I am so in love with this story... Loved the way Anjali has taken care of her life & is looking forward to it... Her not moping over a useless Shyam is such a welcome relief... Also, good to see her being concerned over Arnav's welfare, nice to see her behaving like an older sister for a change also... 😊

So Arnav is really taking his "woo Khushi" job very seriously... Loved the way he bought her mother's kangans back for Khushi in the last chapter, & in this chapter loved the way he resolved to get to know his Khushi better, what better way than to get it straight from the horse's mouth a.k.a Payal... Was mighty thrilled to see Arnav offering help to Khushi about her accounting rather than berating her or ridiculing her efforts... Would have so loved to see this on the show...

Also was impressed with the way Payal was concerned over her little sister... Loved the way she asked Aakash about it... The way she gladly helped Arnav was really sweet... You know the more I read your story Mints, the more I feel I wish the CVs had given IPK this kind of a track rather than seeing a jhalli Khushi all the time, got so annoying...

Arnav is going all out to please Khushi by inviting her family over for small informal family get togethers... He really is trying to bridge the gap between the two families... Nice job. 😊

Finally, the chaat party was perfect... Seeing Khushi's reaction was so cute, & Arnav drooling over her eating gol gappes was so lovely... I totally get though where Khushi is coming from her fears are quite valid... Given Arnav's history, she has every reason to be wary of him...

But I also loved the way Arnav came & told her that he has not given up on their marriage & neither will he sit back let things fall apart... He will do everything he can to make sure their marriage stays together & he & she both find their happiness in each other as well as for their families...

Lovely chapter Mints, keep it up. 👍🏼

wonder if the families will ever get to know what Arnav did to Khushi

i totally do not blame Khushi for not being able to trust him again, who could after all that..he still prioritises his family over her..now he is making the effort but ain't it a little too late

but ofcourse she will forgive him

First of all thank you so much for including me in your thank you note amongst others, appreciate the gesture very much. Also your story is a pleasure to read, so the least I can do is leave a comment.

However coming to the update it was Fantastic and brilliant, simply amazing.

Love the fact Anjali has come out a lot stronger after the Shyam situation and it's nice that she is actually worried about Khushi.

So Arnav decided to speak to Payal to find out more about what Khushi likes and to get to know her better, a very wise move by Arnav.

Awww bless Khushi was so happy and she could not take her eyes of her mothers kangan's she was wearing, Khushi even realised her Dhak Dhak had returned whilst she had hugged Arnav, so sweet.

Arnav decided to talk to Khushi and wanted to know more about her business, it was nice of Khushi to open up and speak to Arnav.

Wow, loved Arnav's idea of organising the "chaat party" such a sweet gesture, loved khushi's reaction when she saw the golgappe (I am so craving for them now), it was so funny.

Khushi asking Arnav why he is doing all this, loved Arnav's response it was superb and so heart warming, hope Khushi was slightly affected as she did have tears in her eyes.

Loved the update, an amazing read.

Eagerly waiting to read the next part,

ANJALI'S PRAYER...I am happy as I can possibly be,
Happiness is a state of mind truly.
The trauma is now a thing of the past,
Even if some may say it's too fast.
My heart and soul are back with me,
Faith and trust had been broken fully.
Indifferent I am to the man I'd married,
All my attention on the child I carried.Love and hate can coexist together,
Towards him, I feel nothing however.
It seemed to me a complete waste of emotion,
With him, I had broken every connection.
A marriage was built on strong foundations,
Love, respect and trust along with passions.
Without these, there was only emptiness,
Relief I feel at freedom, I do confess.

The orphanage children are my source of joy,
My work brings respect that I truly enjoy.
There is only one blot on my happiness.
That is, Chotte and Khushi's marital mess--
With all my heart, I want them reconciled,
It has been long since they had smiled.
Selfishly I want them to be together,
In love and always there for each other.

Chotte had tried to speed up the case,
Worried I am at what we might face.
That dirty lowlife would surely blame Khushi,
Scared I am at how badly hurt she would be.
I pray now with utter sincerity,
To the heavens to protect my family.

Read all the chapters together last night.

Good story line.

Your writing makes it a pleasure to read.

The characters are complex and come with their baggage but liking how you're taking it forward.

Looking forward to read more of this.

This was beautifully written. Again!

The way you write this story and shape up the different characters makes me want to wish that the show should've at least run on similar lines, instead of giving the stupid sheetal track and the contest track.

There are so many amazing tracks that could've been shown. So many writers on this forum have written it, including you.
Sigh. It's not gonna happen. Ever.

But atleast I get to read Khamoshiyaan.. It makes me happy!

Oh and I loved the banner :)
