Time passed and it was finally the day of the elims. The team was all pepped up and could not wait to perform on stage. They all gathered in college as it was decided that they will go together, but Taani was nowhere to be seen. This irked the gang and they started talking bad about her.

Vicky: Humare nikalne ka time ho gaya hai aur ye Taani kahin bhi nazar nahi aa rahi hai. Pata nahi kahan reh gayi.

Nil: Khud to time se aati nahi hai aur humein lecture deti hai.

Simmi: God knows kya chahti hai vo.

Bharat: Bhailog agar hum abhi nahi niklenge to der se pahunchenge aur fir humare dance ki vatt lag jayegi...

Sharon: Swayam tumhe to pata hoga Taani kahan hai.

Swayam shook his head in negation and replied.

Swayam: Hum saath mein to nikle the par college gate par hum alag hue. Uske baad maine use dekha hi nahi.

This puzzled the whole gang. Meanwhile, Taani entered and spoke to the gang.

Taani: Chale guys, hum already bahut late hain.

Sharon: Aur uska reason tum hi ho.

Aashi: Khud to late types aati ho aur humein jaldi types karne ko bol rahi ho??

Taani kept quite while listening to these accusations. Then she spoke in a slightly authoritative manner.

Taani: Agar aap sab ka bolna khatam ho gaya ho to main kuch bolun?

Swayam: Ab aur bhi kuch bolna baaki hai kya?

Taani: Yehi ki main aap sab ke id cards aur entry passes lene gayi thi. Uske bina aapko venue par entry milti nahi milti, even if you are a registered team. And I suppose entry passes lene ki responsibility aapki thi bhai. Aap bahut busy the rehersals main, aur main nahi chahti thi ki aapka zara sa bhi time waste ho. So in short, ek captain hone ke naate aapne apni duty nahi nibhaayi. But don't fret, main aapko blame nahi karungi.

After a pause, she again addressed the whole team.

Taani: So agar aap sab ko reason pata chal hi gaya, can we not waste anymore time and sit in the bus. Vo humara wait kar rahi hai.

Saying so, she left for the bus. The whole gang stood shocked, with Swayam standing uncomfortably. Rey then whispered into Swayam's ear

Rey: Don't tell me ki tu sach mein ye requirements bhul gaya tha.

Swayam: (Hitting his forehead) I swear mujhe yaad hi nahi tha. Main itna stupid kaise ho sakta hun?

Rey: Anyways chod ye sab. Let's go varna Taani will scare the hell out of us.

All of them boarded the bus and reached the official venue of NDC. They got down with confidence reflecting on their faces. With Taani leading the group, they went to the registration desks and got themselves registered. After being shown the green rooms, all went there to prepare themselves.

While they were changing, Swayam saw Rey lost in some thought. He went to him and spoke to him.

Swayam: Dude, you ok? Kya soch raha hai?

Rey: Main ye soch raha hun ki hum log kahin Taani ke saath bahut zyaada rude to nahi ho rahe hain. I mean vo team ke liye itna kuch kar rahi hai, and instead of thanking her, hum log use bina reason suna rahe hai?

Swayam gave a thought to what Rey said, then nodded his head in agreement and spoke to him

Swayam: Dekh main is fact se deny nahi kar raha hun ki vi bahut mehnat kar rahi hai aur humare liye kaam easy kar rahi hai, par min is fact ko bhi deny nahi kar raha hun ki vo hum sab ke saath khud itna rude behave kar rahi hai. Kaam apni jagah thik hai but sahi behaviour bhi important hai. I do not know about you, par main uske behaviour ke liye itna easily forgive nahi karunga.

Soon it was time for their performance. They went to the stage and performed on their song. It went very well. The judges told them that the result would be communicated through college. They went back to the green room only to find Taani missing.

Vicky: Taani kahan hai? Abhi humare saath mein hi to thi.

Suddenly he noticed that his bag was open. He rushed towards it to check its contents only to find his valuables missing.

He then exclaimed loudly

Vicky: Mera phone aur wallet nahi hai yahan par.

The whole gang was puzzled on hearing it. Then Rey spoke

Rey: Dhang se check kar, vahin par hoga.

Vicky then emptied the contents of his bag and threw them on the floor, but to no avail. This worried the whole gang and they checked their respective bags, only to find their valuables missing too. This angered the whole gang. Just then Taani entered, with two of the crew member, who were carrying refreshments for the gang. Swayam then spoke

Swayam: Kahan thi tum?

Taani: Aap sab ke refreshments lane gayi thi. Kyun kya hua?

Rey: Itna sab kuch ho gaya aur tum puch rahi ho kya hua?

Taani (puzzled): Matlab?

Nil: Taani shayad tumhein humare cheezon ki fikar nahi hai, par humein hai.

Taani: Arre guys lekin hua kya?

Sharon: Hum sab ke mobiles aur wallets chori ho gaye hain

Taani (Shocked): WHAT??

There was a long pause where the gang looked at her in anger while she tried to digest the ongoing events. After that, Taani spoke

Taani (Shocked): Aisa kaise ho sakta hai, hum sab jab nikal gaye the to main ye room lock karva diya tha.

Swayam: Taani jo kuch bhi ho, bottom line is ki humare valuables chori ho gaye the.

Taani: Aisa ho hi nahi sakta. Aap sab yahin wait kijiye, main pata karke aati hun ki humare greenroom mein kaun aaya tha.

Sharon: Taani let it be. Isse pehle ki baat aur bigad jaaye, hum sab college vaapis chalet hain.

Taani: Arre Sharon par refreshments...

Swayam: Nahi chahiye. After all this, my hunger has died.

The whole gang walked out of the room, leaving behind a puzzled cum shocked Taani.

In another room

Voice 1: Kaam ho gaya?

Voice 2: Haan sir. Jaisa aapne kaha, vaisa hi hua.

The guy paid him a large amount and gestured him to leave. He then spoke to himself

Voice 1: Poor Taani. Pehle gang se, phir Rey se aur finally Swayam se tuska jhagda ho hi gaya. Ab main tumhe barbaad karke chodunga. Sweetheart, just wait and watch...

Who was the person who is trying to take advantage of the situation and is adamant on ruining Taani? Who was it who knew Taani so well?? For that, you have to wait . Till then keep guessing and happy reading😊😊
