Akash reached home directly before Arnav without going to office... As soon as he saw Anjali, he ran towards her excitingly... Anjali was well aware that Akash had some spicy news to tell her... She could read it in his eyes... As much as she loved her Chote, she loved her Akash too... He too was her l'il brother after all... Akash came to an abrupt halt near Anjali and was about to stumble down when Anjali caught him and said,"Akash, calm down! What happened that u r in so mischievous mood today? haan?" Akash replied, "Di, u have no idea what happened today n u'll not believe too! It'll be a similar shock for u as it was for me!" Anjali smiled and said, "Oh! Okay, okay! First u calm down and tell me each and every detail thing about today's events!" Now Anjali was also excited to know about what Akash had to say...

They both headed towards living room... As it was afternoon, Nani was resting in her room, Shyam was out for his work, Mami had gone to parlour, Mama and Arnav were in office... So Anjali dragged Akash with her to sit on the couch, handed him a glass of water and told him to continue what he had to say... Akash said, "Di, today for the first time in history of AR designs, Bhai didn't go for an important meeting n sent me instead of him!" Anjali interrupted, "What? But that's nice Akash! You got an experience!" Akash continued, "Yeah Di! That's nice! But u don't know the reason why he sent me! If u come to know about that, u'll be laughing ur head-off!" Anjali was now restless, she told him to continue... Akash had a naughty wicked smile on his face now... He thought, "After i tell Di about him, its going to be so much fun!" and turned towards Anjali and said, "Di, Bhai cancelled his meeting and sent me instead, for Khushiji!" Anjali was confused... She said,"What for?" Then realization dawned to her and she again said in disbelief, "For... For Khushi??? Oh my god! Oh my god! Akash, r u serious? Tell me that u r joking!" Akash laughed heartily and said,"Yes Di! M damn serious! Bhai cancelled his meeting for Khushiji! She was in our office today for discussing about y'day's designs..."(Akash narrated the whole incident to her and then about the call when Arnav was embarrassed)

Now Anjali was literally jumping in her sitting position on the couch and clapping hands like a child... Her Chote was finally giving attention to a girl for the first time in his life... It was Anjali's dream to see her Chote happily married... Now there were signs that her brother would get married soon... But there was no point in talking about it with Arnav as he wouldn't listen to her... So if she had to compel Arnav to marry, she had to meet Khushi first... But she didn't have a reason to meet Khushi! So she turned to Akash and said, "That's unbelievable Akash but i have to meet Khushi first to see if she has same feelings for Arnav! If she has then i have many plans to make Arnav agree for this marriage!" Akash smiled again and said, "Give me some time Di! I'll soon think of a reason to meet her and let u know asap!" Anjali winked and said, "Great!" and they hi-fived each other... Just then Nani they stopped as they saw Nani coming downstairs so they went to the dining area...

At ARD,

Arnav was studying some file in his cabin but was not able to concentrate as his mind was occupied with Khushi's thoughts...

Her chocolate-brown eyes...

Her rosy-pink lips...

Her pom-poms...

Her brightly-colored dresses...

"Beautiful!" he said to himself but a bit aloud... Just then Aman entered and heard him saying that while staring at the file... "What's so beautiful in the file ASR?" Aman asked... "Huh?" Arnav came out of trance...

"nothing!" He said abruptly and walked out of the cabin, heading towards home...

At GH,

Khushi reached home... The office car dropped her at home... As soon as she entered her home,her Buaji called her, "Aa gayi Sankadevi! Ab jaldi tayyar ho jao! Aaj tumhari jiji ko ladke wale dekhne aa rahe hai! Tumhari jiji bhi taiyyar ho rahi hai!"After hearing this, Khushi was shocked as well as happy and said, "Sach Buaji?? Arre waah ye toh bahot achhi baat hai! Hum abhi jaake tayyar hote hai..." Saying this she runs to her room... As she enters her room and hugs her Jiji and says," What a good news this is Jiji! I'm so happy for you!" Payal looks at her with tear-glistened eyes... Khushi's shocked... And asks,"Jiji! Kya hua? Why are u crying?" Payal just hugs her while crying... Khushi again says, "Say something Jiji! If u don't say anything how will i come to know what's the matter?" Payal lets out a little sniff and says, "We r facing financial problems Khushi... If my marriage comes up in between then how will we manage that?" Khushi lets out a small laugh and says, "Bas itni si baat Jiji? We'll solve this problem don't worry! Now i also have a job of good salary!Now don't cry or else ladke-wale tumhe pasand nahi karenge!" Payal smacked Khushi playfully... And they shared an emotional time...

