Khushi cursed herself as she silently lulled Arnav to sleep, in her arms.
Khushi(thinks): Its entirely my fault! Arnavji is right when he says that I'm crazy! I shouldnt say anything just like that, without thinking!
She feels extremely guilty after recalling all the hurtful things she'd said to him.
Khushi(thinks): I told him in a fit of anger that he's good for nothing,which was completely wrong on my part . And wen I compared him to a.. monkey & said that he pounces on me,I shouldnt hav said that at all!
She runs a hand through his hair.
Khushi(thinks): Arnavji may or may not say anything,but tonight I came to know that my words did hurt him. Hey Devi Maiyya! Plz forgive me! Henceforth I wont say anything like that to Arnavji!
She plants a kiss on the top of his head.
Arnav shifts a bit,wrapping his arms even more tightly around Khushi.
Khushi(thinks): I hope he's not feeling cold?
She looks towards her feet to find the blanket lying on the edge of the berth.
Khushi(thinks): Hey Devi Maiyya! How should I get hold of this blanket? Arnavji is lying in sucha way that I wont b able to move much. (worried)And what if I try to move & end up waking him up?
She gets an idea.
Khushi(thinks): I agree that my dupatta isnt all that heavy.. but.. may b Arnavji wont feel all that cold if I cover him with it..
She removes her dupatta from under the pillow & covers Arnav with it.
Few minutes later,she starts feeling cold herself.
Khushi(thinks): For one,I cant increase the temperature of this AC. Secondly I'm not able to get the blanket. I'll hav to do something or else I'll end up with a cold..
When she tries to pull the blanket towards herself with her foot,the blanket fall down on the lower berth.
Khushi(thinks): Oh-ho! Now nothing can be..
Her train of thoughts is interrupted when she hears Hamdaan's voice.
Hamdaan: Ammi.. Ammi wake up..
Asiya: What happened beta?
Hamdaan: Something fell on my foot..
Asiya: What?
Khushi(thinks): I hope Asiyaji doesnt see.. me & Arnavji like this.. God knows what she'll think if she spots lying like this?
At that moment she hears Asiya's voice.
Asiya: Its a.. blanket. Looks like Khushiji's blanket fell down. Move aside beta,lemme keep this on her berth.
Khushi(thinks): Now I'm gone!
She tightly shuts her eyes close.

Asiya is both surprised as well as shocked to see ArShi sleeping arm-in-arm on Khushi's berth.
Asiya: Ya Allah!
Hamdaan: What happened ammi?
Asiya: a.. nothing,beta. Come on,lie down. I'll come after covering.. her with the blanket.
She stops for a moment to gaze at ArShi after covering them with the blanket.
Then she sighs & goes back to sleep.
Khushi opens her eyes & heaves a sigh of relief.
Khushi(thinks): Thanks a lot, Asiyaji! In a way I'm glad that we'll get down early in the morning,before u wake up! And thus.. I wont hav to face u!
She goes to sleep after thanking her stars.

**The next morning at 3:45 a.m.**
Arnav is woken up by the alarm tone of his phone.
Khushi(whispers): Before it wakes up all the passengers,go to ur berth fast & switch off the alarm!
Arnav rushes down the metallic rungs and almost jumps down on the floor.
Then he grabs his mobile from his berth & turns it off.
Heaving a sigh of relief he goes back to Khushi's berth.
Khushi(whispers): Y did u climb up again? Get down & take out the luggage.
Arnav(whispers): Relax Khushi! Everything will b done on time. Its not even 4 am yet..
======ArShi r whispering throughout the rest of the conversation=======
Khushi(confused): So what is the time right now?
Arnav: Its 3:45 am..
Khushi(relieved): Then its fine!(cups his face)Did u get sleep?
Arnav(holds his hand): Yup! I did manage to sleep! Thanks!
He kisses her hands,one after the other.
Khushi: Plz forgive me! Sorry!
Arnav(puzzled): What for?
Khushi: I.. I've told u many such things which I shouldnt hav.. I'm sorry for all those!..
Arnav: Its okay,Khushi! Lets not talk about all that..
He puts an arm around her.
Arnav: Tell me something,did u sleep well? I hope.. u were comfortable?
Khushi: Yes,even I got a good sleep!
Arnav: Great!
He kisses her parting and then proceeds to kiss her eyes close.
Then he pecks her nose & tweaks it.
Arnav: Welcome back to Delhi,mrs. Raizada!
Khushi: Delhi is still far away,Mr. Raizada!
Arnav: I'm sure,by now the train must b in the outskirts of Delhi! Anyways..
He kisses her cheeks and is about to kiss her lips when Khushi stops him.
Khushi: Not here..
Arnav: Y not?
Khushi: Arnavji,we're in the train!
Arnav(inches his face closer to hers): Ya, so?
Khushi: Wh.. what.. ya.. so!? What.. if.. someone.. spots us?
Arnav(tucking her hair behind her ear): Everyone's sleeping.
Khushi: S.. still..
Arnav: No still! I want my good morning kiss!
Khushi pushes him away.
Arnav: What the..!
Khushi: Look around,Mr. Raizada. Its not morning yet!
Arnav: Whatever!
He pulls her closer & slams his mouth on hers,thus putting an end to her protests.
Khushi clutches his shirt tightly in her fists in order to prevent herself from moaning.
She heaves a sigh of relief when he lets go of her.
Arnav waits for a few moments before speaking.
Arnav: What has.. happened to u today?
Khushi(confused): Nothing at all!
Arnav: I kissed u yet.. u didnt react the way u usually do..
Khushi(understands): Oh.. that? What do u want? The passengers who did not wake up after hearing ur alarm should wake up after hearing my moans?
Arnav: Y r u so conscious about such things,Khushi?
Khushi: Y r u not conscious even a bit,Arnavji?
Arnav: Forget it!
Khushi: Absolutely! Now get down & take out the luggage. Meanwhile I'll call amma & find out if they're up or not.
Arnav makes a face as he gets down the berth.
Arnav: U wait here.I'll take out the bag after coming from the washroom. Dont try to take out the bag on ur own. There's still some time before we get down.
Khushi: Okay. Dont worry. I'll wait here for u.
Arnav nods & leaves for the lavatory.

