Nani-"so now you give the clear cut explanation for all the drama you preformed when you came here.."

Aradhana gulped at her traffic voice and explains the whole situation which meant why she referred Lavanya as Khushi before the family. After hearing her out fully nani's anger raised twice.

Nani-"what the hell is all this Aradhana?(Shouting at her) Do you even had any idea what are you doing?? Are you any school girl to have a bet with someone? And that to with your daughter's life? Are you mad?"

Aradhana was really scared of her mother now, she never call her by her complete name neither when she was anger. So she felt numb and stand the down casting her head.

Nani-"is the something on the floor that you are giving your full attention to that? Look at me and Answer.. "

Aradhana was hell scared with the words of her mother so he at once look at her face with a puppy face.

Aradhana-"maa.. wo.. I ..(stammering)"

Aradhana-"maa.. I wanted to tell you something .. bur not here. Just come.."

With that they went inside nani's room and shut the door. Arnav watched all these with his every ready brain working in a nano speed to get the actual play out of all these. Lavanya watched all this with amazement, and when she turn around and saw Arnav in deep thought she gulped. She gave him a very nasty smile, while praying inside to not to caught.

Inside nani's room

Aradhana dragged nani inside and closed the door safely.

Nani-"what are you doing Aru ?"

Aradhana-"maa.. listen to me carefully.. ok"

Nani-"ok.. now say where is my granddaughter?.. I am waiting.."

Aradhana-"she.. she.."

Nani-"she she what? (irritated) Say it Aru? Is she hiding somewhere to give me a surprise??(looking towards the door) I know she may be hiding somewhere and testing me.. right? (playful manner) That I can find my pari or not? (laughing) That why you say that girl is my Khushi..(making anger + little disgusting face) oho ! how can you just say that Aru? (scolding her) Didnt I saw my Khushi before,. Yeah it is true that her face was less clear in that TV.. what you say chat..or whatever.. but that not meant that I cant recognize my Khushi.. Arre how can she even think like that.. (saying all in one go and turn around to face her daughter) and you Aru why are you not speaking.. call her now.."

Aradhana-"maa.. wo.. actual the thing is .. "

Nani-"what?"

Aradhana-"Khushi is not came with me!!"

Nani was little shocked and disappointed on hearing this so she just sat down with a sad face.

Nani-" you have promised me last time Aru.. that you will surely bring her with you.. then why didn't you? "

Aradhana felt really bad after watching her others sad face , she came forward and sat near her.

Aradhana-"maa.. dont feel bad.. she will come.."

Nani-"when??(anger) When I am leaving this world?? When will you show me you daughter Aru..(softly with all her disappointment) I am getting older.. I wish I could see her before i.."

Aradhana was stunned after hearing her mother's words, she could help make her to complete her. She at once interrupted her mother by placing her hand on her mouth.

Aradhana-"maa.. what are you saying.. dont say anything like this ever.."

But before could explain everything her phone made loud noise. She looked at it to check whom it was, and found Khushi's smiling and number flashing on her phone screen. Nani also saw it , thus without thinking much she scratched the phone from her daughter and answer it.

Nani-"Khushi.. my child.. where are you? Why didn't you came to see me??"

On the other hand Khushi was expecting her mother to answer the phone to know that whether she reached safely or not and informing her about Khushi's next day flight time and all. But while her nani's disappointed voice and complaint, she was stunned and felt really bad to not accomplishing with her mother.

Khushi-"oho.. nani..(cheerfully) don't be sad.. (promising tone) next morning I will be there with you.. "

Nani-" Really??(happy and excited voice) you not fooling me .. right??(little down and suspiciously)"

Khushi-" did I ever break my promise which I made with you??( in little serious tone)"

Nani-"no..(gladly)"

Witnessing their conversation Aradhana felt content that now her mother was happy. Sometimes her wonder thinking on her daughters capabilities. She believes that Her daughter has some magic that she can spread happiness around her.

Khushi-"so believe me this time too na??..(pleading tone) I will be there with you tomorrow.. (serious tone) and its a promise! (playfully)Now happy?"

