"OMG! She gave two updates? 😲"
Yeah, cuz this one is quite small! 😕

Week 3
Day 1
"Hello Amit?"
"Yeah Ash? Called me twice in one month? What a miracle!"
"What did you find?" he asked straight to the point.
Amit sighed. "Nothing much yaar… Only that her husband is quite feared, which is why I couldn't find out much except that the Raizadas were and ARE really rich and the eldest person alive is Devyani Raizada who is known to be a benevolent and lovely woman. Apparently, they have a dark family history which no one seems to know correctly and the little that they know, they refuse to tell…."
"Hmm… Well, I don't give a damn about their history as long as their present generation is nice to my Kuku…"
"Ash, did you call her?"
"About that…. You gave me the wrong number… When I called, a little boy picked up…"
"Okay… Maybe you read it wrong because I know your writing is so terrible that you yourself can't read it… Anyways, jokes apart, I will text you the number…."
"Alright…"
Day 2
Arnav was busy reading his files and Khushi was having her bath.
Suddenly, a cell phone began to ring.
Arnav began to look around as Khushi seemed oblivious to the ringing due to the sound of the shower.
He walked to her vibrating cell phone and looked at the display screen.
It was a huge number…
"International number…" he murmured, feeling genuinely curious.
Frowning, he received the call. "Hello?"
A deep voice answered him. "Uh Hello, this is Ashish Gupta speaking. May I please talk to Khushi Gupta please?"
Arnav felt his hands freeze. Khushi's brother!
His eyes darted to the closed bathroom door. "I'm sorry but she is in the bathroom at the moment."
"Oh. No matter. No need to tell her I called… I will call back soon…" With that, the phone went dead.
And Arnav took Ashish's advice and didn't tell Khushi.
Day 3
Anjali watched her brother leave for office, as Khushi looked at his back with sad eyes. Anjali closed her eyes.
He need not know anything! Anything at all! He didn't deserve it! He hadn't believed his own love, so he didn't deserve it!
Though she had been working towards trying to erase their distances, she wouldn't do it any more now. Khushi didn't deserve to manipulated further… She should make her own decisions without influence.
If she decides to stay, Anjali would be happy (Even if she was angry, she did love her brother) but if Khushi decides to walk away, Anjali wouldn't stop her.
Day 4
"Payalji, I know you are angry. If you want Khushi to go away, I will not stop her from leaving…" Anjali whispered, just as Khushi skipped out of the room.
Payal nodded, thankful for the support. Though she hadn't wanted to, Akash was sure Arnav loved Khushi and wanted to work things out.
When Khushi came back in, Anjali said "Khushiji, why don't you go top Buaji's for a few days?"
Khushi shrugged. "There is no need. Why should I?"
"Dee could spend sometime there…?"
"Hm, good idea. I will send Dee over Jiji…."
"Wh-What? What about you?"
"My Jiji needs me and I won't leave…" Khushi said getting slightly teary-eyed and walked out.
And that was when Payal realized what Khushi had meant by saying she can't have a child. "She loves him way too much…" Payal muttered softly.
Day 5, 6, 7
These days passed by quickly.
Anjali and Payal would find excuses to try and get Khushi out of the house, but she refused to do so.
Also, Shyam had returned, worsening the already worse relationship between Arnav and Khushi.
Khushi kept Dee away from Shyam, finding his sadness about her going missing fake and weird. It scared her.
Shyam cautiously kept out of Khushi's way, knowing if either Amit or Ashish found out, he'd be dead meet. Even worse than this, was that it seemed suddenly that Rani Sahiba's favourite pastime was to talk about the secret moments she had seen Khushi and Arnav sharing and he had to keep smiling when he wanted to pull his hair out.
Of course, he didn't know that Anjali's was a good story-teller.
Payal and Anjali wanted to tell Khushi that it would be okay, but pressure from Akash kept them silent, who was convinced that he could work things out between the two of them, much to Payal's chagrin.