She plants soft kisses on their foreheads.
Asiya: Khushiji?
Khushi is shocked upon hearing Asiya's voice.
Khushi: Y.. r u.. aw.. awake? (realizes): a.. I mean.. u.. woke up so.. early?
Asiya: Ya.. woke up some time back.Plz sit..
She moves her blanket aside in order to make space for Khushi.
Khushi reluctantly sits beside her.
Asiya: I'm really glad to hav met both of u! My kids got really attached to u! I'm sure they'll miss u a lot!
Khushi: Ya.. I'll also.. miss them! And I'm.. equally.. glad to.. hav met u all!
Asiya: Y r u.. hesitating so much?
Khushi: No.. Its just that..
Asiya(smiles): U need not b embarassed about the blanket thing! I can understand. U guys r newly weds and..
Khushi(interrupts): No! Its been.. more than a year since we got married.
Asiya(shocked): Really?
Khushi: Yes.
Asiya: I'm so sorry! I really felt as if.. u were newly weds!
Khushi(blushes): No. Its not like that!
Asiya: Mashallah! U & ur husband love each other so much! I'll pray that u both keep loving each other the same way even after many years!
Khushi: Thank u! I'll pray to Devi Maiyya to keep u & ur family happy!
Asiya: Thank u so much! Can I.. say something,Khushiji?
Khushi: Yeah.. sure?..
Asiya: U're extremely fortunate to hav sucha husband who loves u unconditionally! And take such good care of u! I observed him in the evening. When ur muscle got cramped,he looked more worried than u!.. Pain was clearly visible on his face.
Khushi smiles in realization.
Asiya: May Allah grant sucha husband to every girl! Then every girl's life will b blissful!
Khushi(holds her hand): Hav faith in ur fate & Allah,Asiyaji. Who knows?1 day ur husband might become like my Arnavji?
Asiya(sighs): I think that's impossible..
Khushi: Nothing is impossible! Its in the hands of every man/woman to change his/her fate! And everyone can be changed with love!
Arnav enters the compartment at that moment.
Arnav: Khushi,y did u wake her up?
Khushi: I neved did! Ur alarm must've disturbed her sleep!
Arnav: I'm really sorry!
Asiya: Plz dont say sorry! I wasnt able to sleep since a long time..
Arnav: Khushi,did u call babuji?
Khushi(realizes): I completely forgot about it!
Arnav shakes his head & proceeds to take out his lugggage from underneath the berth.
Asiya: Now u must start helping him. I'll lie down. Bye!
Khushi: 1 minute..
She hugs her,much to her surprise.
Khushi(whispers): Dont loose hope. Everything will b alright!
Asiya smiles at her after breaking the hug.
Khushi: Give my love to the kids! And tell them that I'll miss them a lot!
Asiya(smiles): Sure!
Arnav: Come Khushi,lets go to their coach.
Khushi: Okay.
She follows Arnav after bidding goodbye to Asiya.

Buaji: What was the need to call Mohan babua at this hour,Nandkisore? We could've hired taxis..
Amma: Ya!
Arnav: I'd planned to do that but..wen I told di about it yesterday,she suggested that she'd send Mohan. U'll come home with us. Hav breakfast over there. And then while going to office,Aakash will drop u to ur house.
Buaji: No babua. We'll go to r house now itself..
Amma: Jiji is right, bitwa. I'd asked the milkman to give milk from today.If the milk stays outside for that long,the cat will drink it & spoil the whole courtyard. Plz drop us to r house. We'll come later to meet everyone.

Khushi pulls out a dining chair for babuji.

Buaji: Coming,Sanka devi! I'd gone to open the door & windows..

