The Engagement

The hotel Taj was beautifully decorated. It was it up magnificently. It had to be, after all it was the engagement of the two most richest business men's children. Mr. Gautam Raiprakash's daughter's engagement with Ranveer Shekhawat's son. The ring ceremony was going.

The girl was wearing a beautiful, blue colored lehenga with a little amount of jewelry and the boy was wearing a white shrewani… he was looking so hot! For a outsider they both were looking perfect for each other. Both of them complementing each other's features! The JODI made in HEAVEN!

The boy forwarded his hand. She holded his hand, and just this mere touch on each other's body, sent some kind of electric current through their body. Then the party goes on… everyone is eating, dancing, gossiping, and chilling out. Sharon was standing with her cousins and was chatting with them, suddenly when a small girl comes and pulls Sharon's dupatta, sharon turns around, and

Sharon: kya hua sweetheart?

Girl: who, yeh aapke liye…

Handing her a note… sharon was about to ask who gave her this, but before that the girl went away.

Sh: are suno toh--- bata toh do yeh kisne diya hai…

But the girl was long gone before sharon could further ask her anything…

Sharon, opens the note, the note said…

Sharon,

I wanna talk to you…

Sharon, was confused… tensed… not knowing what to do…

Sh*herself*: yeh mujhse kyu baat karna chahte hai? Kya koi problem hai?

After thinking for a little while, she decided go, to the terrace, a "talk".

Swayam, on the other hand, was already on the terrace. He was leaning on the terrace railing. Suddenly when he heard his name in the sweetest voice possible. He turned around, and there she was, standing in the blue lehenga, her gaze down on the floor, because she was shy, her cheeks had a little touch of red!

Sh: swayam aapne bulaya…

Swayam coming out of the trance, was thinking how to start…

Sw: haa, wo-wo-… sharon lets sit na, waha chairs hai…

Sharon without saying anything, just goes along with him and both are now seated opposite to each other…

Sw: who mujhe tumse milna tha…

Sh: hm…kyu?

Sw: dekho sharon, its just that we both don't know each other, right, so I just wanted to know you, as you will be my WIFE after some years after our studies…

Stressing on the word "WIFE". A sudden blush crept upon sharon's face a she looked down to hide it from swayam, but it did not go unnoticed by swayam… swayam smiled seeing, just in this very very short time, what effect his words and he himself had on her…

Sh: um… kya jaana chahte hai aap?

But my parents still live in London that you already know cuz you have been living with your family on the same street. So, I am right now in my second year of college. I am an Arts student. I love dancing, its my passion, and I am a member of the dance team of my college. Bas dat's it.

Sw: wow sharon I am impressed, u dance!!!

Sh: yaa, I mean dance is my life… but now it's your turn, say something about yourself….

Sw: um… hi! I am swayam shekhawat

She was all red now… she was blushing to the core…

Sw: so yeah I am swayam shekhawat, soon to be sharon Raiprakash's hubby. I live in London. I am also in second year of college, am an Arts student. And I too love dance. I am a dancer. Its my passion. I was the captain of my dance team of my

College team back in London. bas that's me!

Sh: wow you to a dancer… am impressed!

But just then sharon's cell rings

Sh: just a minute…

Swayam just nodded…

Sharon returned after the call… and said..

Sh: we have to go down, everyone's searching for us…

Saying this sharon turns to go, but swayam grabs her wrist, she just stops there, does not even turn back… swayam goes near her, closer, more closer, and whispers in her ear huskily…

Sw: you are looking very beautiful today sharon…

Saying this he goes out of the terrace. Sharon was still in a trance, and was blushing deeply. She was looking like a tomato!!! : P

Sharon recovered from the trance, and blushing went down…

Sharon was coming down the stairs, when she saw swayam looking at her and smiling, she blushed, and smiled back at him. She looked here and there, and mouthed a "thank you".

To which swayam mouthed "welcome"

Sharon smiles and goes to her mother who was searching her for a long time now…

Smriti: are sharon beta kaha thi tum?

Sh: kahin bhi toh nahi, bas yahi thi…

Smriti: okay, but now chalo, we have to go, ghar jaana hai phir hume humare flight bhi toh board karni hai, humare flight 10:00 ki hai and its already 8:00… come on…

Sh: okay…

Sharon was thinking

Sh *thinking*: mujhe jaane se pehle ek baar swayam ko milna tha, I mean last bye bhi bol na tha…

On the other hand, nandni was searching for swayam,,,

Nandni: kaha the tum bata? I was searching you for god knows how long…

Sw: are who maa bas yahi par tha… kya hua..?

Nandni: kuch nahi, hume ghar jaana hai… humare 10:00 ki flight hai… and its already 8:00 okay toh chalo…

Sw: okay…

Sw*thinking*: ek baar toh sharon se milna tha… bye bolna tha…

In the Parking Lot

Both the families were in the parking lot. Nandni and Smriti were talking to each other, Ranveer and Gautam were gone to get their cars, and sharon and swayam were just standing beside their moms starring at each other. Just then both the dads arrived in their respective cars…

Gautam: Smriti, sharon chalo.. nandni bhabhi milte hai 10:00 ko, airport pe…

Nandni: haa, bhai sahib milte hai…

As both the families were neighbors + "samdhis" and were settled in London they were going back to London, as they were settled there.

Smriti was already seated in the car, and nandni was also seated in their car. Sharon was going to sit in the car, when she heard swayam call out to her…

Sw: hey sharon…

Sh: jee…

Sw: can I have your number please, if I wanted to contact you…

Sh: sure… my number is 12345678901

Sw: okay, thanks..

Saying this he gives her a miss call

Sw: here this is my number…

Sh: yeah, thanks…

Both their parents were smirking seeing them, and hearing their convo.

Sw&sh: what???

All the parents: no nothing….

With this they drove off to their respective homes to take their luggage…
