Part 13

Viren and jeevika spent the entire day together, on the hillside, then near an ice cream store and finally home. Jeevika was teasing viren when they were returning ad so viren being viren chased her into the house, here maya was impatiently waiting for him.

Maya- what the hell viren! Where were you! I have been calling you since forever! How can you be so irresponsible! have you forgotten you have a girl friend! i do so much for you viren! and you!

Viren- maya ! just calm down ! i was out with jeevika and lost track of time that's it!

Maya - ohh!! So now she is so important that you loose track of time with her?!

Jeevika felt that she should leave and just as she took two steps forward she felt a tug on her hand , she turned around to see viren holding her hand but looking straight at maya!

Viren - yes she is that important! Because she spends more time with me than you do! And you dare not say anything wrong about her! I have had enough of you maya just get lost ! don't ever show me your face again !

Maya was just shocked as viren repeated the same words he had said five years ago! And jeevika just could not take it anymore; she just kept looking at him whilst maya just left the house in anger. That is when viren turned to jeevika,

Viren- jeevika ! Iam sorry about her i dint want her to say stuff about you thats why ! im sorry!

Jeevika who was so overwhelmed with everything going on around her from the pregnancy to viren, she just fainted in viren's arms. Viren who did not even who that she was pregnant totally freaked out and started shouting out for vikram and vanshika.

Viren- MAA! PAPA!!!

Listening to viren scream one of the servants came out and informed him that vikram and vanshika were not at home, they had gone to a friend's function. Viren got really scared now and he told the driver to get out the car as he picked jeevika from the floor in his arms and took her to the car. He did not understand why but he was really worried for her. As soon as they reached the hospital viren rushed in with jeevika in his arms. Coincidently, jeevika's gynaecologist was walking right in front of them and spotted jeevika.

Doctor- Mr. Vadhera! What happened to jeevika? Is she fine?

Viren- no doctor! She just fainted due to stress i think! Please check her!

Doctor- Don't worry! Just get her in and put her on the bed!

The doctor carried out various texts on jeevika whereas viren was getting impatient by the minute, he just did not understand what went wrong!

The doctor came out and was looking very stern.

Viren- doctor! Is jeevika alright? Is everything fine?

Doctor- Mr. vadhera! How can you be so irresponsible? Jeevika is pregnant with your child and from the past few months she has been coming alone for all her appointments. She is not the only parent of this child, Mr Viren! It is your responsibility also to take care of your wife and your child!

Viren-WIFE AND CHILD!?

This conversation was not only between viren and the doctor it was also heard by vanshika and vikram who had rushed to the hospital when the servant had told them that jeevika was not well. They rushed to viren who could not understand anything. As soon as he saw his mom and dad he bombarded them with questions about what was going on? After asking the doctor about jeevika's health vanshika and vikram sat down with viren outside the room to answer all his questions.

Viren - mom! What the hell was that doctor saying? Jeevika, wife, child? i mean jeevika is a great friend but i swear to god there is nothing like that between us!

Vikram- as a matter of fact viren there is! Jeevika is your wife and the child in her stomach is yours!

Viren - but dad how is this possible?

Vikram - Viren! Jeevika was your girlfriend for a very long time and you were married exactly on the day of your accident!

Viren- ok! Ok! I understand till the wedding part, but if the accident happened on the day of the wedding then how did the baby come into the picture?

Vikram- viren actually both of you used to live together before marriage soo...

Vanshika- viren! That girl has gone through a lot during these past few days! Handling you, the baby appointments! It's not fair on her! You may not be able to see but see is breaking from inside! She always goes on the cliff where you always used to take her and cries...

Viren- Hold on! She goes on the cliff where i used to take her? The cliff that is near our farmhouse?

Vanshika- Yeah! That's the one!

Viren - jeevika is the girl! It's her!

Vanshika and vikram - what?

Viren just got up without saying anything to his parents and ran into the room where jeevika was resting. Jeevika who did not know that viren know knew everything, got up suddenly and looked up to see viren standing by her bedside. She was a bit flustered but she knew she had to protect viren from knowing the truth.

Jeevika -viren! Actually it was really hot outside right! That's why maybe i fainted! And then the whole maya issue also...

Viren- shut up! Just shut up jeevika! How much will you lie! Huh? Why dint you tell me? You were my girl ... the girl who i saw in my flashes! My dream girl! My... wife!

Jeevika just heard these words from viren and tears just started dropping from her eyes, looking at her like this viren could not take it and he just hugged her!