At GH,

Payal and Khushi get ready... Its time for the guests to arrive...Khushi goes to Buaji's room... Buaji is pacing in the room thinking about the preparations... Khushi goes to her and says, "Buaji aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye... Yeh aapki Payaliya hai na, woh toh apne roop se hi aane wale mehmaanon ko ghayal kar de gi!"(Buaji, don't worry! Your Payaliya will attract the guests only with her looks!) Buaji holds her head at Khushi's comment and says, "Hai re Nandkishore! Pagla gayi ho ka Titaliya? Haan hume bhi pata hai ki hamari Payaliya sarvagunsampanna hai... Lekin chinta toh hogi na! Aakhir woh bhi toh hamari bitiya ki tarah hi hai na!"(Have u gone mad Titaliya? Yes, i know that our Payaliya is an all-rounder... But i'll be worried na... After all she's also like my own daughter!) Khushi smiles at her statement, puts her hand around her shoulders and says, "Buaji, aapki baat bilkul sahi hai! Lekin aapko bhi pata hai ki hamari Jiji kitni achhi hai, toh usey sasuraal bhi achha milega hi!"(U're right Buaji, but u also know that my Jiji is so nice, so her to be in-laws should also be nice!) Buaji looks at her and smiles lovingly and says, "Tumhare muh mein ghee-shakkar!"(Let ur mouth be filled with ghee-sugar)

Then they both move out of the room to see if Payal is ready... As they enter the room, they see Payal sitting on the bed fully ready.. Buaji goes near her and puts a dot of kohl from her eyes under Payal's right ear and says, "Hamari Payaliya ko kisiki nazar na lage!"(Let our Payaliya be protected from ill-omen!) Payal smiles and hugs her... After comming out from hug, Khushi goes near her and says, "Jiji, waise humne itni saari baatein karli par hum toh tumse hamare hone wale Jijaji ka naam hi poochna bhool gaye! Waise unka naam kya hai?"(Jiji, btw we have talked so much but i forgot to ask the name of my to be b-i-l! Btw what is his name?) and winks Payal again smacks her playfully and says, "Woh log sirf hume dekhne aa rahe hain! Abhi tak hamari shaadi nahi hui hai ke tum unhe abhi se hi Jijaji bula rahi ho!"(Those ppl r just coming to see me, i am not married yet that u hv already started him calling 'Jijaji'!) Khushi dramatically says, "Uff Jiji! Humne toh unhe sirf hamare hone wale Jijaji kaha, Shayad tum hi ko unhe hamare Jijaji banane ki jaldi hai!"(Oh Jiji! i only called him my to be Jijaji, i guess u r only in a hurry to make him my Jijaji!) Saying this Khushi starts running.. Payal too runs behind her to smack her... Khushi laughs heartily and stops running and says, "M sorry Jiji! Par naam toh batao!" Payal too stops, blushes a little and says, "Abhishek.. Abhishek Sharma" Khushi again smiles naughtily and says,"Oh Jiji! Just his name is causing u to blush, what would u do when he comes in front of u?" Payal replies,"U wouldn't understand now Khushi! When ur marriage will get fixed or someone will come to see u then u'll understand! At that time, i'll have fun teasing u!" Immediately after hearing this face of Arnav flashes in front of Khushi's eyes... Khushi to herself, "Control Khushi! Laad Governor tumharey aankhon ke saamne kaise aa sakta hai? What's happening to me? He's nothing to u! Stop thinking about him!" By the time Khushi's lost in her thoughts, Payal pats her shoulder and asks, "Where r u lost Khushi? Kiske khayalon mein khoyi ho?"

Khushi comes out of the trance and says,"Uff Nothing Jiji!"

Just then the bell rings and Khushi runs to open the door... Buaji goes behind her and Payal waits in the room...

