"Buaji, I need to talk to you about something very important. Please come with me to the living room immediately." Shyam said to her with faked tension in his voice.

"Haan, Babua bolo what is the matter? Why are you looking so tensed?" She asked with concern. Shyam was the best thing that could have happened to their family and most importantly Khushi and she will not let anything destroy this relation; she thought with determination. She was always biased towards Khushi between Khushi and Payal. It was not as if she did not love Payal but she loved Khushi a little more and saw herself in her.

"Buaji, I know that this is too early and Khushiji has just finished her college but I have no other option left." He said sounding as much defeated as he can.

"Aree babua, first tell me what is the matter? I am sure we can definitely find a way through it.

"Buaji , as I have told you before, my parents died when I was twenty three. They have been visiting this particular orphanage "Seva Anathayla" for a long time then. My mom got attached to a particular girl Riya very much and wanted to adopt her but before this could have happened they both passed away."He said and turned his face with faked tears..

"It was my mom's last wish that I adopt her but as per Indian law a man alone cannot adopt a girl. Now, one more couple has shown interest in adopting her but I want to fulfill her last wish and I can't wait anymore. They are not ready to give her custody to me till the time I get married. So, I wanted that my and Khushiji's marriage takes place within this month so that I can apply for the marriage certificate by the next month and get Riya's custody as soon as possible."

"Par babua you are a lawyer and can't you make your way and get Riya's custody without getting married? Khushi is just twenty two now. How will she be able to manage all these things?"

"What are you saying buaji? How can you think so low of me! You very well know that I am not that kind of a man.I very well understand that Khushi is still not ready for marriage but I have no choice left. If she is not ready for this then I have no option left other than to marry someone else." He replied and faked to be hurt.

" Aree, no..no babua what are you saying? I will talk to Shashi babua today itself and tell him how important this is for you. I am sure that he will understand and give his consent. You just start preparing for your marriage." She smiled at him and thought how lucky they were to get a son in law like him. Who in today's world is this honest? No way in hell, she is letting him marry someone else than Khushi and if she has to play some dirty then so be it. After all, at the end of the day she is doing this just for her child's future and happiness.

"See, what all I have to do to get you married to me Khushiji? Only if you had agreed in the first place then none of this would have happened. Now I will have to adopt that girl Riya but nothing matters as long as this serves my purpose." He thought and walked out of the room planning how to convince the caretaker to say the same story infront of Shashi and Buaji.

" Yeah, Aman did you find what my jijaji is doing here?" He has not told a thing to Anjali till now. He knows how much she loves her husband and will be shattered to know about this. And what if he is wrong? Maybe she was a relative of Jijaji? He has to be sure before telling anything to Di.

"Sir, he lives as a paying guest here with someone named Shashi Gupta and is going to get engaged with her daughter Khushi Kumari Gupta. He was also spotted at an orphanage named Seva Anathayala. He is planning to adopt a girl named Riya from there."

"What the hell Aman! Are you sure about this? If this information proved to be wrong then be ready to be fired!"

His Di is there waiting impatiently for his return and here he is planning on getting married again! He will surely not let this happen. That scoundrel will have to pay for his deed.

"Aman, does the girl's family know that he is married before? And where is this orphanage located? Give me its phone number and address now. I want to go there myself."

"Sir, I am not too sure whether they know about him being married or not and I will email you the address and phone number of the orphanage within one hour. Is there anything else that I need to do Sir?

" No , as of now you don't need to do anything. I will go and talk to that girl myself. Don't tell anything to Di and other family members just now."

He will himself talk to Khushi. The feeling that he felt the first time he saw her got surfaced again. Maybe he is wrong and she is innocent. He smiled remembering the way she blushed and decided to go to orphanage the next day.
