai! Swayam tumhe toh sab pata hai!
Swayam (pulling his collar): Aur nahi toh kya!
Rini: Haan toh yeh bhi pata hoga ke hum ladkiyo ko ab tum boys khaana khilaoge!
Boys: Kya?!
Nil: Par kyun?
Simi: Oh come on Nil! Mere haath main mehndi lagi hai (making a baby face) toh tum mujhe khaana nahi khilaoge?!
Vicky: Wah ladkiyan khud karnama kare aur hum saza bhukte!
Swayam: Abbey Vicky chup baith! Aur iss main saza kis baat ki?
Rey: Haan haan! Tujhe to Sharon ke saath time milega aur tu usse khilayega toh woh saza thodi na hui!!
Swayam: Oh please aisa kuch nahi hai!
Simi: Swayam I guess tumhe jaldi Sharon ke paas jaana chahiye, usne lunch ke baad kuch nahi khaya aur 2 hours se udhar hi baithi hai!
Swayam: Kya!! Tumne pehle kyun nahi bataya!
Swayam left with a jiff leaving behind a giggling Simi.. All the boys plan to feed their respective girls.. Sharon had purposely gone to her room once the mehndi application was done.. Swayam had served a plate for Sharon and was looking out for her when Rashmi told him that she was in her room..
As Swayam entered the room he saw his angel struggling with her hair.. A strand was dancing on her face which was really irritating as she couldn't put it back in place.. He smiled as he saw her attempts failing miserably.. Sharon felt his presence and looked at him smiling back at her.. He immediately wiped off the smile and walked in with a tray with her food and a glass of water.. He settled next to her and forwarded his hand to tuck the strand back in place but avoided eye contact..
Sharon: Hey! Kya baat hai aaj mujhse baat karne ka bilkul mann nahi hua? Itna ghussa ho?
No response
Sharon: Swayam!
Swayam (coldly): Tumhe khaana khilane aaya hu bas aur kuch nahi!
Sharon (hurt): Aur kuch nahi?!
Swayam (same tone): Nahi!
Sharon: Mujhe bhook nahi hai!
Swayam: Sharon apna irritation khaane pe utaarna band karo!
Sharon (apologetically): I'm sorry.. Mujhe pata hai maine kuch jyada hi over react kar diya.. Sorry!
Swayam (coldly): Hmm
Sharon: Swayam please na! I'm sorry! Please mujhse baat karo!
Swayam: Pehle khaana khaalo..
Sharon (looks away): Nahi khaana.. Mujhe bhook nahi hai!
Swayam (in mind): Yaar itne cutely sorry bol rahi hai lagta hai natak idhar hi end kar dena chahiye! (to Sharon, with love): Sharon!
Sharon (with tears): Nahi Swayam I know I was wrong.. Main harr baar tum pe choti choti baat ke liye ghussa ho jaati hu aur tum hamesha sorry bolte ho.. this is not right na! I'm sorry and I promise aaj ke baad aisi choti choti baaton pe main ghussa nahi houngi! But please tum mujhse ghussa mat raha karo.. I don't like it when you ignore me! Main galti karu toh tum mujh pe chilao but please don't stop talking to me!
Swayam saw the tears and rushed to wipe them.. He sat on his knees infront of her..
Swayam (cupping her face): Hey! Stop crying! Main tumse ghussa nahi hoon! Tumse kabhi ghussa ho sakta hu kya?! Please rona band karo.. Aur tum apna irritation mujhpe nikal sakti ho after all tumhe hakk hai but itna toh trust karo ke I will never do something to hurt you! Ab please rona band karo.. I can't see tear in your eyes.. Please!
As she show no signs of stopping those tears he pulls her into a hug.. Obviously he was cautious of not ruining the design on her hands and legs.. She hid herself in his chest and smiled between her tears.. He kissed her on her forehead and looked into her eyes with all his love.. Soon when she has stopped he sat back in his previous position and held out a bite..
Swayam: Ab toh khaa lo!
Sharon eats with a wide smile.. As she was eating Swayam wiped off the tears with the back of his hand and smiled..
Sharon: Waise today someone's looking handsome!
Swayam: Hmmm.. After all Sharon Rai Prakash ka would-be husband jo hu (winks at her and she turns into a deep shade of pink)
Swayam: Aaaye haayee! Agar aise hi blush karti rahogi toh bahut jald ghayal ho jaunga!
Sharon (blushing): God Swayam! Tum aur tumhare yeh cheesy dialogues!
Swayam: Oh hello madam! Issi cheesy andaaz pe lakho ladkiyan marti hai!
Sharon: Mind it Mr.Shekhawat! Dare you use these dialogues infront of other girls!
Swayam: For that I have to look at girls! (dreamingly) Aapse nazar hatte toh dusri ladkiyon pe jaaye na!
Sharon: Kya baat hai aaj bade romantic mood main ho!
Swayam: Ab kya kare kuch dino main tumhe Mrs.Shekhawat jo banana hai bas ussi ki khushi samjh lo!!
The pink shade on Sharon's cheeks had no signs of leaving.. He continued with his cheesy talks and she couldn't help but blush more and more.. Luckily their fight ended before their sangeet.. Now the sangeet is going to be a grand celebration for sure!!!
