Taani was left staring'..not at the plate'..but at his behavior'..Sahib didn't seem that bad''.he was very bad.

A cold-blooded man''who didn't even deserve to be called one''..he was not 1% less than an animal''''''..a certified one''''.the one who had just destroyed her life''''' reason of her existence had been put into question'.how the hell could she live here for the rest of her life''.with a man who just wanted her for her beauty'.body'..disgusted by the entire scene'she tried to move on''.what difference could a piece of jalebis make''..her life had turned just in a few hours so much that the plate of sweets seemed to be of little weight'.or rather of none at all.

Eating jalebis to the full Reyaansh's gaze went over Taani who was nibbling onto the piece of stale chapatti coated in ghee. She had tears in her eyes which she was trying to hide very badly. "Par ab kya hua'''main ne toh kuch kaha bhi nahin" Reyaansh was left pondering over the subject for a very long time. But his meditation was interrupted shortly.

*COUGH* *COUGH*

Taani suddenly choked up at the mixed vegetable curry she had been offered. Handing her a glass of water Reyaansh turned around her. Looking up into those cruel eyes'..she could just see the lust'.the desire'.the yearn he had for her'''she could just not take that glass. Looking at his mother expectantly she quickly took the glass she offered and drank it in one gulp.

Weird''...very weird''...nobody had ever done that with him. Trying to forget it''he moved all his concentration towards the food.

After finishing the meal Taani was asked to go back to the room. Following everything to the T, Taani followed a servant back to the room.

"Main ja raha hoon'''jeep le ke'sham tak aa jaaoonga." Reyaansh shouted back when his mother came running out of the kitchen asking him as to where was he going.

Sitting in the jeep''...and driving away speedily'''Reyaansh could do nothing but think about her. He could not help but think about those beautiful eyes''''..and those tears which accompanied them. Reaching the home at about 8 in the evening he directly headed for her room when he stopped dead in his pants''''"Samajh gaya'main samajh gaya" Reyaansh repeated this in his mind for the nth time when he finally took a left turn and reached the kitchen.

"Oye sun''jaldi se ek plate achcha sii jalebi bana de" he said to her younger sister Sharonjeet.

"Dikh nahin raha kya'..main chai bana rahi hoon''Baapu or Bhai ke liye." Sharonjeet replied back'''..candidness and flamboyance reflecting in every word she spoke.

"Bhai kuch keh raha hai na'.kar de'''tera kya jaaega" an elderly woman sitting on a rocking chair'''...with beads of rosary in one hand spoke, sternly and firmly demanding acceptance in one second.

"Ji dadi''.par abhi toh khaee thi...ab kyun" Sharonjeet answered loosing another battle to her Bhai.

"Tu bana''woh mera kaam hai" Reyaansh answered sharply drawing a close to the discussion.

Within half an hour of desperate wait a plate of hot jalebis dripping in chaashni was handed over to Reyaansh who took a few minutes to pick up that hot a plate.

Taking that plate he moved out of the kitchen'.in the corridor towards her room'."woh bahut khush ho jaaegi'.iss baar toh pakka waala"

Ecstatic and excited he was almost there when he stopped "main kaise doonga'.tu pagal ho gaya hai Reyaansh''.tu yeh kya kar raha hai'''tu kaise ek ladki ko yeh de sakta hai."

Still thinking he saw his 6 years old niece playing with his toy gun.

"Idhar aa''.Preet idhar aa''''yeh use de" he said handing him a plate of jalebis and a chocolate in the other. He pointed towards the girl sitting beside the window staring onto space and asked him to rush.

"Ruk'''mera naam mat lena" Reyaansh warned him.

"Theek hai''..nahin loonga." Preet answered back in his jovial, young voice.

"Didi'''didi yeh lo''yeh aapke liye."Preet kept the plate of jalebis on the bed and ran away throwing the wrapper of his chocolate on the floor on his way.

"Jalebi bheji hai''..par kisne?" Taani asked herself. "Par koi mujhe kyun dega yahan?

Kya fark padta hai'..shayad kisi ko yahan yeh lagta hai kee meri khushi jalebis se toli ja sakti hai''.shayad use bhi nahin pata'..khushi jalebis se nahin'''.mann se aati hai" Taani said laughing away at the situation and continuing to stare at the night sky outside.
