Warning: the following OS is completely crazy but based on a true story. It will not make much sense unless you've read my FF-Mind Games (go to my profile for blog link).
OS: Taffy's First Rabba Ve
"I'm bored.. I'm bored.. I'm so so bored bored.." I sang in my head as I watched her wrestle with my dog leash.
Almost laughing, I purposely sat on the floor, refusing to budge. Try to move me now, Tina..
She brushed her hair out of her face, frowning down at me. I thought I heard her mutter 'crazy dog' but I wasn't sure.
"Come on, Taffy!" she said, exasperated as I stayed put. Grabbing the leash, she tried to slide me out the door. "You're getting fat, you need some exercise."
I WOL (woofed out loud) at that, rolling onto my back.
She sighed, trying a different tactic. "Not even for a treat?"
I rolled my eyes at her. Did she really think that would work? I kept a stash of my favorite treats in my secret spot.
I shook my head out of my collar, my chin held high as I walked in the opposite direction.
"TAFFY!"
I didn't reply. I was giving her the silent treatment.
After all she was the one who had not included me in my favorite story, Mind Games for several chapters now. Did she not know I was the star of that story!! Plus, I missed my IF buddies! What was a dog to do?
Answer: Snack! Snack! Snack!
So I'd gotten a bit chubby, but it only heightened my handsomeness. I stopped at a mirror, staring at myself admiringly--like ASR.
I almost got depressed again as I thought of him. Arns and Khush aww. I missed them so much!
Sighing, I went to my secret stash, munching on my doggy treat. I almost felt better, but not really.
The next day, Tina tricked me. She picked me up with a big smile and my resolve crumbled. For just a moment. Then I was back to being stone-puppy.
As we drove along a familiar road, I barked the entire way. Tina just turned the music up, smiling brightly.
The dog park was pretty crowded. I frowned as I stepped out, swiping at some grass as if it was Snakewa.
"Go, Taffy! Go get the ball!" shouted Tina, throwing my favorite red ball. I just stared up at her and then sat on my butt. I was still mad.
"Taffy, come on! No more watching Arnav-Khushi love scenes and VMs on youtube if you don't get that ball--Now!"
Ahh, that was just mean. Shaking my head with disappointment at her, I ran toward the ball. I was so focused, I never noticed anything in my way until I collided with someone.
I WOL, falling to the side. The dog shook her head, her fur shining golden in the sunlight (sort of like shirtless Arnav in Desert Heat). My bark froze. I stared at her mesmerized. Rabba ve played in the cool, crisp air--at least I heard it.
She was the one to break our eyelock.
Almost at once, I went up to her. "What's your name? I'm Taffy!"
"Go away," she said snobbishly, hurrying toward her human.
What attitude! I watched her awestruck. I liked her dammit!
Tina started talking to my Princess's owner. I smiled when she pet the other dog.
"What's her name?" she asked.
Oh, see this is why we dogs keep you humans around. I hugged Tina, and she looked at me as if I'd gone crazy again.
"Shelly," said the young human.
Shelly.. rabba ve..
That was two weeks ago. Now I insist on going to the doggy park everyday. Tina's annoyed with me, but I've lost some weight.
I have not seen Shelly again, but am on the lookout. Things are finally looking up for moi, and I'm even invited to the big arhi wedding in MG.
Who knows? Maybe I'll get another Wabba Ve too..
Muahh! -Taffy
