Part 9

Rey, Kriya and Aanchal on the dining table.

Kriya settled on a dining chair and Aanchal served the food. It was parathaas, Rey and Kriya's favourite. They both screamed like kids, "Wow Parathas". Kriya took a mouthful of paratha which made it hard for her to chew. Aanchal and Rey loved that sight of Kriya struggling with the food in her mouth. Rey was REY but even Aanchal found Kriya really cute. She felt her wish of many years coming true, her wish of having a daughter. Kriya noticed the two staring at her. She instantly stopped struggling. "Maa you know you cook same like my maa, same taste, same smell and same FEELING", Kriya said stressing on the last word.

A tear rolled down Aanchal's eye as she heard that. Kriya also had tears in her eyes. Aanchal got up from her place and took Kriya into a hug in such a motherly way that Kriya couldn't help but smile in between tears. Rey shook his head smilingly. "Lagta hai ab ye dono aik doosre k saath ziada time spend karain gi. Rey beta tu tou gaya. Ab naa Mom milege naa Girlfriend", Rey said to himself.

After breakfast Aanchal got busy in household works and Kriya helped her. Rey started to get annoyed with all this. He started walking to and fro in the kitchen where Kriya and Aanchal were working. Firstly he came in Aanchal's way when she was trying to get things out from the fridge. "Oho Rey beta kia kar rahe ho, kahin aaram se beth jao". Then he came in Kriya's way when she had a jug full of water in her hand. The water spilled onto the floor because of this. "Rey aapko dikhta nahi hai kya, hum kaam kar rahe hain aur aap ho ke..." He didn't let her complete her scolding and placed his finger on her lips. She brought her hand forward to remove his finger but he got hold of her hand. "Rey aap..." she again tried to speak but Rey was in no mood to listen to her.

He brought his face so close to her that she thought he is going to kiss her. He ignored Aanchal's presence and continued his work. "Chup chaap mere saath chalo warna mujhe tumhara munh band karne k buhut se tareeqe aate hain", Rey whispered in her ears and winked. She blushed a little and lowered her lashes. Rey knew she agreed so he left her hand. Aanchal was busy in her work acting if she knows nothing. Rey walked out of the kitchen and Kriya followed her eyeing at Aanchal, hoping that she hasn't seen Rey's actions. As they got out of the kitchen, Aanchal turned around and smiled. "Inka kuch nahi ho sakta", she said to herself and got busy in her work again.

Rey headed towards his car with Kriya behind him. He opened the door of front passenger seat for Kriya and she sat in hesitantly. Rey sat on the driver's seat and started the car. Rey noticed Kriya's nervousness when they came on the main road.

Rey: Hey Kriya, Itna nevous kiun ho rahi ho, ye humari wedding night nahi hai.

Kriya's eyes went wide open as she heard this. She looked at Rey unbelivingly but kept quiet.

Rey: Arey don't be sad my dear. Humari wedding night bhi zaroor aayegi. (He was loving teasing her)

Kriya: Excuse me!!

Rey: You are not excused this time my lady. Abhi yahan meri chale gi. You have to follow my orders.

Kriya: Acha ab main aapki baat maan kar chup chap gaari mai beth gayi hoon without knowing k aap mujhe kahan le jaa rahe ho, aur kia chahte ho aap?

Rey: Tumhara sub kuch...

Kriya: What???!!!

Rey: Ummm I mean tumhara waqt chahta hoon, tumse baat karna chahta hoon. That's why main cafeteria ki taraf jaa raha hoon so we can talk in a good environment.

Kriya: Oh..

"Abey Rey k bache, tu kia bol raha hai, kia ho gaya hai tujhe. Buhut besharm ho gaya hai, Kriya kia soche gi", Rey said to himself.

Kriya: Kuch kaha aapne?

Rey: Na..nahi chalo cafe aagaya.

They ordered hot chocolate and donuts for themselves and settled on a table-chair in a corner of the cafe. They both waited for each other to start the conversation but then Rey spoke up.

Rey: Kriya I wanted to say that what do you think now? I mean about us, about our relation, our future. You are behaving different from the morning. It's obviously a pleasant difference. Tum khush ho aur I know k humare relationship se khush bhi but still main ab koi misunderstanding nahi chahta so it's better k hum disscuss kar lain.

Kriya: Yaa you are right. Rey look you judged me right. Now I'm happy with everything. I can't really tell the reason for this sudden change (Kriya's mind talk- Reason batayi tou aap hanso k yaa shaed hurt ho k main bhi kia cheez hoon. Aapke pyaar se tou samajh nahi payi, aik stupid dream se samajh gayi)

Rey: Tou batao naa, your desicion now?

Kriya: I want to be with you Rey. Main aapka saath dena chahti hoon, zindagi k har morr per. Mujhe ab kisi cheez se bhi problem nahi bus aik darr abhi bhi hai.

Rey: Kriya mujhse khul k share karo, jo bhi hai.

Kriya: Rey, it's just that main abhi bhi darti hoon k ye society, ye shehar aapko bhi ghalat naa samjhe. Humare pyaar ko ghalat naa samjhe. Rey main aapko paa kar phirse khona nahi chahti.

Rey put his hand on Kriya's hand firmly and lifted her chin with the other hand.

Rey: Kriya, look into my eyes...

As she looked into his eyes, he continued..

Rey: Mera haath thaam lo aur mere saath chalo, dunya ki bari se bari taqat, bare se bara masla humain nahi rok sakta tou phir ye shehar wale jo sirf aik misunderstanding ki wajah se tumhe ghalat samajhte hain, ye kia kar sakte hain. Come on my dear, I'm always with you, when we are together, no one can hurt us. Will you be with me Forever?
