the sister informed them to retire to the room and khushi would be shifted there within minutes!!!
they nodded and walked back to the room to get suprised!! arnav was sitting there inside the hospital room with his head leaning against the back rest!!!
his eyes were closed and few tear drops were still near his eyes!!
anjali smiled looking at him and entered while the others stayed outside giving the siblings some space... as when khushi is not there there was just one person arnav was open to and it was his di
anjali walked closer to arnav and sat beside him... she placed her fingers on his shoulders breaking his trance in the dream
he looked up and laid his head on her shoulder
anjali held his hand and : chotey!! you have become a papa!! its your princess afterall
arnav tightened his fingers holding anjali
anjali: you din see her coz you wanted to see her with khushi na
arnav nodded
anjali smiled : you know chotey when you were small you were so protective over ma.. so much that even you din let nani enter her room... then after maa.. i never missed anybody chotey!! you took care of me more than even dad could... you were an amazing brotherrr
then khushi ji.. i never knew you could show so much love on anyone till i met her... again you proved to be a perfect lover and after marriage .. khushi must be the one girl who cries to go to her mothers place
arnav smiled
anjali: and even now madam has to have a surgery but not a bit of fear!! i have never seen a smiling patient into the ot .. never
arnav muttered: pagal di she is
anjali: no chotey!! trust .. love... that nothing can go wrong when you are here...
and see only you were so sure it was a girl... and now .. looks like your gonna prove again!!!

anjali replied imitating him don do that di .. and the siblings burst into smiles when the ward boys entered the room with an unconscious khushi in the stretcher
anjali smiled and dropped a kiss on khushi's forehead: the only time she's gonna be silent
arnav sat by khushi holding her hand: and the only time i can talk to her di
anjali smiled as nani buaji and others entered ..they congratulated arnav giving him chnaces to blush
again... they sat for a while and then entered the adjacent portion of the huge room for guests l
eaving arnav by khushi... the kid was to be received from new born ward once the mother opens her
eyes
arnav sat holding her head and caressing her hairs and dropping kisses every now and then... he
kept seeing the clock hoping her open her eyes.. it was becoming impatient for him to see his kid as
well as khushi talk!!!
GOD how he missed her blabbering
luckily for arnav the anesthesia lost effects early and khushi slowly opened her eyes after a few shuts
and opens finally looking into a worried pair of eyes!!
arnav squeezed her hand and khushi fluttered her lashes gesturing him to come closer
arnav went near as khushi softly and slowly spoke out: it was a princess right???
arnav's eyes escaped a tear and he smiled nodding his head
khushi smiled
arnav leaned closer and pecked her lips softly and : thank you khushiii

just then anjali entered and seeing her awake alerted the family.. nk immediately set out to get the baby from the newborn ward!!!
the others walked forward congratulating and exchanging pleasantries with khushi as she kept smiling
payal and anjali gave kisses to khushi at a time on her cheeks making her squeal with delight
akash entered after getting a few medicines and went straight to hug his brother and congratulated khushi
khushi kept looking at the door and it was obvious !!!
khushi could sit up a little with arnav and payal's help...
khushi weakly: di.. i want to see my baby.. all of you saw
anjali: khushi... not all.. your laad governor is waiting for you
khushi looked at di surprised as payal told her that arnav had left wanting to see the kid first only with you
as tears rolled down her cheeks arnav pulled her close and bent whispering in her ears: me and princess had a deal.. the secret this morning
khushi remembered the morning and blushed
nk entered the room holding a sleeping baby wrapped cutely in a soft towel...khushi and arnav's heart beats raised so hight that the family could feel their happiness right away...
nk walked closer and placed the baby in khushi's hands with the help of anjali
khushi was lost of words as her hands shivered holding the little angel in her arms...
she looked up at arnav who was dumbstruck seeing his princess!!!!
khushi looked at arnav: arnavjiii... our baby!!!!! she is our baby!!!!
arnav nodded still too struck for words...
khushi looked at the little angel again...
her soft glistening black hair looked just like khushi's ... little cute fingers.. with perfectly
complementing soft little toes...and the skin texture making her looking perfect for the name
ROSE... she had cute lips like arnav
khushi lifted her a little close with buaji's help...
the little one who's heart was beating with hers... who fed herself in the womb with what she ate ..
who breathed the air her mother provided resting safely inside in a total different world kicking her
mother often making her eagerness leap no bound was now.. right here right in her hands... she was
a mother... she had become a mother
and the feeling was not something she could explain.. the ever chatting khushi searched for words as
they seemed to have lost way in the joy she was feeling...
seeing the new parents the entire family was dumbstruck in silence each observing the reactions...
arnav kept looking at his princess constantly
finally nk broke the silence: see na khushiji this baby is gonna be another nannav.. it din open his eyes only..
anjali let out her chuckle: hmm.. right nk bhai had it been khushiji it would have started talking right from birth
khushi held the baby closer with the help of nani and slowly kissed it's nose and the baby broke out crying scaring poor khushi who jerked a little making anani and buaji chuckle at her
khushi: my ladoo... this surely is arnavjii.. see its crying if we pamper it...
arnav smirked through his tears
nani noticed arnav not holding the kid
nani: chotey don you wanna lift the kid
arnav hesitated: what if he held it wrong ?? they say babies are tender and should be handled carefully
he has never handled oneee.. he din want to hurt his princess!!
khushi looked at him: arnavjiii hols our princess na... she will want to meet her papa...
the baby cried loudly
mamiji: HHBB... princhesss even now not opening eyes.. stubbornwa like our arnav bitwaaa
all smiled as arnav was still hesitatinggg
buaji: haire nandakishore.. arnav biwaa... don be scared.. hold your rajkumari...

