Part 11B:
After a long moment of silence, he turned to her side and enquired,
"tumne uss store se kisse call kiya tha Sakshi?"
He was quite sure that she called up someone from there and had informed the person about her whereabouts and obviously the person, the traitor himself had in turn let it out to the gang who were behind her life!
All along, he was thinking about the whole attempt and could judge that it wasn't a result of a big planning...it was all planned instantly...and he was sure that the entire plan came into light in a matter few minutes...
So here begins a new game altogether...So far she played a hide and seek with him and now they play a game of life and death...where a win means life and a loss means nothing but death!

Together they start this game and in the process will they find love?...Will miss wrong number ever become his right number? Thats a question which only time will answer!
But now, lets gets back to his question...
"Kya tumne uss store se kisi ko call kiya Sakshi?" he rephrased and repeated the question when he got silence as her reply...
Sakshi casually replies, "nahi toh...maine kisi ko call nahi kiya.."
Arjun: jhoot matth bolo Sakshi...mujhe patha hai ke tumne zaroor kisi se baat ki aur usse yeh bhi bathaaya ke tum kahaan par ho...Am I right?
Sakshi: [rolling her eyes] yeah right...maine baat kiya tha...par call maine nahi ussne kiya tha...
Arjun lets a sigh of anger and comments, "Damn Sakshi...tumaari word play aur sab chaalaakhi bass mujhse hi hai, huh?
Sakshi: [grins] haan woh toh hai...tumaare saath khelne ka mazaa hi kuch aur hai Arjun...meri takkhar ke ho na? Shaayad isiliye...
Arjun flares up ,"SAKSHI...main yahaan serious baat kar raha hoom aur tumhe khel ki padhi hai...for once, be serious Sakshi! Tumaari jaan jaa saktha tha...do you even realize that???"
Sakshi: [serious tone] I know baat serious hai aur meri life khatre mein hai Arjun but uss keliye aise ghussa ya serious rehne se kya hoga...jo hogaya usse bathal nahi sakthi aur jo hokhar rahega usse bhi bathal nahi...
Arjun turns to her side glaring and instantly cuts her short, "SHUT UP! USSE ZAROOR ROKH SAKTHE HAI WRONG NUMBER"
In his impulsive anger or what, he had called her wrong number after a long time...it sounded good...she looked at him as well...Their eyes lock for a brief emotional moment before he snaps out and turns away from her...
Arjun: [snapping out] coming back to the point...toh kisne kiya tha call??
Sakshi: [surprised by his sudden change of topic and mood] ussne matlab mere friend Nikhil ne...
Arjun raised his eyebrows, "Nikhil Chopra"
Sakshi: haan...you know him??
Arjun chuckles, "maine already kaha tha ke main tumaare saare network aur connections dhoond nikhaal chukaa hoom...samjhi ya samjhaavum?"
Sakshi blew her hair up irritated by his trespassing skills while Arjun stopped the SUV for a moment and quickly dialled Shree, "Shree...Sakshi ke phone pe aakhri call Nikhil ne kiya tha...usske number track karo aur mujhe bathao ke iss waqt woh kahaan hai??...aur ussne last call kahaan se kiya tha??"
Shree: yes sir...main thodi dher mein aapko call karunga...
Arjun: teek hai...but jaldi...remember its urgent...
They cut the call and wait silently...
In the next 2 minutes, Shree calls back, "sir Nikhil apne ghar par hi hai...I mean usska mobile ka location wahi hai...uss ne Sakshi ko wahi se call kiya tha...aur wahi call usska aakhri call bhi hai"
Arjun: [thinking deeply] ok..Shree...
Sakshi was a silent spectator to all this...
Once Arjun cuts the call and resumes his drive towards Nikhil's place, she enquires, "don't tell me that Nikhil is involved in this attack..."
Arjun: [snaps her] what if I tell you that...[before she could open her mouth to argue, he snaps her agains adding] now dont you dare tell me that he is your most sincere and true friend...
Sakshi: [shaking her head in disbelief] of course, he is...woh aisa kabhi nahi karega...woh mujhe betray nahi...
Arjun snaps her short again angrily..."enough Sakshi...usska dhosti ka depth mujhe matth samjhaavo..."
Sakshi: haan samjhaane ka kaam toh poori tarah tumaara hai right? Koyi aur ko chance dena toh impossible hai na?
Sakshi was about to go on and on when Arjun shuts her up...
Arjun: [fed up of her nonstop chatter] yeh bhakwaas bandh karo aur thodi dher chup beito...mujhe sochne dho...

