Rey walked up to Taani and put his bag down beside her. Sitting in front of her he started talking to her, rambling on about his day.
"You know what Taani? Today, we signed a huge assignment with a big business man. I think his name is Mr. Khurana. We're getting a total of 22 000 rupees for this event. It's so big. This reminds me of the day when the D3 team got their first paycheck in college. That was such a proud moment for me and I'm so happy I had you to share it with. But you just wait and watch, we're going to get even bigger deals in the future. You know, just because your over-protective bhai got Sharon, he's always pushing us to do rehearsals. He doesn't even give us breaks in between. Remember when NDC was going on and you pushed us to do rehearsals 24/7, yeah that's what your brother is just like you." Rey felt the tears in his eyes build up but he quickly wiped them away.
"I'm sorry Taani. This is all because of me. If I hadn't come with that stupid plan to make you think of your own career, none of this would happen. Everything fell apart because of me. I'm sorry Taani. Do you think you'll ever be able to forgive me?" This time Rey didn't bother to wipe the tears away.
"I miss you. I really do. Everything I do reminds me of you. Your laugh, your smile, and the way your eyes light up when you talked. How it felt to have you in my arms. I miss it all. If I could go back in the past and change only one thing. I would change the day I let you walk away from me. But don't worry Taani, now I'm living for you. I'm going to make you so proud that you're going to have to forgive me." Rey clenched his fist making his nails dig into his skin.
"Why did you leave huh? Why did you have to go away? You knew I loved you. You didn't even bother to wonder why I was doing this. Why you?" Rey's anger turned into sobbing howls. His throat was tightening and he was whimpering, struggling to get air into his lungs. He sat there alone, with no one to comfort him.
He looked up and he saw Taani standing there with a huge smile on her face. Getting up from his spot, he walked towards her and put his hand on her cheek. She put her hand on his hand and closed her eyes. Her closed eyes, made Rey's heart beat quicker than ever. He pulled her into his arms and tightened his grip on her, never wanting to let go. "I love you Rey." She whispered into his ear and he unknowingly smiled.
He pulled away from the hug and opened his eyes, only to find an empty space in between his arms. He sighed and let some more tears fall from his eyes.
Rey grabbed his bag and put a flower in front of Taani. He turned around to walk away but something stopped him. He came back and kissed the top of her tombstone. "I love you too Taani." He whispered before he left the graveyard.

Okay this was a very sad OS and it was based on Katy Perry's song "The One That Got Away."