Nani-"very much.. (so happily) but why didn't you came with Aru today?(little surprised and suspiciously)"

Khushi was startled with the question, she didn't want her granny to have any grid towards her son-in-law or we can she didn't want anyone to quest her dad's deed. Thus she decided to lie to her nani.

Khushi-"wo.. (little hesitated) I didnt get the ticket na? (lying) today's flight was full with passengers that why mom came with lav? Saying about lav.. I remember did you meet my friend nani? (changing the topic and smiling) She is one who always fight with momma.."

Nani-"oho..(so much excited) so you will be coming tomorrow..( allowing happy tears from her eyes) I am so happy baby.. I can't wait to see you.. and that girl was your friend and (glaring at Aradhana)your mother was saying something else.."

Khushi-"what??(confused) what was momma saying? Did they again fight over there?"

Nani -" ask your momma..? (all anger) what she was doing here..!"

Khushi-"momma..(confused) what was nani saying?"

Aradhana-"wo.. nothing dear..(little hesitated) once you came here .. I will tell you.. (in an anxious voice)now tell me are you done with your packing?? When is the flight? And what about papa?"

Khushi-"oho momma.. (laughing at her concern) I had done my packing completely .. you don't worry about it.. ok.. (in serious tone)and one important thing.. I have lied to nani that I got delayed because of no ticket availability.. so you know na.. what I am trying to convey?"

Aradhana understood what her daughter trying to do so that her husband's deed never affect their family.

Aradhana-" ok.. I know.. "

Khushi-"ok.. and by the way how is lav? Is she with you now?"

Aradhana-"oho..(little irritated) don't ask me about that looser, she is not with me now.. (softly) come soon.. and manage your lav.. I am feed up with her.."

Khushi-"oh momma.. ok..(rushing) bye I have to go now.. take care of your self and my nani till I come.. bye.. muhaa.."

Nani-"hmm.. now stop crying Aradhana.. (little irritated) you are not anything small girl.. to cry.."

Aradhana at once looked at her mother with a flushed face.

Aradhana-"no.. no.. I .. I .. am not crying.."

Nani-"yeah really.. I can see that.."

Aradhana looked her with a confused face. Thus nani continued with her talks.

Nani-"Now you dont worry.. I am with you.. we will this bet.."

Aradhana shocked to hear her mothers words. She was scolding her like hell to having a bet with that looser and now she is saying about winning the bet.

Aradhana-"maa .. you.."

Nani-"what?(in a serious tone) We will together make sure that chote not fall for that witch? What is she thinking of herself that she is some beauty queen? (making funny of lav)Oh she wont dare to stand up against my princess ..(smiling evilly) let her come.. and then we will show her.."

Aradhana-"maa.. you are really with me.. I am so glad maa.. thank you maa.."

Nani-"dont thank me.. I am not doing this for you.. I am doing this for my Khushi.."

Aradhana looked at her with stunned expression.

Nani-"now close your mouth and follow me outside.. we have to deal with that girl.."

While saying this both laughed and moved outside the room to watch a curious Arnav and anxious Lavanya. Arnav was in deep analysis process of the whole thing that was happening before him when the door click sound heard. Looking at both ladies face he can clearly say that there was something cook up in their heads, but what it is, he have no clues.

Nani at pass a glare towards Lavanya and moved towards where Arnav was standing.

Nani-"Chotte.. what are you still doing here? Dont you want to go to your office today?"

Arnav was stunned at his dadi's questioning tone. His dadi was adamant to convince him to cancel his all appointments and be home as his bua and Khushi is coming and now she question him like this.

Arnav-"dadi.. you only ask me to cancel my all appointment's today and be home.. then why?"

Nani-"ah.. actually not today.. I meant tomorrow.. it was your mistake to hear it as today.. you can move to your office and be here at tomorrow.. "

Arnav-"WHAT??"

Arnav a too confused with the fact that was happening before him today.

Nani-"what what?? Chotte.. go and finish your all appointment and make yourself available tomorrow.. now go fast.."

