Belated Vishu Greetings to you both, Smita and Rashmi... May this New Year bring you and your families Good Health, Happiness, Peace and Prosperity!
a gamut of emotions displayed, rangingg from shyness to childlike innocence and joy followed by rampant desire reined in so that a trust isn't betrayed and a love is proteced! heart-warming to see khushi and arnav laughing with childlike abandon, forgetting all the heartache of the past and just enjoying the moment to the fullest... reminded me of the unbridled joy and laughter that surrounded them when, in the show, arnav tackled khushi to get at the photo and int he process broke their bed! khushi is so comfortable with him that she is as playful with as she is with her sister... nice to see arnav being so free and unfettered, with happiness just bubbling out of him...
desire and passion lurks just below the surface and sparks fly when these two are in close proximity! How could such a simple touch make her so weak, so needy, so... so... clearly reveals khushi's innocence... making the most of the opportunity that had fallen to them to share a few moments in privacy without any of their family members summoning them... can understand arnav's and khushi's plight as they are both in demand and never get a chance to spend some time with each other... at shantivan, arnav's room is like a thoroughfare with anyone walking in as he/she pleases and at the guptas, they are watched by the eagle-eyed buaji among others.
loved your vivid description of arnav battling his desire to protect their love and the trust their families have in them... the most moving part was he fighting to save her not only from his needs but hers too: And Khushi... She didn't have an ounce of self preservation in her. He had to look after her interests... no truer words have been spoken... khushi is someone who'll willingly give up her own happiness for that of others... khushi, in the throes of passion, wants to give in to the pleasant, and previously unknown, sensations arnav is raising in her... arnav having to douse the flames of desire is the height of irony! a disappointed khushi flouncing away in a huff is adorable... the shoe used to be on the other foot... what a change!
the last part was again poignant and moving, with their love giving arnav the strength to ignore his nightmarish past, igniting in him the hope to build happier memories with khushi when they revisit Lucknow and sheesh mahal with their family
