Khushi's POV

3rd June 2012

"Hey Khushiii!!" Some weird muffled voice woke Me up from my deep slumber.

"Go Away..Go Away...!!" I mumbled while swatting my hand in the air hitting no one in particular.

"Khushi!!! Get Your lazy Bum out of the bed!!!" The voice screamed again.

With a heavy sigh, I pulled Myself from the Bed and got up on my feet.

My room was dark and there was no trace of
sunlight.

"KHUSHI!!!" The persistent voice screamed again.

Where does this Guy get His energy so early in the MORNING?!?!

I opened my window and leaned my head out.

"Good Morning...Lazy Girl." An over enthusiastic-voice exclaimed from the window of the House Next to Mine.

"Arnav...What do You want? Cant You see that Its not morning yet?" I growled while rubbing the
existent sleep from my eyes.

"Khushi...It is 7:30 in the morning...Look at the sky!" Arnav exclaimed while pointing to the horizon.

The sky was turning faint orange with light traces of Yellow and Blue.

Thick drops of rain had started descending making the greenery around the House seem more vibrant and cheerful.

"Aww...Its So Beautiful." I cooed even though I was feeling extremely sleepy.

"No..You are Beautiful." Arnav said looking at Me in...Awe.

I should have known... I was falling in Love with Arnav.

Arnav's POV

13th July 2012

"Khushi...Look...Yaayyy...!!!" I squealed in enthusiasm while clutching the piece of paper in my hand.

"OH MY GOD! What Did You score???" Khushi squealed and jumped along with Me out side the gates of our College.

"I scored an A! What about You?" I said while giant drops of rain had started falling from the sky drenching my result sheet.

"Yaaayyy..I scored More than You...I got an A+!" Khushi squealed while dangling her result sheet in front of My eyes.

"Wow...Come On.Lets go and celebrate Our exam and results survival." I exclaimed while covering her head with My hands shielding her from the rain.

"Arnav...Its raining badly...We can go some other time." Khushi said while We both ran towards our street.

"I will protect You from the harsh rainfall..." I said while hugging Her tightly.

A thousand jolts of warmth spread through My body.

I should have known... I was falling in Love with

Khushi's POV

2nd August 2012

"Arnav...Are You serious?? I screamed, looking at the sky.

"Khushi...I am there with You..Come with Me." Arnav said while pulling My wrist and running across the road.

"Arnav...My hair...its drenched." I whined while He kept pulling Me.

"Its Just Rain..Khushi." Arnav chuckled coming to a halt in front of a very big puddle.

"Arnav... See, A Muddy puddle." I said while jumping in one of the puddles.

"And someone was not ready to come out in the rain." Arnav chuckled and smirked in sarcasm.

I picked up a handful of wet mud and threw it in his direction.

The mud landed at the dead center of his pure white T-shirt.

"KHUSHI!!...This was a freaking New T-shirt.." Arnav said while coming closer to Me with revenge in his eyes, "What is that on Your hair?

I touched my hair and looked at Him in confusion,"What i-...Aaa..Arn-"

My cry was cut off by the large splat of mud in my hair.

"Hahahah..Now we are equal." Arnav said arming himself with another handful of wet mud.

"OK...Now Peace." I said while wiping off the mud with the rain dropping on my face.

"OooH...You could not handle the competition..??" Arnav teased while rubbing more mud on my cheeks.

The closeness affected both of Us in the same way.

Warmth spread on my face due to the way He was wiping the mud from my cheeks.

Rain fluttered over his hair and dropped on to his eyelashes making him look...Breathtaking.

"Let's Go Home." Arnav whispered softly, fanning his breath over my ears.

I should have known... We were falling in Love with each other.

Khushi's POV

24th September 2012

I re-read the message which Arnav had sent 1 Hour ago.

'Meet Me at the Flora Park at our usual seat..See You @ 5. Waiting- Arnav.'

I grabbed my umbrella from the stand and rushed out of the house.

One of the last rains of the rainy season was attacking the city.

My shoes splashed in the puddles and the mud.

I walked swiftly towards the park because it was 5:15 p.m and I was 15 minutes late.

What if Arnav left due to My no-show?

The park was empty except for Arnav who was sitting at our usual bench looking at the falling rain drops.

"Arnav...Are You crazy??" I screamed while running towards Him, "You will fall sick! What are You doing in this heavy rain.??"

"I am waiting for You." Arnav replied while I shared my umbrella with Him.

"You thought I will come?" I said hopefully smiling brightly even though I could not see Him properly due to the heavy down pour.

"I Love Your smile." Arnav confessed even though that was not the answer to my question.

"You called Me here for this? My smile?" I said smirking at his dreamy eyes.

Arnav rested his forehead against mine and said, "I Love You, Khushi."

My heart was racing against time and my breath had hitched making my reply short, "I know."

Hurt flashed through Arnav's eyes and I quickly added," I Love You too."

He wrapped his hands around Me while my hands made themselves comfortable on his neck.

We were too lost in each other to care for the forgotten umbrella on the pavement, the gusty wind and the lashing rain.

I should have known... We were in Love... Always & Forever.