khushi looked at arnav: arnavjii.. you want to meet her na.. don make her wait long... i am here na... see i think she is crying coz her dad din hold her even once till now
arnav slowly raised his hands and slowly touched his daughters cheeks with his index finger...
he immediately drew back his finger and looked at khushi: khushi... my myyy
khushi smiled: your daughter arnavjii
as if arnav had a magical touch the baby immediately stopped crying and looked as if it was smiling with its fast beating heart as if to signify how happy she was with her dad's touch
khushi: ahhh... how sweettt... di .. nanheji jijaji nani.. see how she is smiling after arnavjiii touched her
the entire family was surprised and could not help but smile at arnav who was admiring his kid with his cute expressions himself...
he could resist no longer and slid his hands beneath his princess along with khushi... the baby smiled more stopping crying much to surprise of all...
khushi slowly transferred the baby to arnav;s hands
arnav felt a shiver of joy go down his spine as he held his princess... her tiny hands hitting his chest as it continued to give the smile like expression...
arnav looked at khushi as if to ask her if he can kiss the baby
khushi smiled and placed her hand in his shoulders...
she had never seen arnav like this ever before and to know the reason behind that joy was her was all that a wife can ever want!!!
khushi: beta.. your dad is here... open your eyes na...
but the eyes remained shut still...
khushi sulked cutely
arnav finally found his words: princess wont you look at your daddyyy
and as if she was waiting for this the little bundle of snow slowly opened one eye still shutting the
other...and as khushi peeped in holding arnav's hand to see it immediately opened both its eyes twinking brightly seeing
her parents together giving out a cute smile like expression...
arnav was thrown into splits of joy and as if a kid had got its candy screamed out
arnav: khushii... see she opened her eyes... she saw me... khushi... see... di... nani.. she opened her eyes...
the baby kept looking at her excited father with half open eyes... it felt as if her looks were peircing
the bag of unknown joy hidden in his heart unknown to him
the entire family was so glad to see back not just the princess but also the dad who was born with her
khushi wiped her tears and peeped in and just in time the angel opened her other eye lookin straight
into the eyes of her parents with her glistening eyes speaking volumes...
khushi: her eyes are just like yours arnavjiii
that one first look from the baby to her parents seemed to have melted the entire world for them
anjali: nani... not just the parents but even princess would see only her parents first together
the entire family watched the new parents cuddle their heaven in hands with tears in their eyes passing ooha and aahs of their little darlign... they left the room giving the new parents some time
arnav: khushii... see... my baby... khushiii
khushi could see the excitement in arnav's eyes and voice.. she felt she was seeing a different person ...
khushi: i told you na arnavjii... princess knows her dad ...
arnav smield and kissed khushi on her forehead: i love you
khushi snuggled closer into him: i love you too
and arnav bent down to peck her lips when a loud cry escaped the baby's mouth and they saw its little
fingers swimming in the air as if to reach them too... and arnav and khushi kissed their kid together
whispering we love you tooo and smiled as khushi snuggled into arnav who was still
holding the baby cradling it with his hands...
he had become a proud papa on day one itself afterall with his little princess showering her love to him
specially and of course to her mom too..they sat there watching the priceless gift from heaven grinning
and beaming with happiness and pride shining in his eyes!!!... A HEAVEN IN DISGUISE AFTERALL

so guys its gonna be fun from the next update!!!! this shall be a light hearted story totally focussing on arshi and their Daughter mainly arnav!!... so no twist plots etc!! a story of just love a father has for his daughter and the pride the daughter gives back to him!!!!
