Ch20.

Wedding Day:

The house was bustling with people,roaming here and there to complete the decorations of the wedding.Chotu ran to check the security measures,while Rathod went after checking the decorations,while,Ankita was in charge of getting Riya and Prateeksha ready.

After all the decorations were done and everything checked twice,everybody went to their respective rooms to get ready for the wedding.

Chotu went to his house,where he will bring the Baraat of Arjun and Shree... Arjun and Shree were getting ready in their respective rooms.Chotu's Aai came and called them outside for the Sehra Bandhai Rasam... Arjun was dressed in creamish golden sherwani with a read pagri and creamish pathani salwar,while,Shree wore a maroon coloured sherwani with creamish white pathani salwar and maroon pagri.. Both of them looked dashing.Chotu's Aai did the Aarti of both Arjun and Shree and applied a dot of kajal behind their ears.Then,she tied the sehras,concealing their faces. Chotu signalled the band party to start playing the drums.Everybody,including some distant cousins of Arjun and Shree,along with their academy friends joined the Baraat,while Chotu called up Rathod to inform him that they have left.

In Rathod's House:

Everything was set.The hall was decoratted grandly,as a grand stage was built in the middle of the hall.Panditji was doing the preparations,while Ankita prepared the Thaali for welcoming the grooms. Makeup artists were with Riya and Pratee,who were getting ready.

Atlast,the baraat came..Rathod and Ankita saw that Arjun and Shree were sitting on the horses with their faces behind the Sehra.Arjun and Shree came down from the horses with the help of Chotu and Rathod.Ankita did the formal welcome of the grooms',traditionally.She even pulled the noses' of Arjun and Shree,which created a small moment of laughter amongst people present there.After the welcome,both the grooms' were taken to the stage.

Riya and Pratee were doing their final touch ups.Riya wore a golden lehenga with red wide border with golden sequins with heavy jewellery,while,Prateeksha wore a reddish maroon lehenga with heavy wedding jewellery.Ankita did their aarti and prayed to Maa Durga for blessing them with happiness and bliss as they are going to start their married life.

Soon,the brides' were called for the Pheras.Ankita brought down Riya and Prateeksha,who stood beside Ankita,on different sides.Arjun and Shree looked up to have a glance of their brides',and,they were lost in their beauty.Arjun and Shree smiled to themselves.Ankita helped Riya and Prateeksha sit beside their respective grooms.

Panditji lit the Havankund and started the rituals.Arjun-Riya and Prateeksha-Shree followed and performed all the rituals.It was followed by the Jaimala rasam.The Jaimala rasam was a treat to watch when four groups of boys,two with each pair,lifted Arjun-Riya and Prateeksha-Shree for the Rasam.Next was the most difficult part,Kanyadaan...
Rathod and Ankita did the both Kanyadaans'.This moment brought up tears in Ankita,Riya and Prateeksha's eyes. The Gatbandhans' were tied very tightly.As the Panditji recited the Mantras,the couples' took the pheras,starting with the girls' taking the first four pheras,while the boys' took the last three,uniting both the couples' from heart and soul..

Everybody clapped,as the couples' were locked in a pure and scared bond of marriage.

Arjun turned his face to see his Riya.He then kept his hand on her palm.Riya looked at him with lots of love and asked, ''Aaj hum ek hogaye,Arjun...''

Arjun,then,took her palms and kissed it,as he promised through his eyes that he will always keep her happy and will always support her...

Same condition was with Shree and Prateeksha.They looked at each other and conversed through their eyes...

Panditji now announced to tie the wedding chain on the neck of their wives' and fill the partition of their wives' forehead with Sindoor.Arjunn and Shree,first tied the wedding chain around the necks' of Riya and Prateeksha and filled their partition with Sindoor,respectively,while,Panditji blowed the Conch Shell thrice and guests and Rathod,Ankita,Chotu,Chotu's Aai and little Pihu showered the newly married couples' with flowers.

''Aaj se Arjun aur Riya,aur,Shree aur Prateeksha pati patni hai..Abhi aap chaaro milke apne bare buzurg ka aashirwaad lijiye...''

As they came down from the mandap,both the couples' took blessings from their elders.Rathod,Ankita and Chotu congratulated them and blessed them a happily married Life.

After finishing chatting with everyone,Bidaai time came.It was really becoming very emotional.Prateeksha and Riya were crying hugging Ankita and Rathod.Litlle Pihu also cried seeing Pratee Bua and Riyu Maasi crying.Riya and Pratee kissed that little angel' forehead.After throwing the rice backwards,which fell on the aanchal of Ankita's saree,both Prateeksha and Riya sat in the car with their husbands' and went away to their sasural..

Hello guys... Updating this story after a very long time... Do comment on the update and like it also... It encourages the writer to write more stories...

As this story is nearing its end,so,thought of changing the title of it,because,Arjun-Riya and Prateeksha-Shree are now married and their lives' are complete...

This FF will now be known to you as,

''FF:Life is now Complete..'' from ''FF:Sunke bhi ansuna kardia thha...Par ab nahi...''

Wonderful update dr...!!!!
The way u describe every ritual was way too beautiful...!!!!
Wow Arjun n Shree lost in their beautiful brides...!!!!!
Finally they got married after facing ups n downs especialli Ariya...!!
Loved how Arjun promised her through his gestures...!!!
