Khushi felt happy/scary when he's close to her. Her heart unknowingly longed for his closeness but her mind kept warning not to fell in the trap of love when she has already fallen in that. "He's not that bad... he knows how to respect elders... he knows when to leave..." Buwaji's impressed words rang in her ears making her to smile lovely muttering "Heartless monster"

"What kind of feeling is this... Devi Mayya tell me na... I don't know... I like when he smirks at me... when he comes near to me... when he winks at me... though am a bit scared too... oh he's driving me crazy... hey na Devi Mayya..." she said looking at her idol. "Khushi... just try to keep a distance from him... like we planned before... or no one can save you... he will get what he wants from you..." talking to herself she nodded with a blush.

While Arnav is so happy that he has seen her... he didnt felt like that before... that just by seeing a girl's face one can be satisfied... He smiled and reached RM. There Sheela and Dhadhi were in the hall sipping their teas. Playing with his key he walked towards the stair with a line of smile.

"Arnav beta..." Sheela's voice made him to turn towards them. "Yes Chachi..." he replied with the same smile. "Come and have coffee beta..." she said sweetly. "No Chachi... just now had..." he said coolly. "Where..." She continued. "With Khushi..." he spilled unknowingly. "Khushi..." Dhadhi asked naughtily.

Now only Arnav realised what he had told few seconds earlier. "Yes Dhadhi... She's not feeling well... that's why went to see her..." he replied without any facial expression. "Oh really..." Sheela asked pretending to be serious. "How's she now..." Dhadhi's turn. "Yeah... She's fine... i mean she's better now..." he tried to cover up when they raised their eyebrows in doubt.

"Will catch you later..." saying this without waiting for their replies he hopped the stairs to reach his room as he felt so insecure abot his confident attitude. "Khushi... You will pay for this too..." muttered thinking that it's all due to her. He threw the key and fell on the bed.

There Sheela and Dhadhi gave hi5 to each other. They giggled thinking abot his reactions. Sheela dialled and talked "Adi beta... Yes... we saw his reaction..." Adi continued "Really mom... will be there in ten minutes..." saying this they disconnected their call. There NK, Lavanya and Zoya smiled at each other.

"Bhai..." hearing this Arnav sat with a jerk. There stood Adi and NK hardly hiding their smiles. "What..." giving his stern reply Arnav avoided their teasing eyes. He picked a file and just pretended like glancing it. "Nannav... how's your Khushi..." NK asked purposely and it had it affect as Arnav looked them instantly. "I mean... our Khushi..." Adi said waiting for his reply.

Arnav just raised his eyebrows as he very well knew that they were playing cupids for them. "My Khushi... She's fine..." he said with his cute smile stressing "My Khushi"

Both NK and Adi exchanged their glances. But before they could tease him further Arnav told them "Ummm... if you guys finished... i had to do some important work..." Getting that NK and Adi nodded and left his room while winking at each other.

Arnav had a smile thinking how they teased him. He liked that. "My Khushi..." he said in a low voice and smirked along with a smile. There when Lavanya and Zoya tried to pull Khushi's legs, she somehow escaped from them and settled in her room... with his thoughts.

Next day both Arnav and Khushi were so eager to see each other. She saw him entering with his suit as usual he looked dashing in his outfit. He too saw her. She's looking prettier for him every day. She looked like this...

While passing her cubicle he looked her and gave his killer smirk which was enough for her to struggle. He waited for the rite time staring her from his cabin. She too knew that his eyes were glaring at her. She tried hard not to look up. But she couldn't. When she looked up his wink made her to look down instantly and pretended like working. He smiled thinking "Whatever you try... You must fulfil my wish..." he smirked.

Khushi tried to escape from his encounter. She managed to avoid him by sticking with Harish. "Damn it..." he said to himself when she left to home along with Harish. Yes... due to some work he dropped her for her relief. She knew that he will be so furious.

Khushi thought to try till at what extent she can play hide and seek with him. Next day Arnav kept an eye on her as usual but with so much alertness. He stared her as he had lost in her beauty. She looked like this now...

