Part 6:

A stern manly voice welcomed her "Welcome Miss wrong number uff Miss Sakshi Anand"

She recognized instantly who it was and responded "aakhir aapne mujhe dhoond hi liya..."

He switched on the table lamp near him...and his face sported a faint sarcastic look...a winning look!...While she still stood in the dark, a little far away from him and he could see only her outline...

Arjun got up from the sofa and stood crossing his arms against his chest..."ab toh tum haar gayi na??...mujhse jeethna mushkil hi nahi naa mumkin hai miss Sakshi?"

His attitude and egoistic talk made her stubborn too...what if he had managed to find her identity, he hadn't seen her yet...that sparked a slight mischief inside her crazy head...

She wasn't gonna give up to him so easily! She couldn't let him win now!

Sakshi: [lets out a short laugh] not so soon ACP sir...not so soon...we meet only when I decide to...

Arjun raised his eyebrows and let a sarcastic smile meaning what the hell could she do now...her cover was already blown out beyond repair and there he was at her place right before her...

It was just a matter of few steps that separated them...he spoke up sarcastically "accha...so then, miss wrong number, just decide that its right now! Ab humein milne se koyi nahi rokh saktha...tum bhi nahi...samjhe ya samjhaavum?

Saying that, he started walking towards her...

Sakshi stepped back in the darkness voicing "don't be so sure...ab bhi main bohat kuch kar sakthi hoom..."

Arjun was plain amused by her confidence and stood in his tracks trying to figure out her plan...She was just being over confident...he guessed that and smirked!

She blew a flying kiss to his direction in reply to his smirk and sprinted to the door...

Before he realized what she was planning, she was out of the door...

Bolting the door from outside, she voiced out "ab patha chala main kya kar sakthi hoom...Accept the fact that I am way too smarter than you...Good bye Arjun"

He rushed to the door and tried to open it...it wasn't opening...he stamped the ground for having let her go from the tip of his nose...He banged the door harshly and shouted "Damnit...itni chaalaak ladki, maine aaj tak nahi dekhi..."

He called up Chotu who was waiting for him in the parallel lane to some and release him from there...

As he waited, he grinned to himself "whatever, ab tum bacch ke kahaan jaavogi Miss wrong number...aaj nahi toh kal tumhe mere saamne aana hi hoga!"

Late into the night, both of them scanned the entire area and the possible places where she could go but there was no trace of her and it appeared as if she had just vanished into thin air...

After a futile search, Arjun retired back to his room in the lodge when his phone rang...

He almost blast into the phone because of his anger "HELLO"

She spoke up from the other side..."OMG...itna ghussa teek nahi hai ACP sir...[she waited for a second for him to reply but he didn't...so she added] aaj aap aaraam se so jaahiye...i mean stop searching for me...main milne waali nahi...but don't you worry...bohat jald milenge, ok?...btw, I am really curious to know how you found me..."

Arjun: pehle saamne aavo...phir patha chal jaayega...

Sakshi: [shrugging] okay...No problem!...I can wait!

Arjun: tum aise bhaag kyun rahi ho??? Your cover is gone...and I know you now...phir yeh chupa chupi kyun?? Aise karke tum khud apne liye problems badaa rahi ho! Itni raaat ko ghar se bhaagne ki kya zaroorat thi? Laaparwaayi aur paagalpann ki bhi ek haddh hoti hai Sakshi...

Sakshi grinned "aah aah...wrong number sounds better!...call me that way...I love it"

Arjun was flaring up again "mazaag bandh karo...seedhe seedhe bathao...kahaan ho tum?"

Sakshi: Relax Arjun...I have so many secret hideouts and I am in one such place...[grinning and adds sarcastically]...aur iss jagah ko aap kabhi dhoond nahi sakthe...

Arjun:[angrily] Mujhse chupthe chupthe tum koyi badi museebat mein phas matth jaana...

Sakshi could sense the concern and worry in his anger but she replied naughtily "ohhh ab ACP sir ko iss wrong number keliye chinta ho rahi hai...WOW...I like it...

Arjun: cut the crap Sakshi...

Sakshi indeed cuts the crap and voices softly,"don't worry Arjun...I am in a safe place..."

Arjun was a bit touched by her soft reply...perhaps it was the first she spoke in that tone...he nodded "hmmm...[a long moment of silence lasts and then he adds] bye wrong number...and plz make sure that you stay safe!"

