The update was fabulous. You have a very deft touch of describing your characters' interactions in a very true to their nature, believable manner. The whole chapter was so beautifully constructed--with Khushi wanting to confess to her feelings, sending HP to get her a red rose in the middle of the night đ, and then agonizing before Arnav's door before knocking and waking him!!
Arnav's reaction initially to the confession--was vintage, priceless, Arnav-ish emotional confusion đ Was hilarious how he had a running commentary going on his head, on how to make an appropriate 'confession', planning to say that he fell in Love starting with their kiss (love starting with physical attraction), and therefore ward off the emotional vulnerability of the truth!!
And then, the way you described how the last of his emotional walls came crumbling down due to Khushi's artless, guileless confession--sigh...Romance is made of moments like these, no?
I salute you for maintaining your character's coherence and believable development/ evolution. In the serial itself, and some other Fics, sometimes the leads flip their natures 180 degrees within no time, and you wonder whether you are watching/ reading about the same people!!!
But in MKM, there is a lovely flow and poignancy in the way A & K interact and grow with each other. I've mentioned this before in one of my comments, you've made your readers care so deeply for the family unit of Arnav--Khushi--Adit--Adya. Its almost as if they are relatives/ friends of ours who we love so dearly and wish the very best for!!
Eagerly looking forward to the next update. Just hope there is no nasty surprise from Akash or Manorama!! But anyway now both Arnav & Khushi have confessed their feelings to each other, guess (and hope!!) that there should be no space for any MU...