Amma: Not at all,bitiya! We're telling the truth-we're very happy!
Buaji: There r no complains,niether about u both nor about the arrangements over there! We had a really good time! Apart from getting Baisnodebi maiyya's darsan,we got to meet Sures bahinji!
The smile is wiped off khushi's face.
Amma: Yes jiji. Since bahinji was with us,we quickly got a room in that saraay. And u also got a friend!
Buaji smiles.

Buaji: What is the matter,Sanka devi?
Khushi: a.. buaji.. aunty.. Aunty is.. no more..
Buaji(shell shocked): What?

Amma: When did this happen?
Khushi: Day before yesterday. Her grandson had called me up.

Buaji: Its okay! (sighs)It wouldve been nice if I'd got a chance to speak to her before she passed away. But.. (sighs)Who can go against God's wish,Nandkisore?
Khushi: Whatever happened was the best for her,buaji. Aunty had to spend many years in grief,without uncle. Devi Maiyya liberated her soul.
Buaji nods.
Khushi: We should get going now. Di & everyone else must b waiting for us..
Amma: U're right, bitiya.
She is about to get up but Khushi stops her.

Arnav takes out his wallet & hands him some money.
Arnav: U go home now. Make sure that u reach office on time.
Mohan: Okay sir. Thank you!
Arnav nods.
Khushi: Will he get an auto at this hour?
Arnav: Yes Khushi. (points to the opposite side of the road)Look,there's the auto stand. He'll reach home,dont u worry!
Khushi: Okay.
She is about to shift to the passenger's seat when Arnav stops her.
Khushi: Now what?
Arnav(with his arm around her): I hope I can say it now..?
Khushi: What?
Arnav: Welcome to Delhi!?
Khushi(faint smile): Yeah,sure!
Arnav(smiles): So,welcome back! (pecks her lips) Aapka.. a.. swaagat hai! (which means welcome back in Hindi)
Khushi(smiles a bit more): Thank u! Aur saath me aapka bhi swaagat hai!
Arnav: Thank you! BTW,u never asked me..
Khushi(frowns): What?
Arnav: How was my trip? Whether I had any problems or not? Whether I hav any complains or not?
Khushi: Y would I ask u? This wasnt ur pilgrimage! This was amma,babuji & buaji's yatra. Hence it was my duty to ask them about it!
Arnav: I see..
Khushi(blushes): I'll ask all these questions to u.. later on!
Arnav: After reaching home?
Khushi: Nope! (lowers her gaze)after ur yatra..
Arnav(confused): Myyatra?
Khushi(nods): Paris yatra!

Arnav: Tell me honestly-Did Arnavji trouble u a lot? I hope u had no problems while staying over there? I hope u dont hav any complains with Arnavji?
Khushi: Of course not! I'm damn sure that Arnavji will leave no stone unturned in order to make Paris yatra a special one for me! All I'm worried about is.. he shouldnt hav any complains about me! Arnav(smirks): That's a given!
Khushi: Yeah,y not? Ur wish will b fulfilled so its bound to make u super happy!
Arnav: Absolutely! BTW,I'll b fulfilling ur wish today.
Khushi: My wish?
Arnav: Yup! U remember u'd won a bet according to which I was suppossed t take u to the Chandni Chowk market?

Arnav(with his left arm around her waist): Lets do.. "all that" here,in the kitchen!
Khushi turns to him,shocked and then turns away.
Khushi: Right.. now?
Arnav(whispers in her ear): Yes! Right now!
He removes his arm from around her waist & moves 2-3 steps back.
Arnav: Tell me Khushi,is it a deal?I'm giving u a chance to prove urself!
Despite,u know.. all this.. if u manage to keep urself at a safe distance from the fire &.. cook without burning anything,I'll accept that u can take care of urself!
He again comes & stands right behind her.
Arnav: And in case u're not able to do so,u'll hav to accept ur defeat!
Khushi: If I win the bet,u'll hav to take me to the Chandni Chowk market day after,i.e. on Sunday!
Arnav: Deal!

Khushi(blushes): Ya.. I remember.. the bet.
Arnav: I couldnt take u over there before u left for Vaishnodevi but.. I'll definitely take u to Chandni Chowk today!
Khushi: Which means.. u wont go to office today?
Arnav: Nope,I wont! And that's not all,I'll cook dinner for u tonight. And we'll hav a private,candle-light dinner at the poolside!
Khushi(smiles): Wow! What is so special about today that u'll b doing all that for me?
Arnav: Today's wife pampering day!
Khushi(believes him): Really?
Arnav(smiles): Nah! I was just kidding!
He holds her hand.
Arnav: Actually today's my last holiday before we head to Paris. I'll hav to attend offcie tomorrow & day after. Thats y I want to make this day special for u! Once we're back from Paris,I & Aakash will b busy with the Mehrotris' deal and then.. I really dont know when I'll b able to take a day off? So, I thought of making the most of this day!
Khushi: That's a nice thought! Since u're doing all this for me,its my duty to do something special for u!..
Arnav: Like?
Khushi: That's a surprise! I'll tell u later. Right now,should we go home or.. u wanna stay here in the car itself?
