Nice chapter. It gave a lot of insights into Khushi's life. And my respect for her has risen. I love how she's still so strong, and still happy...or so I think. And I how she hopes. I think the people who go through shit are the strongest. And Khushi is a good example here.

Shashi Gupta is an ass! Rude and wanting returns from his own daughter. And what kind of man says - 'Oh God! So what? It's not like you are married. If he touched you once or twice, what was the harm? Its not like he was doing anything more. And you had such a good pay too, at the job. Now I can't even show my face to him, during our regular card games.'

So here's the reason she'll go back to ASR - she needs the money to escape from an abusive foster parent. And to take her sick aunt with her.

Hope the stas make her ale his offer as it is her only sure bet to get out of this abusive house and take her Buaji along.
