everyone likes the redemption track =/
anways, why?
is it the concept of arnav's way of winning her back (i call it that, not 'redemption'... or it sounds sooo WEIRD) , or the word?
First of all, 🤣 - if this is going to be the tone of the so-called redemption track, bring it on! I loved the first chapter. The humor is high altho Arnav ends up looking a bit of an idiot.
Secondly - lemme explain why I hate the word redemption - it means a price has to be paid for acts committed as remission for the said act. This is the true meaning of the word redemption. However, here on the forum - it usually meant an Arnav who would cry and grovel at Khushi's feet. Heck no! ASR does not cry and he does not grovel. He wouldn't be an alpha male if he did. What he does do is action. Take steps to remedy the wrong or go ahead and do it right in the future.
Which is why the past had haunted him so much - because he knew he couldn't fix that wrong. With Khushi he knows he can fix it. So he throws his all into it - to FIX the wrong. Not apologise for it, because lets face it - apologies are usually hollow without the honesty to act through on them.
So thats one big old explanation of why I hate the word 'Redemption' in this context. But if you say - its wooing Khushi back, I'm settling down on my couch with my bowl of popcorns ready for the treat. And looks like that's what you are doing... !!