At RM,

Arnav entered into Shantivan with a slight smile on his face in thoughts of Khushi... Akash was descending the stairs when he saw Arnav entering... He whistles so that Anjali who is sitting on the dining table reading a book is aware of Arnav's presence... Hearing Akash whistle, Arnav is surprised a bit and comes out of his trance and looks weirdly at him and asks, "Akash... u whistling?" Akash smiles a bit and says, " Woh kya hain na Bhai, aaj mujhe bahot KHUSHI hui hai! Lagta hai aaj aapko bhi KHUSHI hui hai! Hai na?" He purposely stresses on word 'Khushi' and Arnav understands it and just rolls his eyes at him.. In that while Anjali immediately turns to see Arnav having a slight smile on his face... She hears Akash's comment and decides to continue pulling his leg... She smiles naughtily and says, "Chote, Akash bilkul theek keh raha hai! Lagta hai aaj tumhe bahot KHUSHI mili!" and laughs heartily... Arnav turns towards Anjali and gives a weird look and says, "Di! U too?" Then rolls his eyes and moves hurriedly to his room and bangs the door behind him... Akash and Anjali laugh heartily and Akash moves towards Anjali and says almost in a whisper, "Di, i got an idea about how r u going to meet Khushiji!" Anjali excitedly says, "Great Akash! I didn't know u were so fast!" Akash says, "Oh Di! U want to listen to my idea or not?" Anjali smiles apologetically and says, "Ok sorry sorry! Now please tell the idea!" Akash smiles at his sister's excitement and says, " Ok! In next two days she might be coming to our office... Coz AR Designs has signed a contract with RC Fashion and she's the head designer. So for that meeting she would definitely be there! So when she comes, that time i'll text u and u pretend to come casually at office just to surprise ur Chote! What say?" Anjali smiles widely and says, "OMG Akash! Superb idea!" Akash replies, "Okay then! I'll text u or let u know when the time and date for the meeting is fixed!" Anjali says, "Yes Boss!"

Just then Shyam enters and Anjali goes to see him while Akash moves to his room...

At GH,

The guests arrive... Khushi welcomes them heartily and then Payal is asked to come out with tray of tea... Payal and Abhishek like each other instantly... Even Abhishek's family likes Payal... That time Abhishek's mom says to Buaji, "Humey toh Payal bitiya hamare bahu ke roop mein pasand hai! Aap logon ka kya kehna hai?"(We would like to have Payal as our daughter-in-law. What would you people say about this?) Buaji smiles and says, "Hai re Nandkishore! Eh toh bahot achhi baat hai! Humey bhi Abhishek bitwa pasand hai!"(Hai re Nandkishore! This is very good news! We also liked Abhishek!) Khushi smiles at Payal and says, "Lekin Jiji aur Abhishek ji ka kya kehna hai?"(But what Payal and Abhishek hv to say about this?) And looks at them. Abhishek says, "Ji, mujhe bhi Payal pasand hai!"(Yes, even i liked Payal!) Then Khushi looked at Payal... She also nodded in approval... Everybody was happy... Then Payal and Abhishek were given some privacy to talk and know each other... After they were gone, Buaji asked Abhishek's mother, "Abhi hum len-den ki baat karein?" Khushi looked at her Buaji surprised and thought to herself, "Has Buaji gone mad? Is she asking about dowry?" And she was about to stop Buaji from asking further questions.. .Just then Abhishek's mother spoke, "Arre nahi nahi Madhumati ji! Humey sirf aapki beti chahiye!" (Oh no no Madhumatiji! We just want ur daughter!) Hearing her statement, Khushi was convinced that her sister was indeed getting good in-laws! Then it was decided that groom's family would visit them again to fix the dates for engagement and marriage... Then the guests left Gupta house...

Khushi was almost jumping when they left... She held Buaji by her shoulders and started twirling her... She said, "Buaji, humey yakeen nahi ho raha hain ki humari Jiji ki shaadi tay ho gayi hai! Hum abhi Amma-Bauji ko phone karke yeh khush khabri suna dete hain!"(Buaji, m not able to believe that Jiji's marriage is fixed! I'll just now call Amma-Bauji to give them this good news.) Then she calls her Amma in Lucknow and tells her everything... They r also happy to hear this news and tell her that they'll come next week to Delhi to meet groom's family and panditji! Then they happily eat their dinner and the day ends with smile on their faces... Payal sleeps with the thoughts of Abhishek while Khushi hits the bed with dreams of her Jiji's marriage and suddenly she has a dream about her's and Arnav's marriage! She gets up immediately and says to herself, "What type of dreams r u getting Khushi? Ur and Arnavji's marriage? Control Khushi control!" And again drifts off to sleep...

At RM,

Raizadas also have a great dinner... Laughing, giggling and Anjali-Akash's teasing Arnav... Then they all move to their respective rooms to rest for the night... Arnav does the same but his mind is constantly occupied with Khushi's thoughts... He too hits the bed with Khushi's thoughts and immediately falls asleep...