Arnav was really pissed with his dadi's behavior today, by passing an angry face he moved out of the house while calling his PA to reschedule his meetings.

After his leave nani turned towards Lavanya and moved towards her.

Nani-"you are..??"

Lavanya begin with little hesitation.

Lavanya-"Namaste nani.. I am khu.."

But before she could complete nani raised her hand to stop her.

Nani-"dont even think to take my granddaughter name.. I am asking you about your real name.."

Lavanya was to shocked and scared to hear this , thus she gulped visibly and answered.

Lavanya-" ji.. Lavanya.."

Nani-"hmm.. Hariprakash.."

There comes a man running towards nani and stood just in front of her.

Hariprakash-"ji .. maaji.."

Nani-"show the guest room to this girl.."

Lavanya was hell sacred now and looked at Aradhana for some moral support. Aradhana at once get what her mother intended to do and try to show her sense.

Aradhana-"maa.. what are you doing?"

Nani-"what? Didnt she want to stay over here? "

Aradhana-"oho.. maa.. why are making her say at guest room?"

Nani-"I am allotting her room to stay over? What is the problem in that??"

Aradhana-"oho maa.. why guest room? We have to allot her our Khushi's .."

Words not left after getting a sharp glare from her mother.

Nani-"don't even think.. she can't stay there.. it's for my Khushi .. and she will be the only one staying there.."

Hariprakash was confused hearing this conversation, so scratching his own head he put forward his confusion.

Hariprakash-"but maaji.. she is Khushi baby .. na??"

Nani was glaring at him when Aradhana thought to try her luck to make sense her mother about the situation.

Aradhana-"yeah.. that was what I was indicating maa..(making different faces) she is Khushi here before all.. (try hard) so she have to be in that room na??"

Nani-"I know ..(making an irritated face) what I am doing Aru.. (finding a suitable lie)actually her room is dirty.. so I am asking her to live in the guest room."

Hariprakash-"but maaji..(confused) I cleaned it na??"

Nani-"no.. you didn't.. it still dusty.. I want you to clean it very neatly for tomorrow..(turning towards Lavanya) she can stay at guest room.. as it is cleaned well.. its ok for you na??"

Aradhana was stunned at her mother silly cunning excuses for not letting Lavanya to move in Khushi's room. Hariprakash moved towards guest room with Lavanya following him silently cursing about her bet.

After the left Aradhana was dragged inside nanis room by nani.

Nani-"what were you going to do?? Giving her MY Khushi's room? and where will my khushi live in that guest room??"

Aradhana-"oho maa.. you are too much.. they are friends.. they can share a room.. when our khush will come she will adjust with her.."

Nani-"I don't want my Khushi to suffer.. you got it??"

Aradhana-"maa.. but.."

Nani-" Enough of discussion.. I would only try to pretend.. not in real.. and don't worry about chotte.. I can manage him.."

While saying this nani made the discussion end.

Khushi was already with her a packing , when her dad dropped in.

Kailesh-"Everything packed and ready??"

Khushi turned around and giving a sweet smile to her papa who was looking at her with a longing face. Thus sensing the sadness she run and hugged him tightly.

Khushi-"papa(softly)"

Kailesh-"I will miss you badly dear..(emotional) "

Khushi-"oho papa..(playfully hitting him) even before I go you started missing me.. (try to make her papa glad)"

Kailesh-"why not?? (fastly in low tone)Can't I miss my daughter??"

Khushi-"papa..(sadly) "

Kailesh-"oho.. (watching Khushi sad, he become all alter) I was just joking baby.. (try to make his daughter happy) now don't be sad.. Come I will drop you.. come.."

Khushi know her dad was sad due to her departure, so she try to be console him with her smooth words. But Kailesh was sad with the fact that he have to leave his daughter, but he controlled his emotions when he saw sadness in his daughter eyes while he mention about her trip and all. Kailesh is a good father; he loves his daughter to the core that he can do anything for his daughter. But there are some exceptions too., like he never wish or grand her permission to move to India.. never.. why? That he never discussed with anyone even with his beloved wife.