Sakshi nods, "hmmm"

And the line goes dead...

Arjun didn't know why it tensed him when he thought about her wandering all alone during the night and he wanted to hear her speak...he was anxious to know that she was in a safe place...

Her crazy act of running away like that sure blew his fuse out of proportion...More than the feeling that he was fooled by her again, he was angry and concerned about her safety...He knew dangers already lurked behind her...Adding to it, she had run away into the darkness of the night all alone!

Sakshi had landed in another dark corner of the city...her sanctum...her next private place after her home... She was sure that he must be searching for her...That's when she decided to call and let him know that she was safe...

While she sunk into the couch, she felt a little bad to have done that prank to him...But his egoistic arrogant talk had made her decide this way else she would happily surrendered accepting defeat...but his over confident talk as if victory was always on his side drove her crazy and made her take it up as a challenge...While taking this decision, all she had in mind is to get away from there and not show her face to him at that moment...

She didn't know why but she had fun teasing him that way...

A little play time with the ever akdu ACP was indeed interesting...very interesting!

Shree woke up screaming "UDI BABA!!!"

He looked around...it was his own room and his own bed...

The clock showed 5AM...he spoke to himself "Woh kya tha??? Sapna hi tha na?? Of course sapna hi tha...warna main aur uss chudail ko...nahi nahi...ho hi nahi saktha"

A little while ago...

Shree was all dressed up in a creamy sherwaani with golden thread work done all over...he looked super smart and handsome today...after all it was his wedding!

He stood at the altar awaiting his bride...He realized very late that it was a church...he wondered to himself why was he marrying in the church...A bit confused, he looked around...All his team mates were present...smiling and gesturing a thumbs up at him...wishing him all happiness!

Chotu in a half white kurta...Rathod Sir looked terrific in his grey suit...oh wait, next to him...was it really Aisha??? She was gorgeous, and clad in a peach designer saree...WOW they looked perfect together...Were they a couple already??? Well he didn't know more about it...

Then he spotted Arjun sir, in his trademark black attire...hot, handsome and dashing as always...and a bubbly girl stood right next to him dressed in a red lehenga...She was continuously giggling as if she had heard a big joke and her hand covered most of her face...her face wasn't visible...that reminds me, she could be miss wrong number...hmmm...Arjun sir ke itne khareeb...sochne waali baat toh hai! Kahi humaare gossip sach toh nahi ho rahe...

Bas woh nahi dikh rahi...kahaan gayi woh chudail?? Lagtha hai maine invite hi nahi kiya ...accha hua...kam se kam mere hone waali biwi ke saamne mere taangh toh nahi keechegi...aur haan, specky keh ke mere izzat ka dhajjiyaan nahi udaayegi! Thank god she isn't here!...looks up and silently sent a prayer!

A few minutes of impatient waiting prevails...

Shree muttered "arre mere dulhan kahaan hai??? Koyi usse bhulaavo yaar...usse dekhne ko mere aankhen taraz gayi hai...aisa lagtha hai ke maine usse aaj tak nahi dekha hai...ab aur wait nahi kar saktha..."

Soon there was a hustle bustle and someone voiced out "the bride is coming.."

Shree stretched up and looked to the direction to catch a glimpse of his bride...As she walked through the crowd and neared the altar, he saw her...she was dressed in a white wedding gown and had a veil on her face...So he couldn't see her face...But thats ok...she looked quite hot and ravishing otherwise...she must be beautiful as well...He smiled to himself shyly...

She stood right next to him and both facing the priest now...her aura and charming presence made him forget everything else...he felt a numbness within him as if he had all of a sudden become deaf to all other sounds...

All he wanted was to see her and hear her speak to him...He nodded to all questions put forth by the priest without even hearing what it was...She nodded to the questions too...He was asked to tie a chain around her neck which he did as well...

There was a deafening round of claps as the priest announced them as "husband" and "wife"...

Then the priest spoke up "you may now kiss your bride..."

Shree happily turned to her side and slowly lifted her veil...He got the shock of his life...There she was sporting a toothy smile at him and a naughty wink...

"Liza D' Cruz, his only enemy was his wife now"

"Nooo" he screamed out...and she replied "no what Specky?"

Thats when he woke up with a startle and realized that it was all a dream...such a crazy weird dream!

"Me and her! No, never"...Saying that, he sunk back to his bed wiping his forehead still recovering from his worst nightmare!
