Greek mythology fans...great! arey atleast they portray women as adventerous, spirited individuals... not like our sati savitri models..
Gowri...a bit wrong. few are there, but ultimately they are just like hell. i've read homer oxford, its in our course, and i hate what kinda character women do have...they r really nothing but just showpieces. i mean yeah there r goddesses who can screw u badly if u took a panga...bt otherwise...
me too read many stories from The Iliad & Odyssey.. i like Greek Myths but love Indian Myths more.. it's not true all the ladies in Indian Myth are Sati types.. as an example Annapurana is a name of Durga ma.. when Parvati becomes Annapurna she's sweet.. Anna means "food" or "grains". Purna means "full, complete and perfect". she is a soft avatar of Ma Durga.. who saves mankind from hunger..
But when Parvati becomes Kali she's destructive.. Dangerous..
personally i don't like story of Sati.. but I like story of Savitri. She tricked Yama to give back life of her husband..
I love Greek myths but i don't know why most of the gods are jealous type.. They were jealous of Helen cause of her beauty.. Hera, wife of Zeus were jealous of so many human girls..
it is said that god created human beings.. why creator is so jealous of his/her creation???
