Part 31: Family ties are important to all of them... "The groom's family gives gifts to the bride to welcome her into the family." Knowing that Anamika and Ganesh haven't had the bliss of enjoying family celebrations, the Raizadas and the Guptas gather them into their loving fold so that they can experience the same! Also the ease with which they tease Gaurav and the others, clearly shows that they have been integrated into their extended family! Scooby was weaving his way between the feet of the guests, sniffing at their clothes, hoping that someone would slip him a sweet from the many boxes on the low table... no wonder Scooby and Khushi get along so well, both are foodies! Good-hearted people, who have stood by Anamika and Ganesh through thick and thin are who constitute their family: Sana, Vinni, Koel and the other ladies at the studio, along with their families, plus the Raizadas, the Guptas and NK! [Such a small, intimate ceremony is what I was hoping to see in the show during the remarriage track... inviting all those acquaintances didn't make any sense as Arnav and Khushi were supposed to have been happily married in the first place... they seemed to have been invited just to ensure Khushi's public humiliation at Dadi's hands!] This is such a heart-warming exception from the lavish displays of wealth and power that modern weddings have turned into! And Ganesh and Anamika repay the Raizada-Gupta kindness and generosity by ensuring that they don't steal Arnav's and Khushi's thunder on their wedding day... the couples sharing all the ceremonies is a nice touch! I just love the similarities between Anamika and Khushi: their backgrounds are similar and here, both opt for simplicity and elegance over ostentatiousness! Smita, I thoroughly enjoy the words you use, as they create such unforgettable images in my mind: Khushi looked at the sparkling diamond rings placed in front of her with a jaundiced eye... I can imagine Khushi looking bilious, almost as if she saw a cockroach! Arnav understands Khushi like no one else does, and is thoroughly enjoying himself... for her, oversized bling and overpriced value don't matter... it's sentiments and simple beauty that counts! That Arnav appreciates this trait of Khushi shows how much he has changed, because earlier he associated class with the very things she ignores! Just like a child, Khushi doesn't dissemble but blurts out what's in her heart... that kind of innocence and honesty is missing in the world today! Her reaction, contrasted with the saleswoman's, clearly shows how unique Khushi's perspective, and she herself, is! Khushi's engagement ring is a true reflection of their intertwined hearts that beat as one: "It has both of our hearts in it." Nothing more need be said! Arnav nodded, swallowing hard. He took the ring out of its box, and, holding her hand in his, gently placed it on her ring finger. Her hand trembled. "Lagi tumhein?" he asked, concerned... why oh why couldn't we have had such scenes in the show? Smita, you really know how to touch our hearts! Endearing to note how Khushi's love has made Arnav more uninhibited and demonstrative about his emotions despite the audience... the normally undemonstrative, khadoos, akhdoo Arnav Singh Raizada kissed Khushi Kumari Gupta's rosy cheeks and matched it with the stone on her finger... 😳 awww, just love how he makes her blush! He was very proud to have her as his wife. For him she was the ultimate woman, the one whom he adored and desired. In front of Khushi Kumari Gupta's love, gone was the undemonstrative, khadoos, akhdoo Arnav Singh Raizada and for better or for worse, in his place was the Aashik Singh Raizada... nicely put, Rashmi, you took the words out of my mouth! Given what you say about what each precious stone and metal symbolises, the rings chosen by Khushi and Anamika are bang on if we consider their relationships with Arnav and Ganesh, respectively! He held the ring out to her. Anamika looked at the ring and at Ganesh's kind eyes. Slowly, she extended her hand. Ganesh put his left hand out, palm open. Anamika placed her hand on his. Gently, he pushed the ring up her long ring finger... to me that was symbolic of Anamika's trust in Ganesh, of being comfortable enough to allow him to touch her without her fear seeping in! Anamika knows she made the right choice in accepting Ganesh... no one understands her or loves her as much as that man!

Part 32: With each update, my respect for Ganesh grows in leaps and bounds! I just love such unassuming and down-to-earth characters... humility is something I like in people [which is one of the reasons I like Barun so much! The way he and his wife deal with his fame, and keep their private life private is commendable!] Ganesh wore it long because he couldn't remember to cut it! In that, he resembles our Mr. Sobti who couldn't be bothered with shaving or getting a haircut while on holiday! Poor Ganesh... he seems to have devised his own unique form of self-torture by allowing Anamika to explore his body at will [which she does with childlike abandon and eagerness] while having to curtail his own desires... he gives Anamika the sense of comfort that a giant cuddly teddy bear would! He desperately wants to touch her, but still waits for her permission to do so and even after getting it, still lets her set the pace, in no way forcing himself on her! She holds the power, has been given the freedom of choice to take the next step... no wonder she bestows her trust on him by letting him touch her as he pleases... only his love could have healed her! Sigh, such men are found only between the leaves of books, not in real life! Khushi blushed and blushed, while Arnav smirked and smirked... a lovely image and those pictures just added to it! Agree with you that Arnav is like a cat with a bowl of cream... one can easily imagine him licking his lips after tasting Khushi's! Just love it when Arnav's husky voice, naughty words and devastating smirk fluster Khushi till she doesn't know whether to clobber him or to swoon at his feet! "Oh! Did you mean this?" he asked as he leaned swiftly towards her and placed a loud smack on her plump cheek ☺️... Smita, you left us yearning for more such moments !
