Part 3:
The line goes dead before Arjun could reply...
Shree had judged that it was her and was already on his futile attempt to track the call...
Arjun furiously puts the phone down and mutters to himself "kaun ho tum?" as he clicks open his inbox to receive the new mail...

The new mail was about some illegal activities happening in the city's big reputed mall...
His eyes widened in shock as he read it and his lips uttered "WHAT ??"
He tried replying to the mail but the reply got bounced the very next instant...He was annoyed to the core and smacked her mentally..."Come on...aise news bhej ke chup nahi beit sakthi tum...Damn you!"
He also tried calling her back but the phone was switched off...
"What nonsense! Iss ladki aise hi kisi pe illzaam kaise lagaayegi? Aur chahthi hai ke ETF ek anonymous caller ke baat sunnke action le..."
Rathod's reactions weren't any better...he also had to think before jumping into this...
It was a big mall and owned by an influential and rich person...There were other big names who owned shops in the mall too...One wrong step could make things tough for ETF...
ETF team had mixed opinions though...
Arjun Rawte was pissed off big time because a girl was giving him such chaskaas...The worst part was that he too felt that there could be truth in her allegations against the mall but his ego was not letting him admit it openly!
Rathod, always being the rule follower wasn't able to accept such accusations from an anonymous caller!
Shree was sporting a disappointed look as he wasn't able to track her...he felt as if the girl had proved him incompetent!
Liza was having her fun time as always trying to taunt and tease her specky sen for not having able to track those calls and mails...She mocked him big time
"kya baat hai...koyi toh hai jo specky sen se bhi aage hai technology mein! Not bad! Not bad at all!"
That only added to Shree's despair...he stared at Liza for those insensitive mocks...He would deal with her later...he thought to himself "tumse toh main chun chun ke bathla loonga Miss Liza D'Cruz...you wont be spared for this insult!...ab filaal uss ladki se nipat loom..."
Liza wasn't spared of equally burning glares from Rawte and Rathod for that playful comment...especially from Arjun! He was already annoyed and Liza's comment only added fuel to the fire...
Liza muttered a silent apology to the RR duo and gestured that she had some important work...Without looking back once, she rushed into the lab thanking her stars for sparing her "phewww...thank god...bacch gayi!"

Aisha was somehow in favour of Miss wrong number "sir, humein kuch toh step lena chahiye...we cant ignore it just like that!"
Rathod was quick to reply "agar hum kuch step le aur woh information galat nikhla toh..."
Arjun spoke up "haan iss ladki ka kuch atha patha hai nahi...toh kis basis pe hum cover up karenge? We wont have any justification if the operation fails!"
Chotu responded "toh ab hum kya karenge sir??...kya iss information ko aise hi ignore karein??"
Arjun replied "nahi...bas ek din intezaar karenge...woh zaroor waapas call karegi...phir kuch plan work out karenge!"

That night, Arjun was in his cabin as always but the unusual thing was that he was waiting for Miss wrong number's call...He impatiently spoke to himself when the call didn't come at the time he expected it..."Miss wrong number, kahaan ho tum?"
As if she sensed his mind in telepathy, the phone rang and Arjun picked it up quickly...but he didn't show any anticipation in his voice "Hello"
Voice: main hoom...mujhe yaad hai na?
Arjun: [speaks up as if not interested] haan bolo...kaise phone kiya?
Voice: looks like ACP sir is upset! Kahi mujhse toh nahi...
Arjun: [irritated by her antics] come to the point!
Voice: well koyi new point nahi hai...wahi hai jo kal bathaaya tha...[pauses for him to reply but he doesn't...so she continues]...aaj ek breaking news expect kar rahi thi par kuch bhi nahi hua...I want to know the reason! ETF ne kuch action kyun nahi li??? Itna tips diya tha maine aur aap logon ne kuch nahi kiya...Why?
[Those angry statements and questions from her suddenly rang some bell in his mind...he mentally noted it down and then continued without giving her any doubt]
Arjun: [casually replied back] tumhe breaking news dena ETF ka kaam nahi hai, Miss...[stopped mid way assuming she would continue and spill out her name]
Voice: [sarcastically] oops...thats an old trick Mr Arjun...yeh ladki itni aasaani se aapke haat lagne waali nahi hai!
Arjun: [equally sarcastically] main bhi itni aasaani se haar maan ne waalon se nahi hoom... accha hoga tum apne aap saamne aa jaavo...else you will be caught Miss wrong number!
Voice: whoa whoa...challenge...I like that!
Arjun: Challenge nahi, jo hone waala hai wahi batha raha hoom...
Voice: All the best! [pausing for a moment and then adds]lekin iss beech mein uss case ko bhooliyega matth...it will open up the real faces of so many respectable people in this city!
Arjun: agar tumaare baaton mein sacchaayi hai toh ETF se koyi nahi bachega...thats a promise!
Voice: i know...isiliye toh aapko information deh rahi hoom...So...All the best for that as well! Bye!
[Before he could reply, the line goes dead...but this time Arjun wasn't annoyed...
Instead, he was sporting a smile which meant that he had caught something which could be the pulse of this entire drama]
He immediately dialled Shree's number "Shree, iss city ke saare female investigative journalists ka ek list banao...haan jo magazines and newspapers mein hai aur jo free lance work karthe hai...sab ke naam aur patha nikhaalo...haan jaldi!"
Once he cuts the phone, he tells to himself "tum mujhe isi list mein se milogi Miss wrong number...I am sure!"
So Mr ACP is one step closer to finding Miss wrong number...