She was silent after that though she was muttering things silently...
After a few minutes, he glanced to her side and saw her fiddling with her phone...he immediately enquires, "tumaara phone ka backup hai na?"
Sakshi: [rolling her eyes and showing off her phone] haan obviously...par kyun?
Arjun: [casually] kuch nahi bas confirm kar raha tha...
[In a quick sudden action, he grabbed the phone from her hands and threw it into a side canal that they just passed]
Sakshi: [furious] what the hell???
Arjun: yeh mujhe bohat pehle kardena chahiye tha...ab tumhe jo bhi call karna hai mujhe bathaake mere phone se karlena...
Sakshi: Arjun...stop the car...mujhe meri phone abi chahiye...
Arjun: no way lady...ab se wahi hoga jo main chahtha hoom! Aur ab main chahtha hoom ke tum uss phone ko bhool jaao aur chup chaap beito!
Sakshi was continuously ranting about her super cool phone and cursing him and her ill fortune...
"meri phone lakhon mein ek tha...it was my best friend and true companion...usske bina toh Sakshi Sakshi hi nahi hogi aur tumaara wrong number...woh bhi nahi rehungi!...OMG...yeh kya hogaya??? meri hi kismet karaab hai ke main phirse tumse mili...Shit!"

As they neared Nikhil's place, he parked the SUV a little away and well hidden from the main road...
Arjun got out of the SUV and instructed her to stay there..."tum yahi beite raho...main jaakhe dekhtha hoom..."
Sakshi: [closing back the opened door angrily] parr...
Arjun showing his hand and shutting up her protests...
But just after two steps ahead, he looked around and then at her...he quickly came back to her and asked her to come along with him...He knew she was crazy and even more crazy for her phone...He couldn't trust her...she might just run away back to search for her phone in the road side canal!
She shrugged "whatever" and instantly jumped out...she walked along with him...
He took out his gun and entered the compound ducking and also forcing her to duck...Slowly, cautiously, they step into his house...the door was open...
It is pitch dark inside...She calls out "Nikhil...where are you??"
He instantly pins her to the corner and closes her mouth shut..."SHHH" he hushes her to be quiet!
He was so intimately close to her...and it was the first time that he touched her like that...The closeness was giving her a tremble and her eyes opened wide...He didn't seem to be affected much but it surely felt something strange within her...She tried to resist him and also to push him a bit but he was way too stronger for the weak attempts she did!
His intense eyes gestured her to keep silent and then he freed her and asks her to follow him...When he was convinced that there was none around, he asked her to search for the lights...
He felt something else was certainly wrong there...
She knew nook and corner of Nikhil's house...so she directly went and switched on the lights...
The sight that she saw sent a shrill down her spines...Nikhil lay dead in a pool of blood...
Arjun was stunned too although he had sensed something terribly wrong the moment Shree told him the location of Nikhil's mobile! His mobile lay under the sofa near him...
Sakshi rushed to Nikhil's lifeless body...She had just touched the body when Arjun pulled her away...Her hands were already soaked in blood when Arjun dragged her away and asked her to keep calm!
She was in a state of shock seeing her friend in that state...yes she had seen lifeless bodies before but this was a terrible shock for her...she couldn't control her tears...she cried out "NIKHIL"
Arjun held her back and patted her "shhh Sakshi...its ok..."
She crashed into him and cried clutching his shirt tightly...He was reminded of Roshni's brutal murder that moment...He had screamed the same way as well...a dear one's death is totally unbearable...he knew that and he could empathize with Sakshi's pain and her state of mind...
She had seen death before closely...even the death of dear ones...but nothing, no amount of experience prepares us for another death...each time, the pain, the tears, the agony...everything is the same as if it were the first time!
He let her cry for a while and then she pulled back from him wiping the tears...controlling herself, she looked back at Nikhil! He was a great friend...she remembered the moments, be it happy or tensed ones, she and the entire group of 9 friends had spent together...All of it looked so distant now!

Arjun had already started his mental calculations and theories of what must have happened...The attackers must have held Nikhil captive and made him call Sakshi to know where she was...He could see that Nikhil was tortured and beaten up too...
Without a choice, Nikhil must have obeyed them...And then they would have bumped him off when their job was done!

Arjun instantly called Rathod...Rathod advised him to take away Sakshi from there before the media arrived...
Rathod and Aisha were the first to arrive at the crime spot...they made sure that Arjun and Sakshi left the place before anyone else came...Liza, Shree and Chotu were also on their way...
Arjun dragged away a reluctant and inconsolably crying Sakshi to the SUV...
He could see that they were fighting against a terribly ruthless and horrid enemy or enemies...but whom? And he was damn sure that Sakshi was hiding something which was the root cause of all these happenings...
He had to talk to her soon...but now, he let her be...she needed time and space to deal with whatever had happened to her friend!
