Part 11:

Aisha: [walking away from him] usse nikaaliye warna kiss ko bhool jaahiye……

Saying that she walked away while Sameer keeps calling her from behind "arre Aisha..ek minute suno toh…."

Sameer wakes up from his dream trance and looks around….rubbing his moustache he speaks to himself, "sirf sapna tha…..[thinking] agar sach mein hua tho…….[then he himself consoles] nahi nahi…Aisha aisa nahi kahegi…..[thinking again] agar ussne aisa condition rakha toh…..[visualizing him with and without his moustache, he thinks and speaks up]

yeh ishq nahi hai aasaan!

Sameer's mind voice:

Yeh baat toh confirm karna padega…warna mera love life toh start hone se pehle hi khatam ho jaayega…..lekin yeh baat toh Aisha hi batha sakthi hai……[thinking]….but how will I ask her? Woh kya sochegi??

Sameer is caught in a web of arguments of whether to ask her or not to ask her….and also in deep thoughts about the consequences he would have to face in both ways!

Next morning, just as he arrived in office, Aisha had come to his cabin to check on his fever but he couldn't get to ask her anything….The moment she had come to him, a new case bestowed itself on them and he had to summon the team and leave for the investigation!

The whole day whizzed past without even a second to waste….So Sameer forgot all about it and focused on the case……

They came back to ETF after solving it later that evening…..

That's when the whole thing flashed back in his mind……He picked the phone, "Aisha zara mere cabin mein aana"

Aisha comes in immediately….."Boliye sir…."

Sameer smiled at her formal behavior, "ab tum woh SIR chodh sakthi ho……ab sirf hum dono hai na?"

Aisha smiles and nodded "hmm….kyun bulaaya mujhe?"

Sameer: kyun koyi reason hona zaroori hai kya? Tumhe bas dekhne keliye nahi bulaa saktha…

Aisha smiles amused at his weird romantic behavior…Raising her eye brows "of course bulaa sakthe hai……par aapke shakhal se hi patha chaltha hai ke iss bulaave ke peeche zaroor kuch khaas wajeh hai…. ….so tell me, what is it??

Sameer wondered how this lady catches him so easily…..then he thought to himself grinning, "lady cop hai…toh yeh sab toh hoga hi…..nothing misses her eyes!"

A sudden silence sets in…..Aisha is confused due to his silence and he on the other side is puzzled about how to start on it……

The he ultimately decides to speak up thinking that its now or never…….

He slowly caresses his moustache and voices "Aisha…"

Aisha looks up at him focusing on his each and every gesture and word……"haan"

Sameer: actually, mujhe kuch poochna tha….

Aisha: [intently and wonders about his hesitation to speak] go on Sameer…..aur yeh hesitation kyun??? You can ask me anything!

Sameer: [looking at her, in a serious tone and his finger pointing to his moustache] tumhe yeh pasand hai?? [Framing his words again] mera matlab they look good on me, right?

Aisha rolled her eyes and looked at him mockingly "Sameer, aap bhi na?? maanaa humein life mein thodi dher se hi sahi pehli baar pyar hua hai par isska matlab yeh toh nahi ke aap suddenly teenage lover boy bann jaao……it look too clichd, you know?…aur yeh behudha sawaal???….mera baal accha hai kya??? Mera mooch aacha hai kya?? Whats wrong with you?" [grins]

Sameer was taken aback by her sudden outpour..and accusation….he hadn't expected that…"Aisha…tum ek baar sochke bathao toh sahi….I want to know"

Aisha: [without a choice, her hands on her hips, replies] of course accha hai….it suits you…waise bhi….mooch aapka hai….aur woh aapke face pe hai…..its your choice Sameer…iss mein meri pasand na pasand kahaan se aayi??

Sameer mutters to himself "par kiss toh tumhe dena hai na?"

Luckily for Sameer, Aisha didn't hear it clearly but she heard him mutter something and she enquired "kya??"

Sameer searches for his words while Aisha adds "ek minute, aap teek toh hai na? kahi phir se bhukaar toh nahi hua hai? Let me check…"

Saying that, she goes closer and places her palm on his forehead to check……

He grabs her hand saying "main teek hoom…kuch nahi hua hai"

He doesn't leave her hand even after a few seconds…instead he draws her closer and takes her hand to his lips……He kisses her, not gently or softly this time just to check on her reaction but soon after he kisses, she just withdraws her hand from him blushing "Sameer, yeh aap kya kar rahe hai?? Koyi aa jaayega"

True to her words, as if someone had heard her say that, the very next second, Shree barged in to the room even without knocking…..

Sameer was annoyed beyond limits….he had kissed her hands for a purpose and that too taking a lot of effort and everything went for a toss due to his technical expert who had zero ethics and seemed to have even forgotten his basic manners due to the work pressure……

Sameer curses under his breath "knock bhi nahi kiya….yeh Shree toh…"

He stops mid way when Shree speaks up without even realizing what was brewing inside the room between the other 2 officers….and well he didn't even have an idea as to what he had just interrupted and what his chief was thinking about him!

Shree: Sir woh dono cases ka link mil gaya…..Arjun sir ke theory right tha…..

Sameer shrugged and told to himself "iss mein kya nayi baat hai….uss ka theory toh humesha hi sahi hota hai…..par tumaara timing bohat galat hai Shree!"

Only Aisha managed to hear that….she couldn't control her smile!

Shree wonders what was wrong and why Aisha smiled…..he enquires, "sir aapne kuch kaha?"

Sameer: haan…bas yeh keh raha tha ke tumne bohat accha kaam kiya…..Good job Shree!"

Aisha also added, "haan Shree, brilliant work…..hum bhi isi sawaal ka jawaab dhoond rahe teh aur lo tum aagaye….hai na Sir?"

She gave a sarcastic look at Sameer and he had no choice but nod…

Shree smiled and asks Aisha to come with him for some work…..So she goes with him leaving behind Sameer with his doubt still intact!

Later than night…….Sameer goes to Aisha's cabin and he finds everything, that is the situation and Aisha working at her desk, similar to what he saw in his dream….he wonders if it was going to happen the same way………

But he was determined to find out now……it might be a hit or miss……either way, he would have his answer today!

He goes closer and does the same as in his dream…She turns to him sensing him close to her…..their faces are so close…..he edges closer to her……As his lips near hers, something that doesn't happen in his dream happens here……

She speaks out enquiringly "kya hua?? Aise kya dekh rahe ho Sameer??"

And Sameer being the perfect gentleman replies back asking for her permission

"Let me kiss you Aisha"
