My guess

1) Akash himself is in love with some one & wants to tell Khushi the same & may be even invited the girl (can be Payal or any one) to the dinner too.

2) Seeing Khushi's engagement ring she might figure it out himself so no awkward situation at all.

I cannot think more 😃 Too sleepy.

Awesome update! Loved it! Arnav was proper teasing her at breakfast! Was soo cute. Looks like he's taking full advantage of being her fianc now and letting her know about his feelings. Well at least some hints! Wow Arnav and his insecurities! Im so glad khushi is the calm headed one. And has learnt how to handle Arnav and his unpredictable behaviour. Although it was nice to see Arnav trying to control his anger in front of khushi and his niece/nephew. Good to see that he's putting his trust in khushi regarding akash. Although don't think it's going to last very long! Lol. Will be looking forward to your next update!
