T: Sir, please, you know everything, then why are you sending me there

Ashu [Ashutosh Sir]: I know, Taani, and you know I wouldn't be sending you there if it was not important. You and your team are the best people that I have, and I need you guys on this.

T (sighing, knowing he is right): Yes Sir, I understand, we will leave tomorrow

Taani came out of her boss's cabin; she took her phone out of her pocket and dialed the all too familiar number.

Ring ring

Person: Hello

T: Hi Bhai

Sw: Hey Taani, how are you?

T: I'm fine Bhai, how are you?

Sw: I'm fine, how's work?

T: Actually Bhai, I called regarding that only, I'm coming to Mumbai, and my office is submitting a tender for a very prestigious project there, so my team and I have to come to Mumbai for that.

Sw: You're coming to Mumbai, finally, after so long, I'm so happy. I miss you little sister.

T (smiles): I miss you too Bhai, I'm coming tomorrow with some colleagues.

Sw: Great, text me your flight details, I'll pick you all up from the airport.

T: Bhai, you don't have to..

Sw: No arguments, I'm picking you up, that's final.

T: OK Bhai, I'll text you, Bye Bhai

Sw: Bye Taani.

Mumbai

Swayam hung up the phone and walked back into the rehearsal hall to face the rest of his professional dance group, D3. Right when he entered, he was questioned by his wife angrily.

Sh (angry): Who was on the phone, that you left rehearsal, and why are you smiling so much?

Sw (very happily): It was Taani, she's coming to Mumbai tomorrow.

Gang: WHAT?

Everyone was shocked, especially Rey; no one had seen Taani in 6 years, since she left Mumbai. They all got updates about her from Swayam and Sharon, about how she was working as an executive in marketing in a firm, however she was not in contact with anyone else besides Swayam and Sharon. Rey had not had any contact with her since their break up, she had left soon after that, and he had never got a chance to tell her the true reason behind the whole break up and what he truly felt for her. However, he did manage to tell Swayam, which had repaired the strain on their friendship.

In the last 6 years, Rey had thrown himself in his work, to run away from his broken heart, but what he was really running away from, was himself. Sometimes, actually all the time, he wished that he never even had that stupid break up idea, then she would still be with him. But he could not change the past, therefore, he changed his future, the fun loving Rey was gone, the serious Rey had taken his place. He kept no social life besides the gang, and that was also more due to professional ties. The gang permanently tried to get him back to his original self and are still trying, however have not succeeded so far.

Rey snapped out of his shock when Swayam continued.

Sw: Yah, she has to come here for some project. So she and some colleagues of hers are coming to Mumbai tomorrow.

Sh: That's great Swayam.

She was dreading this day for 6 years, she knew she wouldn't be able to spend her life in hiding, she knew that she would have to return one day, however, even though 6 years had passed, she still wasn't ready for this. She took a deep breath, and stepped out of the terminal, into the arrivals section, and scanned the group of people, looking forward to the only face that she did want to see, her brother's. Finally her eyes saw him; he still looked the same long and messy hair, casual shirts, exactly the same, who would say that he was married now. She started walking towards him and she did not know when her walk changed into a run and she ran straight into her brother's waiting arms.

T: I missed you Bhai

Sw: I missed you too Taani.

Sh: Hey, what about me?

T (leaving Swayam and hugging Sharon): Hi bhabhi, missed you

Sh: Missed you too Taani.

Taani broke apart from Sharon and remembered her colleagues, who were standing behind Taani.

T: Um bhai, bhabhi, meet my colleagues and friends, this is Jai.

[played by Jay Soni]

T: This is Rajveer, but everyone calls him Raj

[played by Karan Wahi]

T: This is Ankita

[Played by Soumya Seth]

T: And this is Arjun

[Played by Rithvik Dhanjani]

T: And guys, this is my bhai and Bhabhi, Swayam and Sharon Shekhawat.

Everyone exchanged pleasantries and soon they were heading towards the parking lot.

T: Bhai, we have reservations at the Hotel Ramada

Sw (shocked): Hotel?

T: Yah Bhai, it is a business trip.

Sh: What, no ways, you are coming home.

T: Bhabhi, I would love to, but we all need to prepare for the meetings and so it would be much easier if we were all living at the same residence.

Sh: Yah, so all of you can stay at our home then, we have plenty of space.

T: No bhabhii, it's ok, we'll manage at the hotel.

Sw: Taani, we are not taking no for an answer, I am your elder brother; you have to listen to me.

Taani and her colleagues/friends look at each other worried, but she had no choice other than to agree.

T: OK Bhai.

Sw: Great, let's go.
