CHAPTER 21

All were standing near the entrance gate of St. Louis. Rey was holding taani's hand. He entwin his fingers with hers and was staring at her. Taani was in her own thoughts about the competition , and about her first stage performance.

The bus arrives and with its horn taani came out of her thoughts. She look at rey and rey let go of her hand.

"give me your bag...me rakh dunga." said rey taking her bag from her hand.. Taani smiled at rey and went near girls.

Boys put all bags and sat in the bus. Swayam-amar , nil-bharat were sitting together. Vicky was sitting with vihaan. Rey was sitting alone. Rey was in third seat.

Girls came in and saw boys in the front seats. They frown at boys for taking front seats.

Girls walk toward back seats. Taani was the last one to climb in the bus. When she was about to cross rey, rey hold her hand. Taani look at rey but rey was not looking at her. She saw the seat beside rey was empty.She understood that rey want her beside him. She sat beside him.

~Rey~

She sat beside me. Of course because she love me and i know that. Today , after the performance i will confess my feelings to her. I know about her feelings but still i want to hear it from her mouth. It will be a great moment when she will confess her love to me. I cant wait now to become real papa of yug. Yug...my baby...who understands me very well. After all he is my son.

I dont know when we reached at the venue. I came back in my sense when the driver apply breaks and my nose wnd head collide with the front seat.

"ooww..." i groaned and rub my nose.

"rey..?? Zyada lagi to nahi??" ask taani worriedly.

"thodi si..." i said rubbing my firehead with my fingers.

All stand up and get out of the bus.

We were in our green room , combined gren room...as team D3. Taani was in changing room. It was our turn next. I was ready in my black suit for couple dance.

Others were sitting on the sofa of the green room, watching other contestant's dances. Nervouness was clearly visible on their faces.

"why r u guys so nervous??" i asked as i sense nervousness on their faces.

"dude...this is taani's first stage performence. I hope tum dono ka performence achha ho." said vicky not looking in rey's eyes.

"dont worry yar...i m sure hamara performence best hoga." i said patting on vicky's back and putting my arm around his shoulder.

Just then i heard the sound of the door knob twisting. The door opened and taani came out. She was looking like an angel in that gown. I couldnt take off my eyes from her. I came back in my sense when neha complinet taani.

"loking gorgeous taani." said neha.

She was looking gorgeous in this silver gown. I hope i can consentrate on my dance , because right now its hard to take away my eyes from her. God...she is so beautiful.

Taani's lip corner twitched up as neha compliment her.

"thanks.." she mutter.

"rey.." swayam called me and i look at him unwantedly.😆😆

"ha swayam..."

"all the best..." swayam wished me..and then he wished taani.

All wished us and then we left for the back stage.

Taarey were standing backstage. Taani was beating her nails and rey was as usual staring at her. The performence which is currently on the stage is very good. Taani was noticing theur every steps.

"taani... " rey called her.

"hmmm.." she mutter slowly not looking at rey.

"everything will be fine." said rey.

"hope so rey..." said raani..

"And the next couple is from st. Louis college...taani and reyaansh." the host announced. The audience clapped for them to welcome them.

Taarey look at each other. Rey smile at taani and she returned the smile. They both took a deep breath and came on the stage.

They perform on the song be intehan.

"guys...u both were just awesome.." said vicky and nil who came running to the back stage and hugged rey tightly. Girls came running and hugged taani.

"thank u guys..." taarey said in unison.

Amar bharat and swayam came. Only vihan kriti and vishaka were not here.

"rey...taani..u both just nailed it."said swayam.

Taarey thanked him and all started to walk to the green room. Taarey were last. Rey waa finding a chance to talk with taani. He notice an empty room nearby. With out anyone's notice rey hold taani's hand and drag her inside the room.

"rey?? What r u doing??" ask confused taani.

Rey lock her in between his hands. Her back was touching the wall. And little bit she know why rey drag her here.

"taani...me tumse kuch kehna chahta hu." said rey.

"ha...mya hua rey??" ask taani. She was not able to look in to his eyes. She was looking down and her fingers were playing with each other.

"vo...taani..ab me yug ke dad hone ka natak nahi kar sakta." said rey. He know this will shock her. And the same happen.

Taani looked at him with shock expression. She was trying to believe that rey is lying. She was waiting for rey to say that its a joke. She kept looking in his eyes with confusion.

"Is this your last decision??" ask taani. Rey nod in yes slightly. Taani's eyes become wet. She thought rey doesnt love her so he didnt want to act anymore. She was trying not to cry. She remove his hand and nade a way to go out. But as she walk few steps rey caught her wrist.

"me ab natak nahi kar sakta taani because me sach me yug ka papa ban na chahta hu."rey said slightly clutching her wrist.

A smile appear on her face when rey said this. Tear drops roll down on her cheek.

"me sach me tumhe apni life ka part banana chahta hu." said rey..." kyuki me tumse bahot pyar karta hu."

As rey said this taani closed her eyes tightly and the tears roll down. She bite her lower lip and stop the sob coming out of her throught.