Khushi too knew that. She's thinking seriously abot how to get rid of him at that moment. When she didnt found his eyes, she remembered that Zoya had told them abot a video conference. Khushi smiled naughtily. When he finished his meeting, he came to check her. But to his shock, she wasn't there in her cubicle. He came down furiously. "Where's she..." he asked Lavanya. "She went home... got permission from Sir..." replied Lavanya.

"What..." he thought to go to her home. But sadly Zoya informed him that Harish asked for him. So he had no choice other than moving towards Harish's cabin. "Khushi Kumari Gupta..." he muttered furiously. Then he smirked thinking abot something "Now let's see how you are escaping..." saying this he entered Harish's cabin.

Adi, NK, Lavanya and Zoya wondered what is happening between them. They were so clear that Khushi's trying to avoid Arnav while he's so desperate to meet her.

Khushi entered the office so consciously next day and looked up his cabin. To her fear, he had already arrived and staring at her. She looked like this...

She held her dress due to nervousness and went to Harish's cabin. He smirked with a cute smile thinking what is going to happen next. Within few minutes, he along with Zoya joined Khushi in Harish's cabin. On seeing him and his twinkling eyes, she felt something fishy. "Khushi... Arnav and Zoya wants the details abot Mehta designers... so you help them...as you know abot it very well" Harish spilled it and waited for her reply. "Sure Sir..." saying this she looked at Arnav's smirking face.

"Dad... Am a bit busy today... So can i have her help after office hours..." he said innocently. Khushi froze thinking "after office hours... hey Devi Mayya... am so dead..." she tensely looked at Harish. "Okay..." Harish dragged. "Oh don't worry dad... I will drop her..." Arnav said and looked at her. Zoya lightly raised her eyebrows and with much difficulty hid her smile. Harish nodded with a smile as Adi had already told him that Arnav is moving with Khushi gently.

Zoya had informed Adi, NK and Lavanya. They giggled. Khushi joined them and with a little hope she thought to ask them to pick her up. But before she could say anything Adi started "Lavanya... What's your plan in the evening... is coffee okay..." he asked her. Lavanya nodded with a light blush. "Zoya... what abot you..." NK asked looking at Zoya. "Well i have a meeting after office hours... if it ends soon... i will inform you..." Zoya uttered casually. Khushi kept quiet thinking that maybe she can join with NK and Zoya. But deep inside her mind warned that she can't join them. Adi, Lavanya, NK and Zoya didnt miss to notice her struggle. They just wanted Arnav and Khushi to meet so that they can open their heart. They were even so sure that this meet will confirm their love.

Breathing deeply she prayed her Devi Mayya to stay with her when her heartless monster is around. She immersed with her work. Then in the evening she collected the files of Mehta designers from the accounts section. After praying hard she entered Arnav's cabin. He stared her from head to toe with a smirk/smile. She felt some fear engulfing her. To her relief Zoya joined them. She breathed in relief. "Not so soon..." thinking this Arnav smirked looking at her.

Khushi started to explain abot the orders, designs, problems they faced and how they tackled... She kept glancing at Arnav who is just staring her with the same smirk. She tried her best not to blabber as he will get that she's nervous. She finished two files when Arnav made her to stop. She looked at him and Zoya as her mind started to ring the warning bell.

"Zoya... You collect those finished files from her and go through the figures... i might need it tomorrow..." he just said in a stern voice. Zoya picked those files and stood as she knew that she has to leave now. "Zoya... you can go now... do you want me to inform NK..." he said casually. "No Sir... I will inform him..." she said with a smile and looked at Khushi who has stood now thinking hardly how to join her.

Seeing Khushi... "Khushi... You sit... You explain abot the remaining ones to me... I need to finish this today" he said with a very light smirk. She nodded helplessly thinking "Devi Mayya... what am going to do now... am so trapped..." she tried to keep her face normal. "Okay... bye Sir... bye Khushi..." Saying this Zoya left his cabin with a giggle.

He stood and made sure that the door is locked properly increasing Khushi's heart beat. He noticed that Khushi has stopped to explain him. "Khushi... Why did you stopped... continue..." saying this he went towards his table and sipped water from his glass. She started a bit shaking. Now he smirked mildly and turned towards her.
