Chapter 1

A bright morning in Delhi. Khushi woke up with her alarm & went to get ready for her college. Today she will end it, no matter what. This was what she was chanting the whole time.

'La, I am going.' khushi shouted as she was leaving her room.

'Oye, wait! I will also come with you. Arnav has called me, don't know for what purpose' la said as she tied her hair & both the girls went out of their room together.

Khushi & Lavanya were room mates since last 3 years. This was the last year of their college. Khushi's parents lived in Delhi & she had come to Mumbai for Studying, while lavanya's parents lived in Pune. Both girls weren't best of friends but were good friends. Currently both of them were dating two charming guys of their college.

'Bye khush, c ya soon' la said as she went towards garden where arnav had called her.

'Where is this nk' khushi muttered under her breath no seeing the giant person coming & then *thump*. She rubbed her forehead & both said in unison

'Sorry'

She looked at the owner of husky voice. It was arnav. He looked at her for a while, she was surely uncomfortable so decided to move on when he stopped her.

'have you seen la?'

'Yah, she went to garden' she said pointing out the place.

'I know where is the garden. Anyways thanks' he said in an attitude & went away leaving a fuming khushi.

This guy needs some treatment. She rolled her eyes & searched for Nk.

'Searching me sweetheart?' Nk whispered in her ears from behind making her scare.

'God Nk! I have told you many a times not to scare me like that'

'Okay sorry. So why you called me this early morning? In college canteen when no one is here?'

'That is the reason I have called you'

'Oh! Khushi being naughty'

'Shut up Nk. I had something important to tell you'

'Am all ears for you sweety'

'Stop calling me that'

'Common you're my girlfriend, I can call you that'

'You remember in what situations we came in a relationship?'

That day flashedback in his mind. How can he forget that?

A guy was behind khushi. She was hell irritated due to him. He had proposed her & she rejected him. But he was adamant. He asked her that she was single so what is the problem. Nk was khushi's good friend at that time & he had a soft corner towards her. So she told him that nk was her boyfriend. Everyone was shocked well more then them nk was shocked but he simply smiled & accepted it. Later on khushi asked him to pretend being his boyfriend. He agreed. Gradually he proposed khushi officially, she had started kinda liking him so she actually made him her boyfriend.

'Ya khush, I remember so?'

'So I want to end this' she said in a breathe.

'WHHH'..AATTT?'

'Nk I want to end this relationship.'

'But why? What wrong I did?'

'Nk you are very sweet guy but I need a break from all this. Every person in this college has been teasing me badly since that rose day incident. Which I am not liking. I am not breaking up but I need a break ok?'

Nk remembered the rose day incident. He had gifted her rose in front of everyone & few people asked him to kiss her. So he pecked her cheeks. Since that day it was a new story for the people & they had teased khushi to death.

'But khush why after 2 weeks?'

'Nk I thought they would stop but they haven't. This irritates me like anything. And moreover I told you that I just like you that's it. And I want a break as I don't wanna loose you as my friend. Please nk'

Nk thought for a while.

'Ok khush. If that's what makes you happy.'

'Thanks for understanding Nk.' she said & hugged him. He hugged her back & they bid bye to each other.

Khushi felt relieved that she was out of a relationship..

'Devi maiya, Now no more being in a relationship. It's so'.ugh'.forget it' saying that she moved to her class while devi maiya just smiled & said 'Dear, its just the start'

At garden

'why did arnav called me in the morning? Is it something about our relation? Please god!! Don't let this be true'

Flash back

*trin trin*

'Hey arnie babyyy!'

''La we need to talk'

'Huh... About what?'

'Come to the garden by 11. Will tell u den.'

'Ok '

'Bye, i will be waiting'

'Don't know what he wants to talk about... something regarding last night? the last night was disastrous... all thanks to sheetal kapoor.' La thought with a grimace.

Lavanya was very possessive of Arnav. She never allowed any girl to come near Arnav. And Arnav was a big flirt...

It was sheetal's birthday. So last night she threw a party. She was the hottest girl of the college.

'hey arnav' sheetal cooed.

'hey sheetal, you look gorgeous, girl, after all you are the birthday girl!' Arnav winked

Sheetal flushed.

'you look no less arnav, a handsome hunk' Sheetal smirked

Lavanya looked from a distance. The green eyed monster had possessed her.

'EXCUSE ME SHEETAL KAPOOR!!' Lavanya bellowed. *How dare that sheetal!* Thought lavanya stamping her feet

'if your flirting is over with my boyfriend then please leave' Lavanya when angry, was not something to mess with... Sheetal quietly left.

'What the hell la! Why would you do that?'

'Arnie, she was flirting with you. And am your girl friend, so how could i let that happened' Lavanya said.

'Unbelievable la!'

Lavanya saw Arnav waiting for her...

She went towards him and hugged him

'good morning arnav!'

'la, i am not here for exchanging pleasantries. We need to talk.'

'about what??'

'la i think our relationship is not working out. You, me we both are really different.'

To say lavanya was shocked was and understatement. She went numb. Her worst fears were coming true... Arnav was leaving her.

'so i prefer we should end it here. It will be good for both of us' Arnav completed.

'arnav, if it is because of yesterday night then i am really sorry.'

'no la. I thought about it the whole night. Me and you are just not good together. I can be your friend, but relationship just won't work' With that Arnav was relieved to get this out of his system. But la...

'am really sorry arnav. Give me a chance sweety.'

'no la, i think it is over. We are over.' said arnav quite annoyed now.

'Kay fine, Good bye' with that Lavanya strode out of the garden with tears in her eyes.

Arnav didn't wanted to make her cry but he had to break this relation.

'God, no more girlfriends now. It's better to be single. Atleast I won't have to answer someone' he said shaking her head.

Devi maiya smiled & said to cupid' Hey, my work is done,. Now it's your turn' Cupid just smirked & said 'Let's have some fun first, Then I will throw my arrows at them'