She turn and hug rey tightly, making him unbalanced..but rey managed to balance her weight on his.he stumbled few steps and his back collide with the wall. He wrap his hands around her back and her waist and sqeez her more into him.

"I love you too rey.." said taani.

Rey was on cloud9 after hearing this. He brushed her hair away and planted a kiss on her neck. Taani hug him more tightly as he kissed her.

After few minutes they both broke the hug. Taani kissed him on his both cheek.

"ab yaha par kiss de di hai to yaha bhi de do.." said rey pointing his fingers toward his lips.

Taani smiled and said.."abhi nahi...chalo..ab team performense ka time ho raha hai. Pata hai na unka first performence hai."

"hmmm...i know.."

"u know na...to chaliye yaha se.." said taani. She tug his arm in his and both went to the green room.

"kya guys...kaha reh gaye the tum dono??" ask swayam as he spot taarey coming in the green room.

"vo bhai hum...bas ese hi sab dekh rahe the." taani lied to him.

"ok ok...guys all the best for your performence." said taani...

"thanks taani.." said all.

Rey also wished all and they all went away.

Rey wished vihaan too. But rey find him staring at taani which he didnt like.

Now taarey were alone in the green room. They both sat on the sofa. Rey pull her closer to him. Taani put her head on his chest and hug him. She was listening to his heartbeats. Rey was lost in her.

After 20 minutes a call disturbed both. Taani's cell was ringing. She look at rey's irritated face and smiled. Then she receive the call.

"hello.." said taani.

"ha taani beta...me gupta uncle bol raha hu...me abhi yahi par hu. Tumhara aur sharon ka dance dekhne aaya tha. But mene usse bhi dekha jisne tumhare papa ka accident kiya tha.." said gupta uncle.

Taani stand up from the sofa.

"what .??kon hai vo uncle??"ask taani.

"vo..koi naya ladka hai..abhi abhi tum logo ki team me dekha..." said gupta uncke.

"uncle aap police ko call kar dijiye..." said taani and she cut the call.

"kya hua taani??" ask rey as he notice her angry face.

"rey...aap ko pata hai...papa ka accident vihaan ne kiya tha...uncle ne dekha tha...mene unhe bol diya police ko call karne ke liye..bas iss performence ke baad vo jail me hoga." said taani...unaware of the fact that vihaan heard everything. He was the first one to came in the green room. Others were still chitchatting at back stage. He immidgetly went away from there.

Rey just came back. He was searching for vihaan but he couldnt find him.

"kya yar rey...vihaan ke bare me puch kar tu kahin chala gaya...aur tere jane ke baad taani...baat kya hai??" ask swayam..

"taani?? Kaha gayi vo??" ask rey worriedly...

"pata nahi..tere piche hi gayi thi..." said vicky.

Rey ran out of the green room to find taani. He know taani will ask him why he do this and vihaan will try to hurt her.

He search everywhere but he couldnt find her.

Vihaan was dragging taani by her hairs in the backside room of the venue. Taani was trying hard to get free. He forcefully throw her and taani collide with the wall. Her forehead started to bleed. Then he slap her hard.

"uss din bhi mujhe ese hi thappad mara tha..yaad hai??" said vihaan.

Taani was caressing her red cheek.

"bas thoda wait...phir tum jail me hoge.." said taani with a smirk.

He rush toward her and press his body against her. He hold her shoulder tightly. It was paining.

"leave me vihaan.." said taani. She try to push him but his grip was so tight.

"vihaan...chodo mujhe..." said taani punching him in his chest with her tiny fists.

Vihaan tore her sleeve.

"aahhh..." she screamed as he tore her sleeve. She push him hard and he fell on the ground. Taani try to run but he get up and again hold her from her hairs. He clutch her hairs backward and try to kiss on her neck when a hand grab her collar and pull him away from her.

Taani saw rey grabbing vihaan and she sigh in relief.

Rey's eyes were red due to anger. He punch him three times in his nose. Blood started to coming out of his nose.

"how dare you touch my taani." said rey and he punch him hard in his stomach.

Vihaan fell down clutching his stomach. Rey kick him in his stomach. He was going to beat him more but taani stopped him.

Rey look at taani and hug her tightly.

"tum thik ho??" ask rey breaking the hug and kissing her on her cheeks and nose.

"rey...i m ok..." said taani. Rey notice her forehead bleeding. Again anger was visible on his face. He was going to beat vihaan again but just then gupta uncle came there with police.

They arrest vihaan because gupta uncle was eyevitnase of the accident. Also rey told the inspector about rape attempt. They took him with them.

The gang reach there. It was competition so the venue manager didnt told about this to anyone. He also came there and told the gang not to disclose anything in between the competition to anyone.

"taani...tum thik ho??" ask swayam worriedly.

"ha bhai me thik hu." said taani.

"rey...tum isse ghar leke jao...and first aid her wound. Right now taani is more important than the competition." said swayam. "yaha ki tension mat lo...agar tum log jite to hum trophy le aayenge...tum dono ghar jao."

"thik hai swayam." said rey...
Rey notice her torn sleeve and he wrapped his coat around her.

All went back in the green room and rey call his driver to come here.
